Awesome series that I did over approx five months. I didn't know this track was so good and so long.
My dogs enjoyed their outings too!

Thoroughly enjoyed this series of caches, and where they brought me. Saw some parts of Manawatu i probably wouldn't have otherwise (while here on a short weekend break).
No problems locating final GZ, and supplying required info. Logged with CO permission.

It took a few months to gather all the caches but I really enjoyed this series. Tracks are all well maintained and provide a nice walkway along the river.
Thanks for the series.

Logged with OK from cache owner. The series was a lot of fun- really enjoyed getting out and about down the whole river track. Quite a lot of work has been done along the track west of the Lido since I was last down here- glad to discover how accessible it all is now.
Logged with permission from CO. An obvious find once we had the coordinates sorted. Thanks for the series, it was a lot of fun.

Found the first of this series in April 2011, the next two earlier this week and the remaining three this morning. Calculated the final co-ords and found the hiding spot ok - no cache there of course so emailed the cache owner. Logging with permission. Enjoyed the walks along the Banks of the Mighty Manawatu. TFTC.

Logged with permssion from CO, thanks for the series and an enjoyable set of differing views of the river
found on a very damp day with thick cloud.
Even though my GPSr claimed to have +/-3m accuracy, it took me to the middle of a clearing to a pair of cutty grass (which doesn't tie in with the "Question to answer").
Expanding my search radius I found a potential site some 20m from the cutty grass but came up empty for likely hidey holes.
Going back 20m in the other direction, I found another site that made my geo-senses tingle.
The CO confirmed that this was indeed GZ and kindly granted permission to log my find.
Thanks for the cache and indeed for the enjoyable series. It's taken me a leisurely 12 months to complete.

Found with Agogo. A fairly solid effort to complete the series in one day. Have submitted co-ordinates to cache owner. Can remove log if necessary
Really interesting series! Started it half a year ago and finished after we already moved to Wellington Thanks a lot!
Our second to last stop of the day before we headed back to Wellington.
A shame the cache is no longer in place but good to be able to tick off the find after completing the series.

A most enjoyable series that I completed over 3 visits to town spread out over a year and a bit.
I visited the Final I worked out today, and emailed the CO a description of the caches former hiding spot.
Logging with their kind permission. Thanks very much.

Found clues over a few visits and got to the final area today but couldn't find the cache. Hadn't read the cache page (actually couldn't find the cache page - just used the codes from the first 6 caches). Logged with permission of the owner. TFTC
Have been given the ok to post - phew! A great challenge, and good to see along this stretch of the river... Dog appreciated the exercise, but was knackered after the up-stream half! TFTC, and will also try 'Valley Walks' soon.
Great series. A most enjoyable day. Thanks for setting this up. Permission to post granted.
Great to finally get this series done. Fantastic walkway in a lovely part of Palmy that i hand`t spent a lot of time at. TFTC
Logged with permission what a great day for this series and a great area to explore many thanks
Many thanks for permission to post the find
Really enjoyed the series which I did while in PN for a long weekend.
I looked at your gallery and freedom camping looks like at Donnerally park

Yay. Found it (with permission).. Didn't do the whole walk at once, but did it over a few expeditions I love the track along the river though. Thanks heaps for the caches, we really enjoyed it!
Found with permission . This is an Excellent series. Well done, me&him. Shame about the horrible nasty muggles.
Found where it should be, nice hidey hole. Requested permission to claim the find...
Have sent an email describing co ords and location will wait for permission before we log.
Found the GZ with Novalightning yesterday but no sign of a cache. Emailed the owner and have confirmed we were in the right spot. He is going to replace ASAP.

After making a point of finishing off the series this weekend (extended) we were a bit disappointed to DNF this one, after emailing the owner they confirmed that we had the right coords and we described where we thought the cache should be, there was a space for it but no cache in that space!!
Owner has kindly allowed us to log it as a find!
Thanks heaps!

this hasn't been found for a while so we will get out and check on it as soon as we can.. in the interim, describe what it at the coordinates for a "find"
I was in Palmerston North on business and had an absolute blast doing the "Banks of the Mighty Manawatu" series over a couple of days. Unfortunately after arriving at the final coordinates and spending over an hour searching, this cache completely eluded me . Hopefully it hasn't been muggled as I am pretty sure that my coordinates were correct. Great series anyway and hopefully I'll pick this up next time I am in town.
After being in contact with the owner, confirmed that I was in the right location and that the cache has been muggled. This gets a favourite from me. TFTC and the series!
Finally got the time to finish this one off. Quick find, with good directions. Enjoyed this set of caches, many thanks.
Finally got round to finishing off this series. Two suspicious looking muggles passed by - looked like they were into gardening! We used to live close by and can remember floods completely surrounding our swimming pool so can believe your site got flooded.
When we got to GZ, we were unsure if we had worked out the correct co-ordinates as the location didn't feel right, and there was some smelly rubbish at GZ. I had a quick look but found nothing, so StreetWalker rechecked calcs. No mistakes, we were at correct location, just suffering from caching overload as he soon spotted the cache.
Thanks for another excellent series.
Thanks for another excellent series.
#2060. The final location seemed a bit out of keeping with the rest of the series. We were worried we might end up not quite finishing the series. but stuck at it, and located in the end. TFTC.
Finally completed after two visits to Palmy, one in December 2010, one in March 2011. Some great hides and excellent camo in this series. TFTC's.
Once we had all the coordinates, this was a nice quick find. Thanks for the excellent series of caches - really enjoyed them, even if we didn't do them all in one go!
#1876. An enjoyable series by the mighty Manawatu. Nice container at the final. TNLNSL.. TFTC and series.
Finished off the series this morning, having completed all but #1 yesterday by bike. However, I would still have grabbed this one before #1 if I had time, since I noticed I could infer the complete coordinates with info gleaned from #2-6.
Thanks for a great series. I really enjoyed my bike ride gathering the required info and a few other caches along the way.
TFTC.

