Unfortunately I have had to archive this cache as I no longer live in the area.

Did not find jjjml had found it last time but when we tried to find it with them it wasn't there.

Unfortunately it looks like the cache has been muggled
I am away at the moment but will replace it as soon as possible.

Didnt find, think it may have been moved... Please check.

Easy peasy

We stopped here for a comfort stop while travelling South and turned the GPS on, just in case. . Yippee a cache 42M away. Made the quick find and sign and we were on our way.

Have checked cache location & all is well. Cache is in correct location & hasn't been muggled. Will replace the log the next time I am driving by.

Found by the Marshmans. The mustang trackable was not present but we dropped off the Brass Monkey who was very pleased to be in a warmer climate. TFTC.

Driving to Mackay from Townsville and stopped into Proserpine for a quick bite to eat at the nearby bakery. After a feed, I walked over to the deserted park and started my search. Within seconds, I had the prize in hand. TFTC Roaminfree. TNLN. SL. {#503}.

... just a quick trip up to Airlie to catch up with friends for the night.
I have tried to have a go at this one a few times on our numerous drives past.
but the park and facilities are usually too full of muggles for me to bother.
no one around today ...
because it was actually bucketing down with rain
worked out where it would be, waited a little bit, ran out and retrieved cache
retreated to the cover provided to sign the log
then ran back out and re-stashed
by now I was absolutely soaked anyway, so strolled back to the car
then towelled off before heading on our way

Once again Geoferal No5 found this one by what he said was "lucky looking coz the gps was lying to me!" Lol have taken and logged the trackable wheels. Geoferal No 5 wanted to take it for a drive up the road to a new spot. He thinks trackables are cool but also it sux coz he cant keep it!! TFTF

Very soon we’re reaching the Northest point of our East Coast road trip: Whitsundays! We stopped in Proserpine and tried to find a WIFI but the library was closed already. Oh well, let’s log a cache instead The park was nice. The cache itself was an easy find – nice to see a big box for a while! Too bad there weren’t any travel bugs… hope someone has just taken them and will log them later. We thought for a second or two if we dare to leave one brand new Finnish one ("Firebird Turbo" Travel Bug) there but decided to give a change. Please take it far with you and remember to log it! A hot day today. The apparent temperature was 38.8°c in Prossy when we nabbed the cache. Thanks hiding the cache Roaminfree and for giving us an excuse to stop in this lovely park. Found with JuniorSeeker7.

A popular park next to the Woolies and we had to evade the numerous muggles to find this one. Unfortunately there was no HotWheelz TB in the cache so I hope it hasn't gone missing already. I think the cache has been visited a couple of days ago and it looks like it hasn't been logged yet so hopefully they've got it.

Travelling today from a work do in Airlie Beach down to Rockhampton. Decided to give myself just 15 mins to find it. Trying to look innocent while the Mower Man drove around me was a bit hard! GPS took me right there and got it in its hiding spot. Great little park.

Our first geocache! Very excited to find it with Miss 5 and Miss 3. Miss 5 observed that lots of boys must do geocaching as not many "girly" items in the cache. Took bug tracker & wooden crab, left polished quartz and homemade pipecleaner spider

We stopped at this park on our way south a few weeks back but didn't attempt it due to all of the muggles. Pulled up again this morning on our way back home to cairns. Only a few muggles about. The cache was right where I expected it to be but due to its great hiding spot, took me a few more minutes than it should have. Cache in hand, quickly signed log and dropped a Hot_wheelz trackable. I was in Proserpine for work and was looking to get a cache each day i was away so I would keep my "cache a day" streak going. With only one cache in town my plan had been to collect a cache in Mackay this morning and leave this one until tomorrow...but I missed finding the cache this morning. That left with no option than to come after this cache if I was going to keep my streak running.

So after finishing work for the day I made my way over to the park. It didn't take too long to work out where GZ was and, with that, where the cache was likely to be. With an eye on some muggles on the far side of the park, I made a grab for the cache. Once in hand, I signed the log...quite relieved that my streak was still alive.

North Qld 2013. Day 34 Cairns to Proserpine. It was plenty dark but I took the opportunity to look in an empty park. I am sure I have found a cache in this spot before, maybe I missed a log. Thanks.

Today I returned for my second 'P'

Relieved, I set about looking for a cache
Today the spot that surely hid GZ was muggle free !!
So I sauntered over and took a seat
I was still in full muggle view from all sides though [:o]

Some surreptitious poking and groping revealed the cache hide.
I didn't bring the container out into the open, but kept playing with the Idiot Phone while I undid the lid and extracted the logbook for signing
Oooooh !! Stealth !!! Love it

A bit later and still surrounded by muggles I had rehid the cache and set off across the park to find the geomobile again
But not before dropping "KaScoRo and Team's Gingerbread Geocoin" in rhe cache

What a lovely park and a nice quick find. Used a stick to check the hiding spot and was quickly rewarded with the sound of plastic. Then drove around and checked out the town which was very quiet on a Sunday afternoon. Thanks.

Found at 12:00 PM GAFF1. We didn't find it straight away as we couldn't put our hands in all the way as there were muggles all over the place. However we then found that if we went round the back we were somewhat obscured by the tree branch and could just lean over and do the deed. No TB's which we suppose is just as well if the container keeps being muggled - so maybe it shouldn't be called a TB Motel!

Cache has been muggled again Have replaced it. If it happens again will find a new home for it in the park.

I will check the location of the geocache on Tuesday 9/7 & see if it has been muggled.

I'm pretty sure that I was looking in the right spot. There is really only one place to hide a cache but there was nothing there.

1400 - Day trip from Bowen to check out Airlie Beach after 5 years absence with a little detour. Kwik stop for a kwik find to pick up this little treasure. very busy area 2day, but managed to act 'innocent' and not attract any attention. all safe and sound. +/-0. T4TC.

the little park is beautifully maintained and has great facilities.
no rain, no muggles nearby, perfect conditions for a successful hunt

At last the rain had stopped the muggles had disappeared and the cache had returned.

A new cache is now in place & ready for use. Please replace in the same spot so it is is hard for muggles to reach.

Wish I had read the logs before I headed out to do the cache. But as I had loaded the caches before I left the U.S., I didn't have the most recent updates. Still, it gave me a good laugh. I jabbed a stick into the spot where I thought the cache might be and all of a sudden this angry looking frog came hopping out and just sat there staring at me as if to say, "do you mind!!!" He looked so indignant that after he went back in his hole, I couldn't resist doing it again (more gently this time). I doubt I will pass this way again, but I'll always remember that frog and where I think the cache used to be. I don't think he was large enough to be accused of muggling.
