As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

No sign of owner maintenance. It has been out of action for a very long time. Its time for this to go.

Walked past here last evening and poked my nose in where it should be and only found what previous log noted. It looks like this may need a new final location to avoid being muggled again.

Definitely muggled.. Arrived at GZ with anjwirihana and all that remained at coords was the geocache label/sticker from container.

Cache may need checking on, as it wasn't where we think it should have been.

Located and found all the missing numbers we needed, put them into our GPS then off to GZ. Arrive at ground zero and had a good search, but we only found an old geocaching sticker. May be muggled?

#5042. Enjoyed walking around the park today. Plenty of folks around, but fortunately GZ was quiet. Cache and contents in excellent condition. TNLNSL. TFTC.

Am enjoyable walk about the park to get the numbers, just missed the incoming rain.

We have been to memorial park quite a-lot of times so we knew some of the things there, and how much they were, like the train rides. When we were little we used to love going on the trains! And every time we went there we would ask if we could go on them. Sometimes it would be a yes and sometimes it would be a no. You could imagine how much we liked it! TFTC! With help from nzkites.

Out for the day with one member of The Brown Treasures, trying our hand at some multis.
We enjoyed our walk around the park and found the answers quickly. Unfortunately we had just located the cache when it started to rain so we all got rather wet before we could make it back to the car!! Cache and contents all dry. TFTC!

Finally found time to do this one. It was a good time to check the progress of the miniature railway. It was a walk in the park - an enjoyable one. Was nice to find a well stocked cache. I felt compelled to swap out a few items with my stash. Out goes Whoopee and playing cards and in goes Tigger, Rubber Ducky and another metal pin thingy. Thanks for bringing me here. <(ツ))))>

Busy in the park today . Have replaced container and covered well. Still close against wall.

Just found this and it seems to have been muggled earlier this morning maybe? We found the log book and some contents on the ground. Log book was beside the plastic bag, also a foam bullet and silver pencil sharpener scattered on the ground beside it. No sign of container but log book bone dry so i am guessing someone had just done it earlier today given that we had rain yesterday and overnight. We put log back in bag but had no container big enough for it. Covered it with a big leaf jst behind the wall but needs a container asap.

Needs new container. This cache seems to have been muggled.

Stopped by Memorial Park to do this one and Hanging About. This one was easier. Found all the answers although we went to the wrong memorial to start with so added considerable time and distance but found the right one then back across the park to find the cache.

After a bit of hunting and a very strange look from an elderly passing muggle, who crept up on us unawares and who looked at us as though we were just slightly mad Mr S spotted the cache. Well hidden, but no TB in there.

This is a great park and the train in particular makes Mrs S want a ride.

An easy find but very difficult to read red on black instuctions on mobile.

A SUnday morning trip to the park for a play with the girls and Charlie whilst Mrs went to the supermarket...a couple of rides on the train, scooter around, playground and the go find this.....the price of a round of gold has gone up a $ I think.......Cache quickly in hand on our way out of the park.

Hmmm Last year (yesterday hahaha) I looked for this cache, but there were people at the barbeque area, so left it as we were staying overnight in the campervan anyway.
So this year (today 2013) I went for a early look. Noone at the barbequeplace, as also no cache.hmmm read and read and read......So I found the cache in the right spot.

Great cache! Have surmised that one of the prices has changed also, didn't take us long to figure out cache location. Took TB. TFTC! Lovely park and location for our weekend Tauranga visit.

Clues all updated so should now be current & correct.

