Searched all round the hint object, up, down, under, over, inside and no sign of the cache.
I used my Waston skills and used my ipod to look in a place where i did not fancy sticking my hand (the hint object) but unfortunately sherlock and I had no luck
Found it. A bit of a busy place, but soon had the cache in hand after tying up my boot laces.

There was light rain and a wonderful rainbow to greet us as we searched for this cache. It didn't take long before its hiding place was revealed, thanks mainly to our Junior Dakotacat. An often busy place, there were no muggles about tonight.. maybe the rain had kept them away.
Third time lucky with this one and an easy find that the junior dakotacats had spotted before we were even out of the car. It sure is held on tight!! Cheers guys for the cache.
quick cache while in dunedin and close to subway for lunch. nice quick find. tftc.

Found on the ground in plastic bag not where it should be. Needs maintenance. Sure it would have been awesome find. Returned to a hole to left of bus shelter with weeds covering it.
Finally found this one, hunted for it several times walking past going to and from work but tonight was the winner
Looked in all the holes but one was filled with broken glass which I didn't fancy putting my hand into but couldn't see anything inside.
Had been here before when new to geocaching with no luck. Back today as needed a 'quickie' for our 31 days of geocaching and thought this might be it. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
Had a fair idea what I was looking for but somehow that didn't stop me walking past it - more than once. Great wee hide. TFTC
Both catches securing container lid have broken off. Care is now needed when retrieving and replacing container.
Found on the great post-Mega roadtrip with agcnz, fozzmiester and yeetrees. A great trip from Otago to Wellington, taking in many backroads and some fantastic scenery along to way to over 400 caches. Thanks to all the cache owners for the great caches we found on the way.
Thanks for the cache, us04.

4784. Decided to spend a couple of extra days in Dunedin after the Mega Event. This was day two and the second cache find of the day. Just up the road from our camp site. This one was very easy! Nothing Appeared to be wrong With the container clips when we found/left this. Thanks, Rodney and Iris.

Was in Dunedin to attended the first ever Mega in New Zealand. Managed to work it out so that I was able to team up with -gonefishing-, fozzmiester and agcnz on an 8 day caching trip around the South Island, this was day 4 of the road trip.
After finding GC3JV48 - Fires!!! (Otago), this was the next cache that I had on our list that we needed to find today. As we were making our way into Dunedin and working our way around and pick up a few more caches around the area.
We managed to find a parking spot not too far from GZ and from there it was quick walk to GZ, as we arrived at GZ we managed to find the cache quite quickly, retrieved, signed and replaced it back as found, very quiet at GZ. Thanks us04 for placing this cache here and for bringing us to this spot. TFTC TNLNSL (5106).

Came here with fozzmiester and Yeetrees on a day's caching around Dunedin while here for the MEGA event. Nice hide, but still a quick find iven if it was a little muddy getting to it. I could the tracks left where others had been searching in the wrong place a short distance away, but there were a lot less tracks leading to the actual cache. Signed log, TFTC.
On the way back north from Mega with Kiwi Legend. This was one of the few DNFs for the weekend. The rain didn't help. I could handle caching in the hail but being cold and wet at the same time somehow wasn't as much fun. Maybe next time I'm back I'll try again.
Cache number #199 down south while attending the mega event. To err is human to aaaarrrr is pirate.TFTCSL
Out for our last day in Dunedin. The Mega over, many teams returning home.
Had to wait for ages for muggle teenage boys who were on swings etc. Finally there ride arrived and they departed, in the interim Greg had fossicked around and made an inelegant slide back down the embankment onto his belly.

Second one of the day. Seeing as it had been raining all day, and snowing for a bit too, it was nice to be able to be semi sheltered for some of the looking at this one!!
A pretty easily quick find which was good, though I did almost sip a couple times!! But it wasn't as bad as expected. Then ran into the car for shelter.

My apologies for the lateness of this log.
I'm back in Dunedin for a few days and only now realized I'd missed logging a few found with Rosmar and FMZ on a cache raid during the NZMega event. Seemed like I was a yoyo in and out of the car.... and I missed out on logging a few. Mighta been the run-in with the cops that night! They musta been wondering about all the rental cars and nuts peering in bushes and de-webbing pipes and poles all over town! I think we quit at about 3AM....
Thanks for placing this cache and adding to our fun. It's a player driven game after all. Was fun meeting Aussie catchers at GZ...... RosMar knew them. GeoCaching can be a small world! Rrrrrrrrrr.....

Day 8 of our N Z Mega Event adventure - we awoke to another day just right for caching and sightseeing. We had no difficulty locating the cache and with the log quickly signed, it was now time to jump into our cache mobile to see what other caches we could find for the day. Thank you for having placed the cache us04
A neat little find after attending the CITO Event and before heading out to the Mega Event site to check in. One of the many puzzles that was solved before we headed over from Australia.
Found with fitzy_1965, Winglen, ZsaZsa7 and our NZ caching mate Rextrex on our 8 day trip to NZ for the Mega Event. We visited many areas, found some great caches and had a great time.
Many thanks to all cachers for yet another find in NZ.

