Chair is gone, cache may have been removed, either that or my finding skills arent too sharp
The chair is now gone, the track has had recent upgrades so may have disappeared
Been by too many times before we started caching and never knew. Great cache after school.
Quickest find ever. Nice stop on the road to Auckland. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent (signed TB on micros). Find # 2214
My objective today was all about the numbers - but not the usual numbers - I was after missing minutes to complete the South 36 Challenge (GC54X4E). I started the day needed 11 more and managed to get them all while dodging rain showers along the way. I dodged the rain along the walk here. Good to be under the forest cover. I happened to stop and check my bearings right at GZ so the cache was quickly found. TFTC, Biggles.
Good cache not too easy, not too hard. Well worth doing the full loop walk through the bush at the same time
I was heading up North to meet up with some fellow cachers to hike across Dome Valley. Made the decision to leave a few hours early as there were a number of caches I wanted to find around Warkworth.
Arrived here nice and early to find one other muggle. Headed off along the loop trail towards this cache. Found the old codgers rest and quickly located the cache. Thanks for bringing me to this wonderful location.

The name was very apt. When we reached this one there was indeed an old codger resting on the bench. I retrieved the cache and he said "I found that quite by accident" He knew a little bit about geocaching and I showed him the app on the phone he could use if he wanted to pursue it further and he pulled out his phone, an basic nokia, mmmm.
We really enjoyed the walk, we took the long loop. It was a nice way to finish up our visit to NZ.

Yay, first geocache found in NZ, tricky to find initially, the hint definitely helped!
Sat on the bench and opened app for the first time in Auckland and found this cache 3 meters away.
Driving from Paihia to Hot Water Beach, we dropped in here to stretch the legs. A beautiful walk in a lovely forested area. Sat lock was surprisingly good in the trees, and we found it surprisingly quickly in less than 10 seconds looking, got lucky i think. Signed log
What a gorgeous walk. My father wanted to see the kauri trees so we took him on this walk. His attention span is quite short so it was good that this was a quick find. Thanks!
Very easy find in the park while michaelteacher's dad was admiring the kauri and native trees. Tftc
In NZ for a brief holiday. Stopped to see the old Kauri trees. Amazing. Quick find on the walk. TFTC
Very cool area. Took the walk and grabbed the cache. Nice spot. Beautiful dry weather for a change. Nice day. TFTC.
Out and about for a spot of cache detection north of Auckland today. Ended up being good weather for it. I parked up and checked out the impressive Kauri specimen before hitting the trail. A fancy wooden Boardwalk. Though with the wet weather yesterday it was on the slippery side. A nice walk to GZ. Hint helped with making the find as the gpsr was slow to settle under the tree coverage. Cheers for the cache placement!
A long time since I've been in this part of the world. A pleasure to visit.
Made a straightforward find on this one in the company of the boywonder, z that is, cacher.
Log signed, cache safely re-hidden, just as found.

Stopped by to see the Kauri, so while the others were busy, I went for this one. At first I didn't see the entrance, but that was quickly solved. The cache was an easy find after that. TFTC.

The gate was still open. Our first Kauri whitch we see with our own eyes. It's huge. Thanks to the evening, we have the whole park for ourselves. The walk is pleasant and peaceful. It's great that there is not only one circuit, but there are more ways. We will examine the exposed carriage with a giant stump. The museum is closed long ago. By the way, the correct URL is [warkworthmuseum.co.nz](http://warkworthmuseum.co.nz/) and we are leaving at dusk.
Thanks for the cache. In: - / Out: -
In: - / Out: -

Lovely cool walk to do in the heat of the day. It was nice to hear children playing and talking amongst themselves as they walked around the walkway.
A beautiful walk and a neat cache. Thomas Trackable doesn't appear to be here anymore however. TFTC. Team LOPHB: Lily and Oli
Brilliant little walk showing off a bit of native forest cheers for the cache
On Saturday we had a trip with our friends to the north of Auckland. We went to Goat Island, Pakiri Beach and to this nice area. We had a nice walk through the park and an amazing look to the big tree. The cache was easy to find.

My friend and I found this while exploring around the tracks. First ever find of this sort and now I think it just might be my new fav hobby!
Nice spot! Quick walk on my drive to pick up my new daughter and her mummy from the Birthing Centre.
We were up at the Cement works for a swim and look around as we had never seen them before. My muggle husband's new favourite swimming spot. Popped by this reserve to show the muggle grandparents the Kauri. Title of cache very appropriate!☺ Lovely spot for cache and our only find this trip as muggles everywhere this weekend.
On our way to the north we stopped to see the kauri trees. Although the cache was found quick and easy. Thank you for showing this place and the nice cache!

