My nongeocaching hubby and I were invited to spend 4 days in DC with my son and daughter-in-law who was going there to attend a convention. I've been to DC a few times but that was before caching so caching was my mission for this trip. Thanks for bringing us here.
We found this one while on a visit to the Frederick Douglass museum. This is a very interesting item. I wonder why it is located in this area. Thanks for keeping this cache alive!
Only had a day in DC, but took a slight detour on the way to the National Mall to get this one. Love seeing weird stuff like this. E-mail answers on the way.
TFTC.

Found with sant74 while caching around the DC area. Thanks for placing and maintaining the cache. Who would think this chair would be in this neighborhood?!

On the eighth day of our trip from Canada, we got up very early to spend the day biking in Washington. The weather was great and the cherry trees were
blooming. While biking around, we found several caches, including 25 virtual and 2 earthcaches. After our day, we headed back toward Zombie Land to pick up
a few additional caches from the Zombie series.
We really enjoyed all those virtual caches that enabled us to visit very interesting places. Our answers have been sent to the CO. A favourite point is
awarded for the cache.
Thanks for this nice virtual cache and for giving us the opportunity to get out and do our favourite hobby.

Found with HBee1214, Random Meister, & Superkids100. TNLN. It was hard to get a good pic at first but I managed. This was our 1st DC cache! I E-mailed the CO our group answers already.
We drove from CT to FL (round trip) with visits in NJ & VA. This was find #1 of 90 on the trip.

Spent four days in the Washington DC area with Laura (no name) and a bunch of eighth graders during their annual trip. Got to see a lot of interesting and unique sights along the way. The virtual and earth caches really helped to amplify the experience. The kids helped out with some of the answers, so it was a learning experience for them as well. Thanks to all cache owners that took the time to create these pages. TFTC
Another 8th grade trip but this time BW got to come with. Usually we don't get to focus on a lot of geocaches but with another person and someone enthusiastic about caching we could spend some time getting these unique virtuals and earthcaches. And the kids helped! (Sorry I am so late in logging - I am horrible at this. BW emailed answers for both of us a month ago.) TFTC
Wow! Paul Bunyan would love it! People were friendly but I am not coming back after dark! Thanks for the Virtual. Will send answer.
Fifth and final cache found of the day. I was driving so close to this one on 295 not to exit and give it a quick look. It was after dark, but not too late (6:30 PM or so) and the area seemed fine to me. Cool monument! I took some pictures while there. I'll see if I have a non-spoiler picture that I can post when I'm able. Thanks for keeping this virtual going!
Found after work before grabbing some dinner. Very cool landmark but agree not for night events. TFTC!
Finally made time to come by and see this unique sight. Very fun and noteworthy. Thank you for creating and maintaining this cache.
Don't know how anyone could miss this unique sight unless he were blind. Most interesting part of the city and thanks for bringing me here. Found with CC76 on our way to DE. TFTC!
Wanted to be sure to stop by here! Wow !! Email to follow! Thanks for bringing us here!
#473. Found today after visiting Fort McNair and some of the DC "Hidden" artwork series caches. Wanted to get this one before heading back to Fort Belvoir. TFTC! CC76... [:0)]

MuseOfIdiots and I grabbed a seat as our first find in DC while here for They Might Be Giants at the 9:30 Club. TFTVC and souvenir on our 511th consecutive day of Geocaching!
Found with TeeDeeKay. What a cool spot! I would feel like a king if I owned one of these! My only picture reveals the item so I won't post it. The email is forthcoming. This was our first DC cache on our 511 consecutive day with at least 1 find. TFTVirtualC and for the souvenir! The Muse has spoken. A fave point from me!
We enjoyed finding this fun virtual cache. We are emailing the required answers to you. Thanks for designing this virtual cache to bring us to this area.
I believe this would even have been a little too big for Lily Tomlin. Thanks for sending us to this unusual site.
Visiting the D.C. area from Spokane Valley, WA for a week. There it was bigger than life. Answers already sent. TFT!
I am in the area from Savannah Georgia for work and of course I remembered my G P S'r so that I could feed this addition of Geo Caching. The coordinates for this cache were accurate and it did not take me too long to have the needed information or log in hand, depending on the type of cache. Thanks for putting this together and for bringing me to this area.
I came into the area for the weekend to keep the streak alive and visit friends. It is always nice to be in fresh geo caching territory turning icons in to smiles! Interesting spot for some art.
