Unfortunately I don't think it is going to be possible to replace this, so archiving.
If anybody is heading out this way soon, I'd be very grateful if you could contact me in advance (email me via my momepage). Thanks.
Visited the site on 11, Feb. This was just after a huge rain. Cache didn't appear to be there.
Please give me credit for this as it is my only time in NZ and I want to log a new country.

Was there yesterday - no find. Downloaded spoiler picture today, but that didn't help either. Couldn't find it although I am sure that I was at the right place. [:-(]

Scrambled around GZ in bucketing rain. Searched all the nocks and crannies and alos the spot as per the spoiler pictures but unable to find. Whilst sad to miss this cache at least got to experience first hand Westland downpours.
I am back from holiday, so I logged this cache so late. And I can say: On this day the cache was still there but the water of the river was very close. It is amazing how the water line differs between two days, only because of the rain.

The coordinates were showing to place approx. 10 m far. But thanks the hint we found it. Thanks.
After the massive flooding in the whole New Zealand South Island yesterday, I was quite happy to find that cache today! Much water in the river, but sunny weather.
The water was very high and fast flowing today, so we were glad we didn't have to go near it! Loud under the bridge when vehicles went over. Cache found just where it should be. Thanks for another great cache location. SL. TFTC.
Nice hide.. Stopped for a look at the fast flowing river after the rains SL TFTC cheers from Australia
Did this in the evening before a Glacier Hike. The river was very nice to watch . TFTC
The plan was a fly to Mt. Cook. But the weather was to bad. Thats why I search this cache. Very nice.

1st cache of the day. I forgot to download the coordinates at home, so used the free internet at the Landing Bar Restaurant Franz Josef, while having lunch. TFTC
[Quite a structure with a beautiful view of a really interesting church]
Fantastically terrifying to be under when the boulder-filled trucks pass overhead!

Sometimes Lucky Penny and I found it while enjoying our 3 week holiday in New Zealand. The hint was useful because the GPSr was point to a large pile of rocks 10 meters away. Too bad WAAS isn't available in New Zealand. It would improve the accuracy to around 3 meters. Thanks for the Fun.
Found this on our holiday trip through NZ.

Nice easy find and a great example of a Bailey. Made even sweeter by bagging this one after a AWESOME heli-hike this morning on the Franz Josef glacier. What a wonderful place! SL TFTC
A bit noisy under here when a truck goes across, but that is what we geo chasers have to go through. TFTH
Found with Ariestiger and Mum on the way to Fox Glacier. 7/15 for the day. A quick easy find. A bit scary when cars are crossing the bridge as they dont slow down that much. TFTC
