Quick last find for the morning! Lovely day and fun morning out with chRcheuse TFTC!
Nice quick find while waiting for the laundry to finish at the laundry mat. Cheers
In the area picking up a few caches. A nice quick find here. Removed old logs/rubbish from cache. The slip of paper in cache should do for a while longer. tftc#9908
Taking my bike for a ride around our new neighbourhood. Picking up some caches along the way.
This one was a quick find thanks to the hint, tftc! The log paper us slowly turning to dust, barely writable. No spares on me, sorry. Container itself is in good shape.

found with kjj162. with a recent find, we came back here and turned our sad face into a happy face on my map. the log is very damp and falling apart. tftc
A nice quick find after walking up from the playground with wee people in tow. Had know idea this path was here but I'm not at all familiar with the area. Thanks to caching, here we are in a neighbourhood. TFTC
Located with Ricardinho
A very fancy walkway & short cut up the hill that I didn't even know existed here!! In my earlier days I lived on Thompson Terrace at the top of Murphy Street, so I thought I knew the area well. What I love about Geocaching, discovering new things in my own back yard

A quick find today. Spotted it from one side and retrieved from the other. I would not be brave enough to bike down these steps. Just saying. TFTC B&W.
Today we thought we might go for a little walk up Tantragee or something similar, so we headed into town dressed for that and did some shopping at the market.
Then some more shopping then, what do you know, it starts raining. Ok, it wasn’t heavy but we decided to change plans and find a few more ‘urban’ caches on the way home. Still a few options there, so no big deal.
That filled in a few hours but unfortunately there were a few DNFs here too, so something to think about for next time.

We are in Nelson hunting for a house to buy before we make the move here. I got a few minute's furlough this morning, so I came here to make a quick find.
It was still a little bit muddy today, but I got there without slipping (too much). TFTC.

Gums may be gone, but the apple trees remain! All in beautiful blossom, too. But alas, like a dork, I left my camera in the car. It was a wonderful sight. Alas.
The park below and some parts of this track were missing from the maps. Fixed now.
Given that I am leaving Blenheim soon, I am putting in a concerted effort to cache out the South Island. 40 caches this weekend, only a few thousand more to go. A couple more weeks should do it! As usual I have Zara, Toby and Taybeedragon along for the ride. We were supposed to be going to Murchison, but there is some horrible weather that way, so we came here. Much better!!

Its a walk up the track behind the playground. Yes the gums are gone but lots of fejoa and apple trees looking a little out of place amongst the natives. Left our calling card here. Cheers
Its another weekend exploring Nelson and Tasman with The Seagnoid, Toby and Zara. Early start out of Blenheim getting to Nelson by 8am. Had a great weekend picking up a couple of Labs, even a new one on our way home in Havelock.

I made sure nobody was around when going up, but went I jumped back on the track a woman was coming with her dog, she wanted to know what I was doing and what was "this" in my hands and we had a long nice chat about Geocaching. She was quite interested so hopefully I turned a muggle into a cacher
In the warm temperatures we are experiencing at the moment we are pleased we have a few caches still available to find that are not way up the top of hills. GKis working not too far away from this area, when we checked the map and saw we have a couple around his work we decided it was going to be up to him to do a couple of days of finds. So after work he went to see what he could see. I was very pleased to hear that he could see the cache as per the hint.
Thank you for placing the cache and thank you for the smiley

Nice day for caching with my friend as they were muggles they found it with me

Almost 11 months since this was found! We are staying nearby so strolled our to pick up close ones. TFTC
Parked above and headed down another little Nelson walkway. Initially couldn't find and checked both options and previous logs. Upon circling again found it in the open so replaced a little better and all good now. T F T C b&w
It's been a few weeks since we came over the hill for a shopping/caching combo visit and with our in-law guests still away it was decided to head Nelson/Richmond. Usual rules applied; drop off mrs and Olivia in Nelson for a couple of hours - cache, pick up and drop off at Richmond Mall - cache. Pick up and return home. It works. I managed 7 caches on the first part and following a trip through Wairoa River Gorge and the aptly named Lee Valley I gained another 15 finds for a pleasing daily find rate of 22. Beautiful weather over this side, Blenheim had cloud all day apparently and good to see some new places; swimming holes and a chance to feed the local sandfly population some more of my blood!

