As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Out and about with Fangsoki for an early morning drive northbound. We pulled up at this one and read the logs. Hmm, no waypoint would have been an issue, but Fang had the finals saved so off we went in hunt of the twin ponds. We soon arrived in what seemed to be to be the appropriate area, but after a hunt around spotted no cache. Fangsoki as a previous owner confirms this one is gone and it seems so is that waypoint. This one needs some owner attention.

I will take a look.

Drove right past this one to find another cache but didn't stop after reading the previous logs. It might be worth the owner checking on it. One for my Watchlist.

DNF for us today. Found the start and made the walks but couldn't find the WP with the final co-ords on it so had no idea where to look for the cache.

Tried this yesterday without a compass and didn't get far. Came back today with Geohubby, Geokid and Geofetus and made a quick find. Beautiful park and pond Smile TFTC.

After an unsuccessful attempt last time we were passing through we returned and quickly located the cache this time. Great park to stop at and we have driven past many times without knowing it was here. TFTC.

We also experienced difficulty in locating the '4' referred to in step 1, so we paced out 50 metres from the co-ordinate point and went from there.
It all seemed to come together alright and we had soon located the mint tin which held the final cache co-ordinates.
After double checking the co-ordinates we revisited the area this monring and quickly located the cache. Thanks mosell10 for your prompt assistance. TNLN but really enjoyed the walk with all of the bird-life.

at 11:19 as part of Bristracker's Kit and Caboolture CITO event. We follwed the path round the lake and got some rubbish but there was not much there.

We started out with step 3 thinking it was step 1 until we woke up. We didn't actually find the "4" until after we had the cache.

TFTC Mosell10. Nice to meet some of you at lunch. As we said, the contents of the eclipse tin are very soggy.

Followed the clues, back in June, and bingo! Found the eclipse tin easily. Dried out the contents as best I could, but ran out of light before I could hunt for the cache. Finally had a chance to come back on a perfect winters day. A nice walk to GZ. TNLN. TFTC Mosell10

Spent quite a long time on this one. Nearly gave up but had another look at the clues when the muggles left. Found the 4, found the compass then the eclipse tin. Keyed in the final co-ords and found the cache after dark. Must include a torch in the geocache bag just in case. "Be Prepared" Nice park.

Found it with us3scouts. Great cache.

I stopped in on this one on the way through the area today. As per all other logs, couldn't find the '4'. I stumbled across the 'compass' accidentally then could not find the eclipse tin anywhere. I read the previous logs again and figured i had a good idea of where the prize was hidden. Big Grin Off i went around the lake, admiring the abundant birdlife as i went. The cache was found in a likely spot after checking a few other spots along the way. All is in good condition and dry. TNLN Thanks Mosell10

Couldn't find '4'. Did find the compass. Couldn't find the eclipse tin (although pretty sure I was looking in the correct spot?). Did find the cache. Thanks to those recent logs there were enough hints and enough geocaching intuition that the cache could be found on a hunch. Lovely spot - the ponds are certainly very full at the moment. Cache still in good condition. Took the 3 geocoins as this cache doesn't seem to get visited that frequently. Thanks mosell10

Found at 0930. This is the third time I have parked the car at the edge of this park and it is raining once again. This time it was only light drizzle so I decided to have a go. Could not find the 4 so I took a guess and walked 50meters to the west. I used the hint re cloudy and decided to walk on the top side of the first lake. I did not see the compass. So again I took a guess and proceeded to walk in the direction of cloudy for about 36meters. I saw a line in a previous log that suggested that it did not matter which side of the pond you were on. As I was walking I saw a likely hiding spot that would be familiar to all cachers and behold there was the container tucked away nice and dry. took Trackable. Left Trackables. SL TFTC mosell10

From the roadside there was no sign of any pondage.
Just a tidy little parkland with a picnic spot and a playground Smile
No sign of a number 4 either, but I did find a handy weather forecast Big Grin
"Fine with a chance of caches", it said [^]
As I wandered up the hill the lakes came into view.
I didn't expect that !! Smile

With the Eclipse tin found, I took the scenic stroll to GZ.
A delightful experience early morning with all the birdlife around Big Grin
The cache was soon found, safe and sound in its nest and the log book signed.
I left the GPS Treasure Hunt travel bug to amuse the next finder.

TFTC.

I will claim this as a find - as I found the cache and signed the log. However, I did have to use some intution to find the cache, rather than find the eclipse tin. I could not find said beast anywhere. I did find the other WPs after a bit of a hunt. It started to rain quite heavily so I decided to use ye olde brains and go for a walk. Searched a few spots and found a likely spot - and success. A well hidden cache Smile The cache is in excellent condition - given the recent wet. TFTC Mosell10 Smile

First to Find with nic579 and zac23. Our first FTF and our first Multi-Cache! Thanks for a nice little trail through a beautiful park. Never did find the "4" in stage 1. Jumped straight to stage 3. A true team effort and a good start to an afternoon's caching. TFTC!

FTF with the help of oakeyflat and zac23 I found the compass part and we skipped the four part.
A great team effort. TFTC

As we had arrived just as it had become dark, we were unable to find the "4", but headed off to locate the compass easily and the required coordinates. We wandered off around the pond and while initially thinking we were on the wrong side, on nearing GZ we noted it didn't matter which side of the pond you were on. We had a pleasant stroll in the area, although we were unable to fully appreciate its beauty in the darkness. TFTC mosell10
