Stunning place to visit. Nice stroll to the cache on a perfect th day. Watching whales play and surfers do their thing. Coordinates spot on made for quick find. Cache, all in good order. Tftc
Heck of a road in, hope my undercarriage is intact! Climbed in dress and thongs to the destination but could not find the cache!
What a remote place ! A lonnnnnnnnng trip on a corrugated road but this place is amazing
We are staying at Quobba Station for a few days and made the drive to Red Bluff today. Unfortunately the rain and gusty wind came in as we drove up the track 50 klms north of our van. Plenty of vans up here though but no surfers risking it today. Replaced the container, left old log sheet and left where found. Thanks Akkedis
Heading north to see the eclipse, but first we enjoyed a few nights camping at Gnaraloo Station. Amazing place. Today we are heading back down to Carnarvon for re-supplies, then straight up to Exmouth ready for the big event tomorrow! Not many caches along this stretch of coast, so after finding most of the others on the drive up to Gnaraloo a few days ago, today we called into Red Bluff - which I had saved to mark my 6000th find We bounced the 4WDs right up to the path which leads to the Stone House, then parked up and went off to explore. Camp options here look awesome, will definitely be back. After taking the high road to the cabin (also amazing - I could easily live there!), it was down the rocky slopes towards GZ. Once there it was a nice quick find. Coming back on the low road, it was great to see some exposed fossils and explore the beach caves. Visiting with *LE4SKY* and *Iwasdraggedhere*. A fave point for sure! No problems here today, TFTC
Caravanning, Caching and Hunting Wild Flowers on our trip around W.A. Having got the other caches along this road, 7 years ago, we had to get this one. What a beautiful place to camp. Saw 2 Whales and a Dolphin jump out of the water while Hubby did the hunting. T.F.T.C.
Awesome spot here. We enjoyed exploring all the caves below. Still wondering how the 3 dinghies got where they are though?! TFTC
Within 800m but the no dogs allowed sign stooped us thank you for bringing us to this beautiful beach
Me copwat made this a lot harder than it is he took the high track and when he stumbled on loose rocks in his thongs he landed in a spinifex bush after a couple of mins pulling spikes from his arms legs and neither region and clothing he finally made an easy find all in good condition TFTC
Good, not too hard older kids recommend. Still stay with the theme of rocks. Bit harder.
On our way through to Gnaraloo Station, we stopped in here to check out the surf camp. Pretty unique spot with lots of great camping spots and surf huts. Scenery here is pretty awesome too. Thanks Akkedis for bringing us up this way and thanks for placing a cache for us to find.
Found whilst checking out the facilities. Near the end of the day and the surfers were all heading back to camp.
Good find. We're camping nearby at Red Bluff so definitely wouldn't miss this one. Busted a thong on the way in though so had top retreat and get new footwear before trying again!TFTC.
I definitely wasn’t expecting to see a 2.5m shark swimming in the shallows off cliffs near GZ. People were happy swimming 200m up the beach as well.
It’s busy here! So many campers and fishers.

Visited Red Bluff when we were camped up at the Quobba Blowholes campground and found this cache. A very rugged campsite for those who love to surf. SL.
Awesome spot for a good, quick find! Pretty special after seeing big sharks, manta rays and 'almost' landing a big fish from the rocks, awesome!
Found this while camping at Red Bluff. Ahh, what an awesome spot this is! Dolpins, whales, scenic sunsets and sunrises!

After spending the night at Red Bluff we would make a morning walk. First we found the cache and after we would go up in the hills to see the views from there. We saw some whales and the surfers making some good runs.
TFTC!

On the way North with megawat60, staying a couple of nights at Quobba Station. After visiting Cape Cuvier and the remains of the Korean Star, we pushed on to Red Bluff, where we found not only the cache, but a well kept secret of an amazing place. Thanks so much for placing this cache and bringing us here, and a FP!
Out ‘n about with m4yb getting a few caches.
Wow what a fantastic spot a fav for just showing it to me. Would love to come back and spend some serious time here. The whole west coast is pretty stunning.
Thanks for the hide and Akkedisteam.

Touring from Tasmania and staying at Quobba Station. Drove out to check out Red Cliff. Pretty beautiful. Loved the coral fossils and the little sea cave. Found the cache further up the cliff. Tftc
This is in a great place for camping, pitty we had to get back to Carnarvon.
Logged the cache and returned it to its hiding spot.
Saw people jumping off the cliffs with their surfboards, idiots I think...

An awesome trek out to Red Bluff.
Fantastic surf beach with lots of surfies out there.
Beautiful views of the coastline, whales, dolphins, manta rays and a turtle were spotted on our journey up here.
I reckon I could handle the glamping tents lol.

Nice exploration of an amazing area. A favourite for picking this gorgeous location!
The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 31. After a night at the very remote Red Bluff, I turned south again. Now weather is a problem, the road into Steep Point is closed, so I headed to Denham and Francis Peron NP on Shark Bay.
Things got a bit late last night so this morning I made my way down to the end of the reserve and walked around to the rocky area with GZ. More rocks and I was a bit worried, but without cause. The cache was soon found.
Thanks.

