Found with e.gregory1 during a trip to WA for a few weeks. Spent an hour or so caching around Kambalda mid-morning before heading up to Kalgoorlie for a late lunch then out to Kanowna and beyond for the afternoon. Thanks for the cache Choccywabit!
Found on a trip to Western Australia from Adelaide with FeatherWaite. Today we travelled from near Balladonia to the Goldfields north-east of Kalgoorlie, finding a few caches of interest along the way.Interesting old townsite and graveyard. Thanks ChoccyWabit for the cache.
TFTC. Staying with family in Kalgoorlie for a few days and decided to head out to Kanowna. Interesting history and added a few smilies to the map
Full time Nomads since March 2014, in WA to visit family.
Having been in Perth to visit family our stay has come to an end and we are on our way to Broken Hill for the Mundi Mundi Bash. Today we headed out of Kal to Kanowna and Bulong to find a few caches but alas we were low on fuel, so we could not attempt all the caches we wanted to. Lots of history out here!

Hi there ChoccyWabit - finally our trip to Queen Victoria Spring (via Cundelee) has come. As a group of 8 we travelled out to QVS yesterday and our return to Kalgoorlie via the Nippon Highway. We found this cache at 0314pm after a short search - and the container and log are as noted in the Fieldnotes below. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to ChoccyWabit for this cache - the 6th of 9 finds for the day.

Arrived in Kal after a road trip with Neva2old and sharing many laughs along the way. We spent our 1st night in Southern Cross where we joined forces with Beaker to continue our drive to Kalgoorlie to set up camp for an event. Then off to Queen Victoria Springs with a group of 4x4 adventurers to camp under the stars.

My mother who has gone to a better place too would have loved this area. Interesting.
Drove along some questionable bush tracks and found some very interesting grave sites. Also found the cache in a rather surprising location. Tftc
Next cache of the day. Easy to spot, so have tried cover it more.
Take care walking around. TFTC.

Mrs fratra's paternal Grandmother was born in Kanowna in 1901 so we spent time exploring the area and picking up a few caches along the way.

Eine interessante Geschichte. Danke fürs Erzählen sagen HunttheHunters & Missy
In Kalgoorlie on the way home from Tropicana. I stopped here to have a look around and was rewarded with an interesting history lesson. Thanks for placing this geo here. TFTC
The Flintstones never forget the young men who came out to the goldfields . A man died just doing his job. TFTC
I think I have already grabbed a cache out here many years ago. the cache was an easy find but I dont think it follows the geocaching guidelines. We need to be respectful in cemeteries and place the caches away from the graves. Something to keep in mind for future ones.

I took a run out to Kanowna to pick up some local GC's. I haven't been out here since the early 1980's, so thanks to the CO's for bringing me back. A pity that the grave marker is so "official", one would never know the back-story except for this Geocache. I picked this one up at 12:10 this morning. TNLNSL TFTC ChoccyWabit.
Rolling with the blench gang. Left wags the dog and zebra guy. Took square rocks. TFTC
I am currently staying in Kalgoorlie at the moment for a few days and attempting some of the local caches and checking out some of the sights. Took a trip up to the interesting spot for the morning. Cache found OK. TFTC. and bring me here.
pug002 found it 10/7/2016 on our geo trip to Kal. Geo hubby with Bob did this, geo wife resting for up coming surgery. TFTC ChoccyWabit
Ventured out to Kanowna as this was the first posting Mr Swaggies Great Grandfather, an Anglican Minister, had when he arrived in Australia from Ireland! Wonder what he thought when he arrived here?! Had a great time wandering around the town and even managed to find where the church would have been! Thanks for the cache ChoccyWabit!!
TFTC! Found during a 6-Day trip from Perth to Kalgoorlie, Esperance and back to Perth via many back roads and country towns. We found a huge number of caches, clocking up nearly 3000km for the entire trip.
The highlights of the trip have been picking up a bunch of old caches in Kalgoorlie and the surrounding towns, placed by some of Western Australia's first geocachers.
We ventured as far north as Leonora in search of our prizes even visiting a large number of ghost towns along the golden outback trail, some of the most amazing places I've seen in my life, see the pics if you want to know more.
During our trips out from Kal we think we visited nearly every gravesite or headstone in the region with the number of caches in and around cemeteries!
We completed a large amount of cache maintenance around the Kal area, with a large number of the older caches suffering with cracked lids, smashed containers, wet logs and alike. We planned to help about a dozen caches with new containers and ran out after the first couple of days. So if you're in the area please help out as best you can.
We also picked up a number of caches in Esperance placed by some of the newest cachers in the state, who seem to have so much passion and energy.
We ventured out to Cape Le Grande and picked up a few of the caches there, not quite being game enough to grab the views of hellfire cache but we grabbed all of the others we paid for our walking that night!
We even had time to place a couple of caches in my Country Cache series so please look out for them on your travels. Thanks to the locals who have kindly agreed to maintain them.
Thanks to all of the Cache owners for placing the caches that we found, hopefully you can place a few more for our next trip
Thanks
A geocache touching the headstone, now that's a first for me! Nice spot

Went on a trip from Perth to Kalgoorlie down to Esperance and then back to Perth. Spent 6 days finding, hiding and even maintaining caches along the way.
The majority of caches were found easily and in good condition even some archived ones.
Took a few travel bugs and placed along the way.