Found it laying exposed, so we put it back in Left a marble, didnt take anything. Log abit damp. Tftc!
Found the cache as naked as the day it was born. Fortunately its hiding place is fairly secluded from all but the most keenest of eyes.
Restored its natural camo after signing the log.
Thanks

This cache has long been on our 'radar' but for various reasons has never been attempted. Tonight after finding 3 others with much more difficult approaches it was somewhat of a relief to find this easy path to our target. Thank you bumandworker.
A small night raid today and with two new caches close there were no more excuses not to check this one out. No dogs, cats or muggles tonight. Thank you Bumandworker for placing this cache.
Our last (and 16th) for the day. It's been fun and this one on the way home was a fitting way to end a new record day for us. Thanks for another one B&W.
We went the hard way to this cache- straight up the hill from ‘Murphy’s Law’. Still regret that. Cache in good order, TFTC
Very flash path, so we didn't use it to get to the top. Found cache without upsetting any of the locals. Signed and gave cache a bit more cover. Took the path to get back to the car. TFTC.
I'm happy to finally tick this one off. My first attempt a few months ago, I'd just arrived at GZ when a cat in the nearby garden decided to launch at a wood pigeon sending something crashing to the ground, this brought out a muggle who accused me of throwing something at the poor bird . At this point I made a hasty retreat. A week ago I made a second attempt, the neighbouring dogs were barking as I approached so just kept walking . Today there were no cats, birds or dogs to bring out the muggles and soon the log was in my hands
Easy find after a little bit of scratching around. As per previous entries, log book noted to be too sturated to sign off
Pretty easy find with the kids today and no GPS. Our second cache ever! The kids loved the treasures.
Note paper water logged so didn't record visit on it.

Took a while and got a bit more soaked but nether the less a good one for a rainy days caching with Mrs Magpiy
A quiet day in town just grabbing a few caches in amongst the showers. Another walkway we never knew about and a cache to help us find it TFTC
No upset dogs today - but after some of the other paths today the broad solid concrete path was a welcome sight and cache was soon found - approached the top way which was something different as we have friends living up the lower way so a new road for us signed log - thanks for the cache
Met some very yappy dogs through the fence, relatively easy find otherwise on a rather wet afternoon. Cheers Gav [7712]
Quick find - must go further on that pathway when we have more time. Dropped off a TB which JUST fits in the container so hopefully the next visitor will take it out and put a little something in its place (swappable) as I had to take a couple of bits out to fit the TB in. Thanks!
All nice and quite here today apart from a yapping dod it would be a nice short cut for the locals

Went up last evening but a muggle was working in the area. He lives near and was clearing part of the area and planting natives. He told us the path cost $200 000!!! Popped up this afternoon for a quick find. TNLN TFTC
Quick find. We set the neighbouring dog off when returning the cache. When we got back to the car, we could see him, he was inside staring at us through an upstairs window. Heh-heh, you can't get us.
TFTC.

#1791 (5/28 on Nelson to Picton). Trickiest part was navigating to a parking spot. TFTC.
Another lunch time excursion - awesome Spring day such a shame to be stuck inside. TFTC.
I've been on this track before it was so well developed one summer before geocaching when I spent my days working my way through the Nelson walks book. It has changed a lot since then. TFTC #1591
Not a dog day afternoon today. Quick walk down the path to the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
Bronze:No chance of beating the early bird, well done Jane. Nice easy find.

Nice One!!!!!!!! To call this a "path: is very much an understatement. Hell, it could be submitted as an option section for the new city diversion bypass. "Run for the Council"! Well done. Thanks
ha....it is spending like this that makes this town so expensive to live in !!