What a cool location. Last part down here was hard, but fun.

Today we drove from Monkey Mia to Carnarvon. We visited the very impressive blowholes and some other sites here. We enjoyed the phantastic weather and a stunning landscape TFTC
Another smiley added here today on our way towards home from a 5 week Kimberley and Pilbara break TFTC
Today we drove from Carnarvon to the Blowholes and light house at Point Quobba. Then on along the Gnaraloo Road to the HMAS Sydney memorial, Quobba Station where we bought an ice-cream, on to Cape Cuvier and the Korean Star Memorial. We then visited the amazing Red Bluff camp site and shop and continued on to the end of the road at Gnaraloo station some 150ks from Carnarvon.
What an epic day, we saw horses, lizards, sheep, emus, snakes, goats, hippies, campers, caravaners, fishermen, surfers and caches. As we retraced our step to Carnarvon we met many other car on their way to their own favorite secret camping & fishing spot somewhere up the Gnaraloo Road.
Thanks for your cache Akkedis all was in good order.

tftc,
Today is day 45 of an adventure that will take me around Australia with a group of trackables as we now head south towards Perth. My caches visited can be tracked by checking out the Key Ring using the code TB4P4C1. The purpose of this note is to visit the trackables travelling with us so that the owners get to learn about this site.
Left from Minilya Bridge roadhouse this morning and wanted to get ourselves up and back along this peninsular today. This was a very special cache and worth the shake up that the van got getting here. The number of surfers out was amazing (20 plus) for a 4ft swell. A local wandered past and I asked him why there was so many. He explained that this is one of the worlds big wave surfs and that yesterday on the tail of a storm the waves were 10-12ft. He also said there was another storm due tomorrow which should bring 16-20ft waves and that is what all the surfers are waiting for.
We thought we would get nearly 12 months of unloved cache here from 26.08.15 but were beaten by a finder on the 10.08.2016. They haven't logged their find on line yet so we will watch the cache and if they don't claim a find claim it claim it ourselves. Left a TB and took a Pathtag. Favorite from me.
As a part of my contribution to helping make the "Easter 2017 Red Centre Experience" GC6825Z a great Event, I will be leaving a card in every cache that is large enough to take it. This card provides a number for a trackable so you can "Discover me". There is also the Web page address "red.ozmega.com.au".
Happy caching

To find this one, it was quite a drive in, on the dirt roads, then to find a park with a van on and then the walk in, expected a higher terrain rating. found with Wazza9. Signed the log and replaced. Thanks to Akkedis
Out and about with pprass and &0thers while on our travels. Having parked the vans at quobba station and checked out the blow hole nearby yesterday. To is was to this very well known surfing spot. You need to be keen to get there and very surprised to see so many campers and non 4 wheeler. It was a quick find as we checked the fishing opportunities. What a wonderful beach and a beautiful day we had here. Thanks for bringing us here
Found at 12:11 PM GAFF1 in the company of xambo4u and &others.
You certainly have to make an effort to get to this bluff, but when you do it is well worth it. We were camped at Quobba Stn and went for a drive up the coast for the day - just wonderful scenery. Arriving at Red Bluff, it was like a little village with tents, caravans and humpies dotted all around. Got to the cache easily enough and then we headed to the point to watch the surfers catch these massive waves. Behind them there was a procession whales and then we were given the local knowledge as to where to fish. So James and p-pprass fished off "Fish Rock" for about 2 hours and fed hundreds of small fish catching just a few and only one to keep.
Thanks Akkedis.

At first, I convinced myself I had to climb to the top. I was happy to be wrong. This is a beautiful place. Thanks for bringing me here. TFTC
Today we drove up to Red Bluff. We didn't see any whales but some Surfers were in the water riding their waves. Easy find! T4TC and greetings from Switzerland!
TFTC and thank you for the great location. Caches like this make it a worthwhile activity. TNLN
This was our 1st cache find in a caching run of 4 Finds & 0 DNFs today.
We found it at 11:20 so this now makes our total find count 7136.
[blue]
We thoroughly enjoyed the drive up from Carnarvon, but the flamin' fierce ferocious flies foiled our fun. They got into our ears, eyes nose and mouth even when we were smothered in repellant!! Carrying several hundred on our backs wasn't much fun either. [xx(]
We rescued a marooned TB that hasn't been logged into the cache.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Around 2 metres).
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Doll.
Grabbed: TB -"Frogs goes to Australia"
Thanks Akkedis for the hunt today.

Finally logging these finds. Came up to Red Bluff for a fish and relax after Helping out at the Gas Dash race in Cascoyne Junction and Carnarvon. Not much fish to brag about but what a great area and a great place to relax.
Took some of the Western Patrol Club to find this one and introduced them to caching.

Found easily after the long drive up from Carnarvon. There had been light rain most of the morning as well as while hunting the cache. Some awesome views as well from time to time. The road up was good but the road in was badly corrugated at times. I noted that the TB had been there for some time so Ipicked it up, otherwise no swaps. SL. Thanks to Akkedis for the cache.
GReat place. WE spent the day there and found curios petrified things in the stone. The coral ist just amazing. Thanks for taking us here with this cache.
