Hi skindo
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

There is major works going on in the centre green belt down the middle of the street with the seat gone.
An easy find once I read the description. Cache was laying in the open. Have tried to hide it a bit better. Thanks for placing the cache
Day three of my road trip from Auckland to Nelson in my newly acquired convertible cachemobile. Finding a few caches along the way. An interesting main street indeed. Zero'd in on the cache and found as per the hint. TFTC, Biggles.
Found the cache where described but the log has been wet and disintegrated. I didn't have a spare with me. Needs a bit of TLC.
We arrived early so there were no muggles around and we could search without being watched.
After finding the cache we enjoyed reminiscing along the nearby celebrity walkway.

It is Saturday and I have teamed up with Scoria a spot of caching for the day when we left the weather wasn't looking to good it like it was going to rain but as we headed south it clear up so the rain coats were not needed
As noted below Scoria needed collect 17 for this month so hopefully to will finish that goal off me on the other hand I'm just out to get some caches that a further afield than what it is realist for me to get just one caches to fill in a missing dot on my calendar matrix
When we approach ground zero there was a muggle seated nearby and we would have been in plain view of him so we headed over to the supermarket to get some lunch I was the first to finish and by the time Scoria had caught up I had the cache in hand
Thanks for the cache

I'm on a mission to pad out each of my monthly find statistics to a minimum of 100 this year in order to claim a series of challenges. Only needed 17 more for June so I teamed up with D6NZ and we headed out toward Pahiatua. Our planned rural route was slightly revised with a need to visit a township.
A muggle sat opposite GZ so we nipped in to the supermarket to grab lunch. D6 was somewhat faster in his lunch selection than us so as we left the store with lunch in hand we found D6 had already returned to GZ and had located the cache.
Cheers.

Homeward bound after spending the weekend in the southern Wairarapa. Quick stop here to pick up a cache. As a child Kiwi often played on the nearby aeroplane slide whenever his family was visiting this town. Cache soon located following the hint. TFTC
On the way to the Wairarapa with some cacheing stops along the way. Sat in a few places before the cache was in hand. Thanks for hiding Skindo.
Found 11.10pm
DAY 1
Mission today was to complete the shield series of caches. We had the balance of solves with us and a driving route plan made to collect these with the least amount of driving.
We traveled last night after work down as far as Hunterville. Crashed here for the night, we also had a few lonely caches in the area we wanted as well, which had being missed on previous trips.
Early start today with not much sleep as trains kept passing through Hunterville, that seemed liked hourly.
We had a goal today which I think Squirrel Nutcase and myself achieved.
Some caches took longer than others to find, walk to plus a few multi's which we thought we had solved, but ere slightly out. Just as well I found a copy of the right book that we could find answers to these ones.
Thanks to cache owners for placement and up keep of these. SLTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... We are in a bind at the moment. Our usual accommodation haunts are booked out for St. Patrick's Day tomorrow. As our caching business tomorrow lies to the east, we decided to seek look on the that side of the Tararua Ranges... Pahiatua looks like an interesting location...
We are not exactly from a metropolis ourselves, but this place screamed of strangeness. The streets were almost vacant, there was no petrol station, and a single takeaway bar was open for business when everything else was shut up. The huge separating island down the middle of the street did nothing to unify the place (At least this feature is alluded to in this cache description)... After finding our room for the night and dinner, it was time to explore. Gap followed the hint instructions and found this one in place. Our definite last find for the day. TFTC.

Stopped here on the way to Napier for the weekend and decided to grab a couple of caches. Thanks Skindo for the clear hint that allowed and easy find.
Late evening and getting dark but managed to locate the cache without difficulty. Tftc
In town on the way to the Mega with TaraTed, we have been doing the stickmen series and now out for a even stroll. Easy and quite find, thanks for the cache Blenheim bear
Homeward bound and had time to grab this cache. A quick find, just happened to put my hand right on it when reaching in. TFTC
1 July 2018 16:17. On the way back to Wellington now, after an epic weekend of caching and excellent scenery and company. Hoping that the fading light and threatening drizzle would deter the muggles we searched, and GSEL soon had it in hand. TFTC.
#5864. Day 2 of the mid-winter road trip into the back blocks of the Wairarapa and southern Hawkes Bay. The team (Ethness, Infoferret and I ) camped overnight in Dannevirke (OK it wasn't really camping as we all had comfortable beds and it was inside a nice motel). But it was base camp for the night. Heading back south now and time for just one or two more caches before dark. Stopped here to see if this cache could be signed off. The hint sort of made it look easy but after some searching there was no sign of the cache anywhere. So thought about where it could be hidden and a more careful look there revealed the cache well tucked in. It had moved away from the seat quite a bit so its now replaced so its a better match with the hint. Thanks for hiding it here skindo.
Found while out with nz1.
Passing this way to pick up items up the road.
Cache in good order Tnlnsl TFTC.

Had a extensive search with 5 of us looking. Just couldn't find it. Fairly certain its gone missing.
Quick find. Super hot weather and very quiet on the first day of 2018. Happy New Year!
This was the thirteenth day of my driving trip down to Oamaru for Geofest 2017. I stopped every five to ten kms or so along the way to grab a cache. This expanded my driving time to a total of two weeks to get there and home again. I ended up going a total of 3,500 kms.
After taking the ferry back to Wellington in the morning, I still had time to grab a few today. TFTC.

