Logs
Found the nook where the cache should be, but only a small toy remains. Cache container and log book are missing.
A quick find after parking close by the 'bus stop' and walking back. The road has just been graded and is very smooth, dry and dusty at the moment. SL, No swaps, L: Czech Republic Flag Tag TB. Thanks to leenan for the cache.
We love it when geocaching takes us to these little off the main track spots. Excellent hiding spot leenan. Quick find for us today. TFTC
On the tpurist trail we picked this one up on the way to the soap factory, thanks leenan, all in good order here.
Found at 1640 on the way back into Walpole after climbing Mount Frankland. A good size container which took some extracting.
Thanks leenan.
Thanks leenan.
On the way back to where we were staying at the Peaceful Bay Chalets after visiting Mt Franklin and getting what caches I can before it get's too dark.
Must admit I used the clue to find this one in what is a very snug fit.
Took the dinosaur footprint stamps for the kids and dropped 1938 and 1953 half penny coins in their place.

Found it. It is a really snug fit. Rather annoyingly my GPS was pointing me directly to the middle of the clear area, so took me a while to narrow it down, but a nice hide.
What a nice hiding place! We first looked at the wrong place, saw snakes, and our gps was giving troubles because of the powerlines, but we managed!

After observation of the "object" from behind, we made a quick find. Nice hide. TFTC
A quick find while spending a few days around Walpole. It has got many great places for exploring. We loved thought and work that went into making this cache.

What a fantastic cache! It's out of the way, and we weren't expecting much, but were we ever surprised! What a great hint this has too! Joy all round, and we spent some time duly admiring the hide. This gets a well deserved favourite point from us, and hopefully other geocachers will go out of their way to visit and enjoy this too. Thank you very much for the effort that went into making this!
Great cache. Glad for a fast find as the March flies were out in force trying to drain a couple of liters of my blood!
Ohh, I like this one! Very skilfully and neatly done. Certainly different from the usual run-of -the-mill, and deserving of a Favourite point from me! Perhaps not exactly a camo; it rather leaps out at you, but one to bring an appreciative smile to the chops.
After leaving Walpole realised that I misplaced a plastic bag containing a couple of caching tools, a pathtag and some caching stickers (actually found another cachers stickers here which I put in the bag with mine). Left at either this cache or Swarbrick Forest Art. Would appreciate next cacher contacting me if they find it - thanks.
Great hide! Got a little excited at the new log book, but this cache has been here for some time!
If we ever get to Finland we now know what "kanto" means. We are glad you like the Australian bush as much as we do. Very clever construction - certainly the first one of its type we have ever seen. Lots of fun, thanks leenan. Kiitos kätköstä!
Took us a little while to find it as we lost signal. Thanks for a sneaky hide and great scenery.
First of all what an amazing cache! I love it.
My first attempt to find the cache was not planned and as such i was wearing thongs, something i rarely do. I jumped out of the car for a quick look.
WARNING THIS MAY SPOIL PART OF THE FIND!
One of the tree stumps i got on top of to have a look a happened to be home to an angry nest of bull ants. I unknowingly stepped right on to them, so please please please be careful and save yourself the pain, have a look before you step!!

Last cache on the way "home" to our camp at Fernhook Falls.Loved it! Have not seen anything quite like it. Well done! Took the Ape microcoin. TFTC. Have given a favourite
Nice spot, spent ages trying to get it out until someone spotted how it should be extracted! As Homer would say 'Doh'! Needs maintenance urgently!

Found by Thrunobulax and I - an ingeniously hidden cache, but I am afraid it was all rather wet. We emptied the water out of the bag and tried to dry out the case. Luckily the inner bag with the log was still dry.
An easy find but a tricky way of hidding the cache. Good one. Deserves a favorite point
A well constructed hide but today it was very hard to extract maybe the recent wet weather had something to do with it.
Thanks leenan

Great bit of fun and well worth the drive out. Such lovely country. Built by clever people, judging from the cache!
Thank you for a beautifully and thoughtfully crafted cache. What a great hide, even a handle to open it! This is what makes caching such a joy. TFTC
“Kanto”, not sure what the name means, but a very clever, interesting cache that you have to see to appreciate. Walked past it the first time oblivious to the hide, but found easily after getting the glasses out to read the hint. One that will get some favourite points!
A quick revisit with fellow geocachers, AlbCasey's to drop off TB, Wally the Wombat as this hide will make a great resting spot for Wally before he heads off on the next leg of his journey!
Great hide - fun with fellow geocachers ShoalWaterSearchers and muggle friends. Great hide - thanks for hint!
nice hide - after a staying in the australian wilderness - this was a nice cache

What a clever idea we were staring at the obvious until it slowly dawned on us where it was. found by team Tingle tree. Many cockroaches have made their home around your cache but not in it, still water tight in the plastic. left a small plastic dog and took a small plastic whistle. We filled in your log book and returned cache as found.
Looking at the description and previous logs I figured out what it was but I HAD to go there to confirm. Nice one.
We just love these clever caches. The people who think them up have got great imaginations. Thanks for the challenge, it took us a few minutes after locating GZ to figure out how to access the cache.

PS The bus shelter reminded us of the little huts used in Gippsland for the Cream pick-ups in the days before refridgerated milk tankers. Could this be a cream shelter rather than a bus shelter?

Well this has to have been the noisest cache to make!!!! And it is brilliant!!!! Had us going for a while and when we finally found the secret, we waited for the rustling in the undergrowth to move off. Grabbed a couple of TB's and left some jelly pencil grips. TFTC
NOTE TO FUTURE FINDERS; Please do not attempt to retrieve this cache from the top. When we went to the hiding place, we saw the plastic covering the cache had been exposed from the top. We (wrongly) thought the cache was smallish and had been wedged into the hole from the top and that the wood had expanded to envelope the cache making it impossible for us (and others) to retrieve. After digging around the top for 20 min we found the real way in and we feel AWFUL! We are quite conscientious cachers and would not purposely destroy a cache! Perhaps a note saying the cache is HUGE! or a hint relating to a 'back door' would have saved the needless destruction.
We also only saw one signature in the log book other than ours.
In all, a great cache and fantastic effort. TFTC

When we first found the cache I claimed "that can't be it, there's no way it moves". But after not finding anything else we spent some time trying to retrieve an ammo-can through a hole the size of my hand, thinking it was just stuck since everything was wet.
Taking the tunnel vision blinders off sometime later saying, "there must be a different way of doing this", we found the correct way of retrieving.
