Watercare workers were busy nearby replacing a pump and took no notice of me as I wandered up to gz. The cache was obviously missing so I replaced with a camo pill bottle to keep this cache alive and have notified the CO.
Decided on a trip to the wild west- following the storm. Had a comprehensive look around GZ and the previously mentioned hiding spot thoroughly combed but no cache to be found. Likely missing as it appears to be a very easy find.
First cache of the day. Before started didn`t know which way to do up or down. Reading previous logs helps. TFTC
#2345 Parked just near the boat ramp. Sign said water is not safe for any water sports. Cache was a quick find in its hiding hole. TFBMH.
Trying to get rid of some dot days today so I can maybe write off one month finally from the list. Up in Auckland this week to do a bit of work and see the family so a perfect time to knock off some caches out in the Titirangi bush. Thankfully the weather behaved today so off I went to find the lost treasure of Mary Hyde. Or a part there off.
Needed to find another trad today and this seemed like as good a spot as any. Was a bit worried that the guy at the bottom of the boat ramp photographing his car (why I don’t know) would be in the way, but I soon saw that the way to GZ was up, not down. Never knew this little park existed. Very isolated and very quiet. Certainly, a spot that I’ll keep in mind for future outings. Cache was easy to find in the end and while it felt a little out in the open to grab it with a few houses overlooking the GZ the hide location makes for a good shield. Wonder why some one has tried to set it on fire in the past, very random. Thanks for the cache and for taking me to this spot.

Out trying to find a beach for the junior dispatchers to fly their kites but not enough beach to do anything with during high tide great little park though! Tnlnsl tftc!
Walk with our parents, showing them this beautiful place and how can a road end up in water, when its right tide. had no trouble in finding this one. tftc.
Last time I was at this reserve was August 2002 - Yup, Been a while. Cache soon in hand, and stashed again. TFTC
A cool first geocache to find, we walked past it a few times before we got it
Quick find in an obvious place. Never been to this park before. Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC
If you head down to the water you've gone to far. Nice little spot on a drizzly day.
Cool spot nice walk around the beach to gz tftc

I was out this way for an end-of-cricket-season BBQ for the junior cacher, so we took the opportunity to go for a find. Tide was right in, and the boat ramp in use, but we were left to ourselves for hunt. Quick find. #Tftc
Cool find. Was worried when we first arrived, to see tide right up to banks, but wasn't a problem. Tftc
#345. This one (at another Titirangi road end...) needed a bit of stealth as two people were sunbathing on the grass nearby. Time spent pulling out and putting away camera from daypack hopefully covered up the cache extraction and then the return. TFTC
Dropped in after work to get this one. This is a great spot, I sometime launch my kayak from here.
I used to live around and came many times to this beach but I never went to this small park. Tftc
Nice spot. Tb has gone though. May have been muggled cause the notepad was left out. A little wet so i put it all back together. Thanks
Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
Little walk up to GZ, but quickly found. Lovely part of the Manukau never visited before. Thanks again for the hide.

Took in the views, and then walked down the boat ramp onto the beach. The Manukau is looking its best today. Had to be taken to the reserve by a road worker, they had machinery pulling up the old tarmac so they needed the high viz and hard hats to walk me thru. This should take 3 days for the tarseal to be replaced. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.
Easy cache at night, good hiding spot, that's a steep hill driving out of here!
Took my shoes off to enjoy the beach and got talking to some local fishermen. (Really does drinking mix well with boats?) Quick find of cache.
First beach stop on a beach hopping day to scout out potential wedding photoshoot locations
Very quick find! Probably found quicker than anyone else without the use of GPS...just saying...Titirangi hunters....TFTC had a cool little explore around the rocks while in the area.
Found quickly, good little hiding place and easy find for the younger Geocachers. Nice spot too.
Out and about with 10centnz. Some great spots at GZ, something looked a bit odd though!
The prominent feature at GZ had many places where a cache could be concealed. However we soon spotted something that looked not quite normal. A brief examination soon proved we had hit the jackpot.
Only our second attempt at geocaching so maybe it was us. Had a good look round but couldn't find it.
I was in the area so decided to check out a few caches before it was time to head for the airport and home. Nice hide here... Well hidden but quite easy to spot. TFTC, Biggles.
First we sat for a while on the bench to see a boot leaving and then went for the cache. Easy find, sure a nice location for a cache
What a nice serene spot this is, especially on a day like today with no wind and the sun shining.
In: Geocoin.
Cheers for the cache.

a bit slippery due to all the rain, but we managed it. dropped off a lighthouse TB so it can keep watch over the peninsular. great TB and great cache. tftc
Had not been watching the distance counting down on the GPS so we came around the corner in the dark and screeched to a halt just before the road went straight into the sea. What an odd bit of roading, indeed! Anyway, carefully made our way up the oversaturated slope and made a very quick find at GZ in the cacher-obvious spot. Found with lostcourse. TFTC!!!
Took a quick detour to this cache after getting a FTF on a nearby cache with FMZ. Yes, FMZ is right, we came around the corner saw some ducks on the "road" and then the sea (high tide I suspect) immediately behind them! No real danger of driving into the drink but it was something of a surprise! We made our way up the saturated slope, treading very carefully, and made a quick find of the cache in the obvious spot. Cheers for the placement!
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We decided to spend the day knocking off a few more caches out west.
After collecting the caches along the NW motorway cycleway, we headed out to New Lynn then on to Titirangi, collecting some caches along the way.
A nice hidey-hole for a cache in a nice spot.
TFTC!

Out this way to make the most of my day-off with the family. Enjoyed the views here and made a quick find.