The weather kept people away otherwise this may have been muggle central, especially at lunchtime. The cache was a quick find. It's a pity the weather was what it was, as the kids would have enjoyed the playground up the road. TFTC

Found on the way to Hawkes Bay for a weekend caching. I could find this one first time I looked - however that was about two years ago. Quick find today.
Thanks for another smilie. All good at GZ.

Thanks to the Cache Owner who has gone to the trouble of creating this cache, determining the coordinates and then averaging them to make sure they are accurate, placing the cache and registering it online for our enjoyment. Without Cache Owners doing their bit, there wouldn't be a fun hobby that we all love - so again a big THANK YOU. For our bit, all we need to do is find and log the cache that was carefully placed for our personal enjoyment. As we log it we should consider that the Cache Owner also needs to maintain it - when the log sheet fills up, they must replace it. When the container becomes full of water, they need to empty it. When the container is broken, they need to repair it. When it goes missing they need to find or replace it. Well..... the great news is we can do our bit too - make sure your log doesn't take an entire page - just a name and date. If full of water, empty and dry the cache as best as possible. Be careful when handling the cache and make sure you replace it where you found it. If it has a bag, seal it. Just remember - the Cache Owner showed respect to you by placing the cache - please respect them and fellow cachers that follow you by being careful with the cache. And if you have a spare log sheet and the cache you are at needs one, please leave it behind. Finally, if the cache does need maintenance, please let the Cache Owner know - you can log a Maintenance Log or you can drop a line to the Cache Owner. Above all - have fun and remember the Geocaching Code.
Thanks for another smilie. All good at GZ.

On road trip to Shannon via Pahiatua Track. Quick find after muggles moved on. Cheers.
Passing through. Refreshed by a cup of tea at the bakery and then made the find. TFTC
Picked this one on an early morning bike ride from the Post Office Hotel before going 65 km in the sun with the tramping club.

#1209. Stopped by here briefly on our way to Mt Bruce. I'm focussing on caches placed more than 3 yrs ago at the moment for the Rangitoto Island Challenges so this was on the list. A quick dash across the road and the cache was soon in hand. Thanks.
Heading home after a bit of a geocaching trip. I was a bit hesitant to reach in so went around the back and looked. Thanks.
During our holidays in NZ wist1972 and me also visited this place. Found the cache easily.

A quick find with SJT_NZ and last one of the day, snuck out while waiting for lunch at the Black Stump on route back to Welly. TFTC
A quick find with TregearP as we stopped for lunch which returning to Wellington via Napier from this year's Mega in Turangi.

On our way to stay with friends in Upper Hutt after attending a conference in Palmerston North. We don't come this way very often, so Geocaching was the order of the day.
Very quiet here today and Mrs S soon made the find. There is one town in New Zealand where the railway runs through the middle of the town and that is KawaKawa up north. Be thankful Paihiatua that the railway doesn't run through the middle of your lovely main street. Green grass, lots of trees, flower and places to sit are more important and much more attractive.
Thanks skindo. Another smilie on the road south.

Failed to find there last time here (years ago). Different time of year and a few other things (incl better GPS) made a easy find. TFTC
A second visit here and thought we would need to log another DNF but then reinforcements came from the car and Mr JP spotted the cache straight away. Last cache for our little road trip down south. TFTC
May be it was the dark night, or the terrible weather, but didn't manage to find this one. I'll be back looking the next time I'm passing though!
Quick find by Papa Bear, on our way back to Wellington after a few days in Napier. Tftc
The first one out of 3 so far today we managed to find. Relatively secluded spot on a busy day in town. Onwards to masterton for more caches.
Found it, signed it, placed back where found... nice quiet day in Pahiatua. Thanks for the cache
Managed to replace it just as some muggles decided to sit nearby. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
Coords a bit off, kept pushing me towards the left hand end. But persevered and got the cache. TFTC
Called in today hoping to find and then replace the log. Unfortunately we cannot find the cache.
We found it. No official log, so have placed a piece of scrap paper in it to sign. TFTC
Found it but it has been muggeled We found the empty pill container and lid but no log.
Found it with Team FIN [janahola, kapeka, laalaa & temyllyl]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in New Zealand. Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was pretty good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and really scenary country!
Greetings from Finland

Thanks for the cache.
On a geoholiday road tripping to Christchurch MEGA and around beautiful New Zealand. Our four people group (temyllyl, laalaa, kapeka and myself) from Finland used group tag FIN to log the caches.
Welcome to MEGA Finland in 5-7 august 2016!
Today our trip continued to Taupo. Of course some caching on the way. We had lots of fun and saw many nice places and caches. Thanks for the cache!

14th day on our geo-roadtrip in New Zealand, and caching our way towards north. Logged using our group nickname FIN with janahola, laalaa and kapeka. After having a blast in South Island and in Christchurch Mega event, we had to start heading back home. Fortunately we still had few days left to spend in NZ while driving to Auckland.
Not Found. Had a good look around. One to do on a fine day, not on a typical rainy Pabiatua day.
Cache soggy. Dried out but logsheet disintegrating needs replacing. Left 3 goodies for next cacher
