As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
There appears to have been some recent track works. We did not find the cache so it may have been affected by the works in some way.
A nice easy cache for the kids! Plenty of black swans!! Took 2 party games for the kids left a pencil topper and marbles.
Ok this one has been over looked by me several times and now I am not sure way as it was a short quick stroll to GZ, except for the rank smell as we approached but on the far side were the cache was was a breath of fresh air. smelly belly 8 enjoyed the view while we all sogned the log.
JABs.
JABs.
found it wasn't the best smell. but the cache was great seem a few little swans.
smelt bad couldn't stand the smell so went a little further for some fresh air. on the way back me and pE held there breath while running up the hill. when we could not smell it I found a volcunic rock.
The only thing wrong with walking down hills is that you have to walk up them again. Water pretty choppy today, easy find tftc
Locate easy. Lots of black swans here. Some look like they could play footy better than my Swanies did yesterday.
Got within 50m or so and blow me down....the batteries went flat. The gpsr turned itself off...so kept walking in roughly the right direction...turned it back on...which it did for a last gasp of 2 sec's...just enough time to say 12m away....phew...thankfully the hide was easily spotted. Lovely quiet part of the river here...TFTC polfil...Cheers.
Found with a bit of help from an onlooking beautiful burmese mountain dog..very friendly. Tnln..thanks for the cache!
Lots of black swans in the bay today. Took scout badge and leftfake $50 and army man. TFTC!

Found on a quiet, sunny Saturday afternoon. A nice short stroll along the path and a quick find. Geokid was determined to find this one after just missing the previous one, and find it she did. Took Ham (pig from toy story), left magnet & dice. TFTC
I was looking for somewhere to stretch my legs on my way home from work this afternoon and this fit the bill just nicely. Thanks for the cache!
Nice easy enough find although feeling a little stupid now, wrote in log couldn't see any swans...... then looked up to see hundreds of the buggers
Great day for a cache hunt, and nice way to introduce a friend and her children to the game. TFTC.
A nice easy stroll along a gravel pathway almost right up to the cache location. Easy find under the obvious pile'o'rocks.
Bit of a bush bash, although there is probably an easier way through retirement central but the bush was more fun, as the description says, pretty easy find and there are nice views across the river.
We were driving up this direction so made a quick stop. Not sure if the gate is always locked and as I headed in I kind of wondered if it might be private property, but once in it did seem like a public access. Nice quick find, then went in a circuit to come back up. But had to go a little way along to get through to the road without cutting through someone's garden. Nice spot, but boy was it chilly today! Not a swan (or any other creature) to be seen - they're all tucked up staying warm somewhere else. Thanks polfil - nice one.
Found this one after walking all the way from Bridgewater, 4 hours there and back, and totally worth it for this one!
5 black swans
4 kids across the bay lighting fires!!!
3rd find for the day
2 unfit people struggling back up the hill
BUT
1 cache found!! Thanks.

A quick find and a not so quick return to the car. We tried to power back up the hill, then various joints and muscles started to complain. Christmas has done it's usual damage to the fitness regimen! TFTC and the realisation that we need to get back into it!
Found in the company of the Earthbound Control family. There is definitely a funky smell here.
Not sure if the gate to the track is usually unlocked or not. Today it was locked so we made our way down to gz and logged an easy find. No swans today but it was quite gusty around the cache location.
weather so awful strong wind and my twin brother first time found cache, they amazaing interest with it as hide very well .... thanks
A picturesque bay but a bit smelly. Near the bowels of the earth methinks!! Took the Oregon Dead Duck TB (must have been the odour) and left a soldier. TFTC
Not a swan (or muggle) in sight.
Peaceful up here, but blustery further down the river.
TNLN
Thanks

100's of swans out today - such beaut weather
The little red tags loved looking for crabs and throwing stones in the water
Thanks for the cache

A quick walk down in the blustery conditions - not a swan in sight anywhere today. Where do they go in bad weather?
Glad to see this cache has been placed with Tasmanian Cache Placement Guidelines V2.0 beening adhered to.
Some sugar ants have tried to make a home on one of the rocks - just be mindful future cachers.
TNLN. Thanks for the cache Polfil.

Quick find to satisfy pippamer. Nice little walk down and cache was obvious a way off. Tftc.
Our first geocache. Great little spot. One lone swan. Very windy.
Self plus 2 year old daughter.

The great view down by the river - only draw back was a very large number of small pesky flies near GZ. A quick find and a quick exit. TFTC
By the time I arrived here my grandson had woken up so we braved the wintery conditions and walked down to grab and log the cache. We saw no swans but this looks like it could be a good trout fishing spot when the sea-runners are moving. TFTC.
Arrived at GZ and not a Swan in sight. Very, very windy here today. Logged at 1143hrs as the third of four today. TFTC and cheers; OldSaint.
A very easy find 4 black swans and a duck swimming in the bay.
Took nothing.