TFTF 4th 1 4 the day. 2day was a great day 4 geocaches. Also got our first geo-coin thank u.
In the district to take my nieces wedding service. Thanks for the cache. Great place to visit.
Last summer the idea was born to visit [Green]'New Zealand'[/Green], together with [url=http://coord.info/PR3NXJG][red]'MimiNemo'[/red][/url]
After some important decisions regarding the beginning of our trip, the flights, the general route and the car were made, the most important question was still unanswered: which caches can we visit during our tour [?]
To get an answer for this topic I was fetching almost every cache from both islands [8)][:X]
[url=http://coord.info/PR3NXJG][red]'MimiNemo'[/red][/url] and I love [Teal]'Geo-Arts'[/Teal]...so we added all these cache series to our wish list
After this decision was made this list was more than 300 puzzle caches long...unsolved puzzle caches
Two weeks before Christmas it was getting time to start solving all these mystery caches
Even with the different language I could find almost every solution
In the case I was not so successful I was contacting some of the CO's...and was always getting help from them...many thanks for this support [:X]
During the following weeks our cache list was growing and growing...meanwhile more than 1000 caches long...too long for a simple bookmark list from GC
Time to get our route and caches in sync...time to save the PQ's to our Garmins...time to start this holiday:
Chapter 25: [red]Warkworth[/red] to [green]Whangarei[/green]
Today we were looking for the next two geocaching arts: [blue]Route66[/blue] and [teal]MCC[/teal]
On our drive we stopped also for some other caches...like this one
I would like to thank all the cache owners for showing us these great places and maintaining all these caches,

First cache found in New Zealand. We flew into Auckland and stopped to see the fantastic kauri trees on the way to the Bay of Islands. No one on the tour had heard of geocaching so they thought it was neat when I found the cache. Thanks for placing it in such a great location. TFTC
Our last bushwalk, our last bushwalk.
One more visit.
We love the trees and the bush so much here in NZ.
Almost walked by the cache because of the trees.
In: Personal AWC.
Out: Butterfly.
TFTC,
Team ERw2 - Eva and Robert F. - We 2 (2512)
PS: We have been pointed here by our host in Paihia to see one more Kauri tree before we have to leave. And this has been a good hint, not only the Kauri, but also the whole walk was very impressive.

The first time here since we started geocaching and went out for a walk in the shade of the trees and the old codgers sat down here for a rest, a nice find by the youngest team member. Thanks for the hide KiwiGary.

First time I did the loop walk through the forest, nice place for a Sunday afternoon. Not too many people around luckily.
The nearby museum was much enjoyed by my two kids -their interest in learning about the olden days has been somewhat of a surprise to me. The walk was nice too. TFTC.
With Ostara74 in Australia for a while we had our annual holiday a bit closer to my home this year heading over the ditch to the land of the long white cloud for a few weeks exploring and of course hunting caches. We had a brilliant time visiting the many amazing sites New Zealand has to offer and finding heaps of awesome caches. We managed to squeeze in a road trip around the bottom of the south island, then a short week in Queenstown (even got two days skiing) and then a week relaxing north of Auckland with family and friends. This was cache find number 17 of 60. Thanks for the cache, KiwiGary.
Found this one together with Pathfinder24 and Irtek.
This is my second visit to New Zealand but the first time caching. In addition to enjoying the beautiful scenery we spent some time locating caches during our 3 weeks of holiday. Today we headed north from Irteks holiday place and stopped for some caches along our way. We came to this park to have a look at the old kauri trees here, and yeah they are massive and very impressive. After a photo session by one of the kauris we headed onto the boardwalk and enjoyed a nice walk learning about other native trees of New Zealand. Pathfinder24 was a bit ahead of me and Irtek and soon located the cache without any muggle disturbance. We caught up with him, signed the log and put the cache back in its place before we were on our way again.
Thanks for the cache KiwiGary!

Lovely walk & gorgeous park + Hiwi the kiwi TB loved watchimg thr birds @ tjr platform. TFTC which brought me to a new place i've never stoppef before. Faved
Been to this little park quite a lot - often with overseas visitors because of the massive kauri here and all the name tags by trees, once with my Brownie unit as well (something to do with native flora). Of course, back then I had no idea anything like geocaching existed. I've been meaning to visit again since I started caching in March but you can't walk the dog here and this is about the first time I decided to take a little detour from my grocery shopping to make the find while without the mutt. Took the long way around, so slightly longer detour than intended but the walk is a nice one so that didn't matter. A pity the other cache in the park is disabled so didn't have the co-ords on my GPSr to check it out anyway. Thanks for the cache KiwiGary.

Looking for a good place to stop while travelling from the Waikato to Northland and decided to check this place out. Great surprise to find this and even a handy LARGE kauri to shelter us while eating lunch. Great spot and great cache. Thanks!

11.15am. One old codger appreciates another!! Enjoyed the walk with Oscatello and thought the birdsong outstanding - that is in the moments when Oscatello stopped talking!! Beautiful reserve and deserves a favourite from us for location. With the help of the hint we had the cache in hand in no time.