Another wonderful themed multi - thanks guys, great hides and a very nice day in the sun biking alongside the river. Final cache location was a nice spot and cool camo, thanks for all the caches
We got wet feet finding this one! A wonderful idea and a thoroughly enjoyable cache series, thank you.
Had a great time doing this series. Completed with Gumpy Boy. Did over a few warm evenings. TFTC
Thanks for all you hard work and effort put into the design and building of this series. We loved it! Logged with Doomwheel and Blonde.
Thanks for another great set, Me and Snail_trailing had alot of fun, so did the dog
What a great multi. Thank you so much for the effort in setting this up. Some neat little spots chosen for the caches. We had an awesome day cycling along the river. Stopped for a picnic lunch about the half way mark. All in all, a very fun day.
11.46am. What a great series. Well worth doing.
Thanks for taking us to all the different spots along the river.

Finally, what a great series, managed to finally get back and finish this series off today. This is a well worth while series to do if you want a bit of exercise. It took me to some lovely spots and it was a great walk, even though I had to do it in a few different trips BUT it didn't take the highlight off it. Definitely looking forward to doing the next series next time I am in town. Thanks for the great walk and nice spots and a great spot for the final. TFTC TNLNSL (2284)
#1500. Bingo! Enjoyable series with some great hides along the way. Made this hard for myself by completing them in an illogical order and also having to go back to one beacuse I didn't take enough care with the numbers! TFTC & the series - 1500th find.
TFTC's I said I wanted to go for a walk today to Skeetinnz and boy didn't I under estimate this one. Had alot of fun doing it.
# 284 T4TC Now that did stretch the legs a bit. For those of you going to do it please remember if you start at number 1 and go the whole way thru to 6 and finish the multi at 7. You need to remember, that where you left your car that is where you need to get back to. hehehehehehe Interesting experiment to do in a city you don't live in. We just reversed the walk again lol We had a great day today. Lovely walk along a great river. Will be doing your other multi from start to finish and back again soon.
Having found the rest of the caches in the series, with the little Misses nzcoozer, over the previous two days, today the final was a quick easy find. TFTC
A nice quick find - love the camo! Hard to imagine the river coming so far up! TFTC
What a clever hide - even included trained wildlife to add authenticity! TFTC and thanks for the whole series - an excellent concept. Now on to the Valley series.
Nice easy find for the final.
Thanks for this really enjoyable series.
Am now looking forward do doing your new 'Valley walks'.

yeh! FTF,AF= first to find, after flood My third along the All Mighty Manawatu River! Wonderful camo container although a bit wet after next heavy rain fall, but new cache and log book inside all dry!
not sure how this cache has fared given the level of the river over the past 24 hours... will get to it and check it out as soon as i can..
seems the force of the swollen mighty manawatu river was too much for this cache... will rehide asap
Have rehidden a new cache at the same co-ordinates as the original one is no where to be found amongst the mud and the silt from raging flooded river.. now well above potential future floods
Cleo spotted a likely landmark in the distance and said, "That's the spot." Possum followed the GPS and yes it was. A quick find after doing number 4 earlier this afternoon to complete the series. We have enjoyed the series on our Sunday walks thanks very much. Left a motor bike and rabbit and took another bike and viking figure.
Collected five of the caches two weeks ago. Completed the last two on a pleasant Sunday afternoon. Thanks for this enjoyable series.
in the process of moving # 1 in the series due to the original hiding place no longer existing , we won't disable this one, hopefully # 1 will be up and running again very soon, and we'll update the additional waypoint asap...
Finished the series yipee. Thanks to me and him for your great cache. Picked up TB
Great series of caches, got all the numbers for final. Spent a long time confused and searching slightly wrong place. Checked co-ordinates and realised I had entered a number incorrectly. Then soon had the cache found. SL Thanks for your efforts setting this up.
Found after doing the other 6 in the series. Completed then all on a murky wet afternoon and throughly enjoyed my travel via push bike. Took the zodiac and left another TB. TFTC
A very enjoyable series of caches.
I actually searched the right spot for the final cache last night, but didn't find anything.
With the help of the hint and a more thorough search I found it tonight.
Thanks.