Caching our way around the city and suburbs after arriving this morning, 24 hours late but still in time catch some of the mega. At this cache we had to stop and explain to an elderly chap who had been watching the visitors all day. Thanks us04.
Grabbed this one as part of a weeks caching the South Island with SolDelune, RexTrex Mrs Winglen and Fitzy_1965. Racing back to the car I had to explain to a nearby resident what was going on when he raised concerns about the amount of cacher traffic today.
I told him to start yelling out "did you find it?"
Thanks for the cache us04.

A shared find with my Aussie caching mates Winglen, Zsazsa7, Sol de Lune and Fitzy-1965 as a part of the NZMEGA2012 experience and our subsequent tour.
On our way to the 5.30 PM Mega event, so didn't spend too long here - apart from time spent trying to explain to an elderly nearby resident about our 'treasure hunt' that was causing so much recent activity in front of his window.
Thanks us04.

5479 + 591 = 6070. Day 2 of my week long visit to the New Zealand South Island for the NZ Mega 2012 event along with Sol de Lune, Zsazsa7, Winglen and RexTrex.
Now that the group was finally together after some problems with Flights it was time to start some serious caching ! We went for a walk around central Dunedin then attended the CITO. After that was over we headed around town to find some more caches. This was a nice quick find - the time was spent talking to the elderly guy who was slightly concerned at all the 'activity' he had been observing from his window ! Lol.... Thanks us04 !

Out caching again with the Walenators. A fast find by Mr W as the Chief stopped to chat to some other cachers. Wal had the cache located before the Chief joined him! TFTC

RRRRRR! I have several of these containers hidden in various places myself so this was an easy find! Found on 'Caching Sunday' while attending NZMEGA. TFTC
Just about to head back to camp when we realised there was a cache nearby. Got to meet the 5.30 deadline so didn't spend too long here. TFTC
Parked a bit further up Taieri Rd and walked down to the park, finding a treasure trove of rubbish to pick up for the CITO as I went.
I initially started on the wrong level, but soon realised my mistake and didn't take long to find after that. Nice camo. Last cache I had time for before taking my haul of rubbish to the CITO.

Found with Mporokosa under umbrellas. We got a toot from a flag-bearing geocache vehicle when walking back to our similarly identified car. TFTC
Out and about on a MEGA cache raid with Indianna Jill and the FMZ team. We arrived at GZ and were greeted by some fellow cachers that we last met at a MEGA event in Australia. Great hide TFTC.
Today it was just Sully1 and I to grab a few caches and learn and see a bit more of this beautiful town.
Despite the forecast, the weather held up once again, and we had a great day finding some clever and simple hides, but all were a joy to find.
Thanks for this one us04

Found with bogonghazy whilst in town for the Mega Event. We had a great few days caching around Dunedin, and the weather was perfect, even though some places were quite muddy underfoot. My Thanks to the CO for the placement of this cache, and for bringing us here today.
Great way to end the Event weekend: a night time cache just after the rain. Chocochunk's GPSr disagreed with mine, I persevered and we found it!
Found this neat cache on our Blitz of the South Island while here for the mega event.
Many thanks for the cool cache.

Out for the 2nd night in a row caching. Race on for finding between LittleG and The Wanglers for this cache. The rest of us knew we didn't have a chance so stood back and watched the entertainment! 3/15 #71 Mega caches for MacPacMum
Some Aussies had the cache in hand when we arrived at GZ, we just signed and kept on going.

In Company of The Machman travelling from our accommodation in Dunedin to the MEGA.
Didn't take too long to track this one down.
Signed the log and we left MM to replace the cache as we approached the car we looked back to see how far behind us he was and thought we were seeing double!
He had been Sprung by Kiwi Nomad.

Cache not as expected and is a micro - could not be 400ml, could only hold about 100ml (or less) However works well in the location. SL TFTC
Headed out from the Mega site with kiwicampnut, TikvaNZ and The Wanglers to see how many Mega Bingo caches we could find. Met up with LittleG Magic at Taieri Lookout them with justmeg, purdiepurdie and macpacmum. All those eyes were not needed to find this as it was in hand before some got to GZ. Nice container and glad we made the impromtu stop.
As we approached the enemy shores we boarded the raiding vessel and jumped onshore to plunder the booty. Capt'n TW secured the treasure. Arggh, me Hearties!!! Thanks for th' bootie. Luv'ly treasure chest.

Found as part of the NZ Mega 2012 weekend
Pretty funny story - always great to properly read the cache descriptions when you get to writing out the logs.. !
Part of a night time run, we found this one quite quickly - I think pirates may have stole some of that 400ml payload from your container though.... RRRRRRRR

Found with The Wanglers, La Vista, RuruNZ, Purdie Purdie, Macpacmum, JustMeG, Little G Magic and me. By this stage the tide was running and a trip to the Head was needed by one of the raiding party who shall remain nameless. Just as well there were some available round the corner so to speak.
546 Found on a second night out caching with a group of Christchurch friends. TFTC
Another great find on the Emvy_Us / Waiiti20 mega tour of the Southern South Island. Nice camo. TFTC
After a really busy day of socialising, fun activities, GC skills courses, hiking in the mountains ... a group of Chch cachers decided the evening activity would be cache cruising. After dinner, transportation algorithms activated, off we went .... Canterbury (K)night Crusaders on the holy grail of Dunedin caches. Battle plan - to get bingo stamp of approvals & any in its way, then take on dedicated night caches, Dark (K)night caches? Of course, pirates won't get in our way either!
