Straightforward find and the first of many drive bys as I made my way back to SW Scotlandfrom Llanberis via Betws and Llanwrst. No nettles - yay!
We spend our summer holidays in North Wales and of course we found some time for GC.
Today we visited Llanberis.
This Cache we found quick.
Thanks for hiding and maintaining this Cache.

4/12 We are hoping to head up Snowdon today and when we arrived at the carpark at 10.00 we were told that the next train being booked was 15.30! By the time we parked the (C)achers (R)esponse (V)ehicle and got over the road to the ticket office our train was 16.00 [:o]
Never mind, we have caches loaded in the Oregon
Our parking ticket allows us to come and go as we are not on a train until later, so we decided to head out a bit and find some other nearby caches.
So we did this one as a drive-by.
It was a QEF. The log needs some attention on this one.

Hubby dropped me off whilst he turned round. A nice quick find. Unfortunately the bonus info was illegible. TFTC
Only a few meters away from our hotel in Llanberis we found this one on our walk to Dolbadarn castle.

After a day visiting and caching in Llanberis, we were walking along the road looking for some place to spend the night when we saw that this cache was close by. Some stealth was required as there were cars passing often, but we found it and grabbed it. After we'd signed the cache we were approached by a woman and boy looking for a way to get to the castle, so we told them where the path was. We had already visited the castle earlier in the day and it was beautiful, well worth a visit. Thanks for the cache!
Found on the way back to Pen-y-Gwryd, after visiting Llanberis for the day. An easy find. TFTC
Hahahaha must have just missed you! Field notes say I grabbed this exactly 1 hour later I was wondering at the time with the nice new log. Nice little castle but as I was hiking up Snowdon... the hard way... I didnt have time to explore as I was already late! (Yet couldnt resist a quick Drive By )

I saw the last DNF and took some plastic bags with me to do some tidying up but was'nt prepared for what I saw. (See photos)
I spent quite some time walking up and down clearing the rubbish and then began a search for the cache and like the last visitor saw the pillars but none with nettles nearby and also saw nettles without any pillars nearby.
In the middle of my search I was asked by a man standing on the other side of the wall what I was doing - he turned out to be the man who rents the land and keeps sheep there. As this is the middle of the lambing season he was concerned that I might have had a dog with me and that I'd let it run loose.
I explained to him that I had seen the rubbish there and had some plastic bags with me so I was collecting what I could to take away with me.
He turned out to be a council employee who's job was to go around collecting rubbish 'fly-tipped' in the area and he told me he was working tomorrow and would collect it and take it to the council tip / recycling plant.
Back to the search - I searched again in every nook and cranny along the base of the wall and behind all the fenceposts but failed to find the container - I think it may have gone.

Busy going through my GSAK database and updating caches I haven't sent a log for. Have been using GSAK to keep tabs on my finds. Thanks to the cache owners for the caches. Working my way through those caches that require emails with answers.
Explored the nearby castle , took lots of photos of it with the landscape, then walked to this cache. Thanks for taking me here. TFTC Monster Boo!
