Big thanks to Gum-Nuts for organising a great event on a perfect day. Was nice to have the boys from Magellan there to show off their GPS’s and answer questions.
It was also good to catch up with some old faces and even some new ones. I hope everyone has a good and safe Christmas and look forward to seeing you all at the next event wherever it maybe.
Happy Caching

Despite having booked the day off work back in September, found out wednesday I have to work. Was so looking forward to this event. Have a good day everyone 'wish I was there'.
Well it turns out we have some spare time before we drop off the kids and make our way to the U2 concert so popping in to say a quick "Hi" and drop off some trackables we have had for way too long.

Hey great fun thanks for organising the event. The kids had a blast and we caught up with friends we see rarely.
A most enjoyable day. Thanks for the raffle and it was great to see the faces behind the names.
Well we did it! Great to meet so many other cachers, great day. Thanks to all those participated and contributed. Gum-nuts
My 1st WA event since moving from the East....unfortunately couldn't stay long. What a great day for it! Thanks
Great way to start our trip to WA. Venue, weather and interesting people all good.
Our first event. Thanks gum-nuts. It was great to meet fellow cachers and we took the opportunity to get some clues for some of our past DNF's.
What a great place to hold an event, all the sorts of things you need! Great shade, spiffy dunnies and picnic area with great trails for extra cache hides.
I was surprised to see so many faces that were unfamiliar and so many with young children too. Thanks gum-nuts for a great time and the door prize which Cinnabear won was the Magellan coin which I was happy to covet. I thought they would be for sale so it was lucky we won it Also thanks for printing out your new listings so that those of us without internet on the go could have a chance at FTF on the new caches...which are great BTW!
I dropped off two geocoins at the event, Girl Guides of Canada 100 years and a Geochums.

Our first geocache event. Thanks gum_nuts for organising it. Great to meet other cachers and many delightful geokids and glad to have the chance to say good-bye to Eye of Horus who has set up some exceptional multicaches in the area. Then went for a walkabout to see what work the geo-son has been doing with bushrangers weeding, irrigating and planting in the BCF. The place looks great. [^]
Thanks for the event. It was great to meet up with some old friends and make some new ones.

A great place to hold a great event, well done guys! It is always nice to see the 'old' faces and meet new ones.
We had admired this place when we had been here previously caching so it was nice to come back for an event. Plenty of shade and good company. Thanks for all your efforts gum-nuts in organising this well-run event.
It was great to catch up with other cachers. Thanks Gum-Nuts for organizing this event. Well organised, great location and hopefully we will see more caches planted around the place because of it. Good one.
WanderingAus wandered by, saw some familiar faces and some new ones, and discovered a few travellers.
I even managed to talk the Magellan guys into giving me a bigger discount on a new Magellan Explorist 610 gpsr. Very nice, excellent topo maps, camera, microphone and video capability built in, should be even more awesome than my "OLD" Magellan Explorist GC gpsr. The WanderingMrs (aka SWMBO) allowed me an hour of fiddling with the new toy before taking it away to be wrapped up for Christmas.
Thanks for organising the event gum-nuts.

Thanks so much for organizing the event. It was great to have a bite to eat and find the new caches. Thanks for the effort and the fun.
This is the third event that I have attended this year. I really enjoyed it. The venue was fantastic and I had fun talking to everyone. Thankyou gum-nuts for organising this superb Geocaching event and thanks to oneplusfive for my yummy lunch! I went to find the caches nearby. They were very cleverly made!
A Happy Chrismas and New Year to everyone and TFTE gum-nuts!

Thanks a lot for organising this event! What a fantastic location!! We hadn't realised it was here and it was so good to be able to enjoy the area and find all those marvelous caches too. It was lovely to meet everyone .... all you wonderful geocachers ...... We had a great day.
A wonderful place for an event! And a wonderful attendance, even though so far from Perth (but not at all far for me! ). Great to meet and chat with other cachers again. Thanks for a most enjoyable morning - and for the couple of new caches, gum-nuts.
Dropping off some TBs ... 2 of them are mine, finally ready to start off their race!!
Just got permission from the Geowife, I will be there for a little bit before having to head off to cricket
Also dropping some trackables in

We are now available! 2 adults and 3 geokids! Looking forward to the kids seeing other people doing 'treasure hunting'!
Sorry to Rsvp so late. Had interstate visitors with us but they will be off to the cricket so 1 adult, 2 geokids to attend. Thanks gum-nuts.
Hi Gumnuts...we will be there on Saturday...it is about time we added some more stats to our name.
It's now looking increasingly likely I will need to fly over from Sydney on Friday. Unluckily trying to get the job done at Murdoch before Christmas means I will be working all weekend. So unless something goes seriously wrong with doing things onsite I won't be able to get down there, shame as I would have loved to have met some more WA locals.
Magellan have donated an unactivated geocoin for the raffle (please see description), the sausage sizzle is arranged with proceeds going to Baldivis Church Building Fund (thanks oneplusfive). I know bags have been packed by some of our interbational cachers! We are now into the final countdown - look forward to seeing you all on Saturday.
Dont forget if you have any coins or TBs you want to be discovered or swapped please write a note and drop them off.

Sorry, can't make it to this one. Hope you all have a great event and we'll see you in 2011. Merry Cachemas!!
We are seriously hoping to attend. We are having the whole clan over to celebrate Christmas the next day so it will depend on how preparations are going for that.
Dropped off a couple more coins, our new Courage Lion (thanks to ladycoop for giving this to us) to start it's journey and also the austrian geocow who wants to see kangaroos!
We will have to pull out of this sorry as we have two christmas parties and a birthday party on this date, and we don't think we'll make it everywhere (they do say its the silly season). Hope everyone enjoys the day
Looking forward to some hot weather when we arrive in Aus just before the event. We may look a bit spaced out but hope to be there providing our flights aren't delayed.
We aren't from the Rockingham area but I'd love to head down from the hills of Perth with the geomunchkins (2 of).
Cheers,

We are on our way back home to WA after attending the Oz Mega last March. We are thinking there is a possibility we may be able to make the event. Will let you know for sure in a week or so.

We also have some cachers attending from the UK, so will be an international event!

Will definetly be at this one. Just one adult, the other two team members geodogs red and kev will have to stay at home. Not sure they will be too happy when they see me leave with my geocaching bag and leaving them behind.
An event close to home. Great opportunity to meet some of the locals. Noting that I would have only just returned to WA will have to only say tentatively at this stage for 2 adults.
Cool! That looks like a lot of fun AND I have tons of questions about my Magellan....either that or I could use a new one There are five of us.
Hmm - bit slow on the uptake for this one, only saw it after showing a new cacher how to use the website to search.
An event so close to home, the day before my birthday - sounds great to me, but will have to only log a tenative yes at this time as Geowife may have other plans.
Initial plans are for 2 adults and 1 child
Cheers