Had a pleasant walk gathering the required info. Struggled on one but made an intuitive guess and managed to come up trumps. Dropped off a TB I'd been holding for too long. TFTC

collected all the no's , put them in the GPS and ended up in the middle off the park by a busy BBQ, could not see any sign off hints , back to check no's, Had to give it a miss for the day as run out off time . Juggled no's a bit ,found likely spot that matched hints. went back next day and found a smilely face .CO may have to check and alter info collected . TFTC

This took a little longer than expected, but we got there eventually thanks to some thinking outside the square by Mrs Tparty. The answers to the clues were easily found but the final location suggested by the numbers did not make sense. Instinct suggested a location for the final, and we were nowhere near that. So we rechecked each answer by retracing our steps, but came up with the same result. Knowing that something was wrong, we reasoned that one of the answers had changed since the original placement (or else we had missed something important). Mrs Tparty surmised that a price could have changed, so we threw in a few alternate numbers to the GPS and bingo....one of the locations made a little more sense. Sure enough, just over an hour later, the cache was found as described in the hint. Will contact the owner to confirm our suspicions. TFTC

Tried this cache about a year ago with no luck - found out later it had been muggled. Very pleased to finally be able to cross this one off the list of "must dos"

Was originally looking for a Munzee - discovered this one and I am now a new Geo-Caching Fan! I left $1.00 in there for the next person to buy and icecream OR take their kid on the neighbouring train!

Needs checking to see the cache is still there and your cordnates are still ok as things change e.g the price of the rides.

We gathered the answers and went hunting to find no cache. Maybe this needs checking out as the last people Murray'n'Janet never found it neither.

We enjoyed gathering clues in this great park, then found GZ but unfortunately no cache was found. There was a great place that fitted the clue but no cache, sadly.

It was the most interesting BF which I´ve ever done. Me and my friend walked along the park and tried to find this cache BF with help of hint. We were not really successful but we didn´t mind, it was just a silly idea. But what´s happened? Young woman with her daughter saw two suspect objects (us) and asked what are we doing. After explanation it was clear she does geocaching as well. She took us on the right place of the cache and we´ve logged. I´m nor sure if I´m lucky or unlucky with this way of found, but it was new experience and at least we have met nice local people. Thanks a lot to them both for their pacience and thank you for this cache!

Took the kids to mini golf and they wanted to have a play in the park afterwards. I decided to do this multi given I had most of the info already. Quickly found the last required digit and headed for the final. Got to GZ and quickly found the cache. Thanks for the cache and the walk around the path. TFTC

On a mission to bag as many different cache types in a day as we can. We were going past here having come from Rotorua and heading for some webcams and puzzles we had solved here. Good hide! #4 of 10 cache types today! TFTC!!!

Took a quick tour round Memorial Park gathering the information needed for the Final co-ords. Some great amenities here. No problem finding GZ, but took a little while to actually get our hands on the cache, it was tucked so well out of sight. Thanks for a fun multi.

Good fun. Had fun running all over the park. Took us about 30 minutes all up. Took out a paddle rattle and left trackable NT4T15.

Interesting multi. Had to guess toward the end as did miss read some questions. Helpful hint

Another visit to this great cache with more grandchildren who are enjoying the new experience of Geocaching Picked up Trackable.

Found with Muggle friends in an attempt to get them hooked, this was a good multi showing them the diversity of geocaching. T4tC

Took friends kids with us as they had local knowledge, boys took the direct route, girls walked up the path.

Beaut day for clue and cache hunting! Mosh and I met up with my mum, sister and nephew for a play on the swings and an icecream whilst getting the answers before hunting down the cache. We bushwhacked a bit before realising there was a path up there! Found and signed log. Took blue keyring (nephew wanted that) and left pink dinosaur toy. TFTC.

5014 A fun multi, the kids enjoyed tracking down the various WP clues. Great hide, TFTC.

2455 What else would you do with a couple of hours to kill in Tauranga in the pouring rain - what about some multi's (being that these are the only caches left on our Tauranga list!) Great multi, well set out - returned to the van sopping wet but very pleased to tick this one off. And even a podium finish - where are all the locals (its only rain!!)Thankfully Mellee was willing to join me in finding this one! Now off to McLaren Falls!! TFTC

FTF! FTF! FTF! Decided to leave this one until after work tonight, knowing we could be missing out on the FTF. What a nice surprise to find the log book empty. We thoroughly enjoyed this multi ... straight-forward, well laid out, and a good clue to assist with the final location [^]. Very nice cache too. Took nothing, and left a girls hairclip.
