WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 49 - Bunbury Day 1. I headed out on my scooter to do a morning of caches near the caravan park and along the fore shore to the port. I still had enough charge to get into town and along the river to have a look for a few caches there too. The afternoon was in the car, and I got a bit more coastal. As far as caching itself went, it was a really u and down day. Several caches that had been not found before I also failed at, but some that had no DNFs I also could not find. I managed to do quite a few Lab as well before stopping caching and doing some shopping and a car chore.I had come past here in the morning, but there was a person resting right at the spot I needed to be. This afternoon, in between dogs and their followers, I was able to take the spot and peer around until I worked out where it had to be. When there was a good gap, I was in and it was there. Signed and returned. That is enough for today. Time to try and work out what I did wrong on all those other multis. Thanks for the cache dimor47710.12 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2015 24 Hours 150 Caches A#318**Albida**
Found it after a short waiting time cause of muggles. Visited Bunbary today. Tftc
Drove down to Bunbury for the day to do some caching and check out the sights, had a great day and ended up doing a 25km walk around town collecting geos and ALs, probably did a lot of circles of the same areas of town! Not many muggles around considering it was a lovely Spring Sunday afternoon but we did have to wait out an older fella who was looking at us suspiciously as this was next to someones house, once we explained about our crazy hobby he bid us a fond happy hunting and we soon had the prize in hand exactly where GZ was saying to look!Thank you baffle/dimor for placing and maintaining Boating for us and others to find and enjoy!
DNF solved ! Literally the first place I checked, dunno how I missed it last time. Sometimes all you need are fresh eyes, different angle of approach, and new experience. Thanks for the cache! ️
Logging as a DNF for now, gonna give it a better shot when there’s fewer muggles around
TFTC, have spent a chilly afternoon wandering around Bunbury searching for caches, this was a nice sneaky little hide
Still contemplating the labyrinth of life when we found this treasures. Replaced the plastic bag which was broken in two. TFTC
A fresh morning with a brisk walk & almost brushed passed it. Great view too

Today we had big plans. The rain had other ideas. So we ended up going to the movies and watched a quite funny action movie. Afterwards though we still needed to get a couple of geocaches; with the rain still falling.
We settled on a couple of close geocaches, and this was to be the first of them. We found the parking area, which had only one other car there. I headed out into the rain and as I approached GZ I saw where it quite possibly lay. I confirmed my suspicions and had the cache in hand in not time. Back to the car I head to do the signing. Another venture into the rain had it back in place. All the while the occupant of the other car did not lift their head from whatever they were reading.

In Bunbury for WAGB 2022, my last day. Giving the geopup a chance to stretch her legs. A very brisk morning so we made our way to the next cache, found, signed and returned TFTC
Find 16 of 44 with 4 DNFs on a full day of bike riding around Bunbury for WAGB2022.
All good here.
TFTC dimor!

Not much to choose from at GZ so a quick find was made. Was a little worried when walking up that I'd have to go down the driveway! TFTC ??
Down in Bunbury for the day. Made a few finds along our way. Quick find here. Thanks for the hide
Headed down to Bunbury to grab some accessories for the grocery mobile and grabbed a few newer ones on the way down.
A couple of quick finds today.
Many thanks to dimor for placing and maintaining Boating. We were here at 9:54 am on Saturday and this is my find 9166.

Out for our afternoon stroll, quick find at the GZ on a beautiful afternoon, TFTC baffle & dimor!
Quickly found and log signed, just had to wait a bit for a gap in people activity to return, TFTC
Out to grab a few with my muggle Aunty who very happily found this one herself. Thanks for placing and maintaining this for our enjoyment
Quick cache whilst stopped off for a bite to eat. Loads of muggles on a gorgeous winters day!
It was too nice a day not to go for a walk and do some geocaching along the way.
This was in the spot I first thought it might be but I looked around anyway. Stealth is definitely required.

Stood back and checked out the area. Spotted where we thought it could be and quickly had it in hand.
We decided to head out early to do a bit of caching before the heat of the day.
TFTC baffle this is find # 9030 for us.

Today I was out for a windy GC-tour through a part of Bunbury, along Koombana bay and round Leschenault Inlet.
At GZ I sat down and asked myself „where would you place a cache here?“ - Bingo ! TFTC!

Well, another month rolls around and it’s time for another big day trip towards the south. We are slowly clearing the map around the Bunbury area and headed to this area once again to clear a few more green dots! This cache was one we targeted for the day (mainly looking for park and grab types today). Cheers and TFTC.

I don‘t know why but we could‘t find it. At the coordinate point there was no metal for a magnetic cache. We were looking around a little distant in the Off, but nothing.
pug002 found it 26/10/2017 on our trip to Bunbury for our square dance festival. Woke up and thought wow we won't be doing much geocaching today, rainy and windy. Well the sun came out and off we went to try and do as many as we could. TFTC baffle
