I'd looked at this puzzle before but had no luck. But today everything fell into place pretty quickly. Once matagouri was home from work, we headed out to grab it.As it was starting to get dark now, we utilized the torches on our phones and soon found what we were looking for. Thanks for setting this up
Rattll and I came looking for this cache just on dusk. Rattll had solved this pretty quickly, while I was still trying to get my head around the clues. Anyway. At GZ, ducked into the vegetation, suddenly torchlight required. She tried one hint object, I the other, and it was me that made the find. Log fragile, but still signable. Returned as found. Tftc!
This was a fun one to solve. Think it would have taken me a while to spot the hide without dmkw1 it blends in very well TFTC
Clever puzzle, stared blankly at it for a while before getting on the right track. Easy walk up for the find this afternoon. As others have noted, the lid is missing but the log is still somewhat protected and writeable.
Quickly saw the first part, but needed the obvious nudge at a recent event to get the next piece, yes good one... Was in the area this afternoon so made a point to swing by and sign off the final. Left a new log paper, and replaced as found, TFTC
Solved ages ago. Happy to finally get out and find it! Nice easy find. Needs new logbook and bottom missing.
Hmmmm. Gave it a good nudge but I did solve it 10 years ago and perhaps it's changed since then. Went around a few objects but no luck here. Lovely place, did have fun racing past in a scooter earlier on the way to a conference. Cheers
I solved this so long ago I can’t remember how but I think google was my friend. Cache is missing it’s bottom but still tucked away nicely
Nice to solve this after a nudge. Lot of work been done at GZ and road totally changed. Thanks for the puzzle.
Pleased to solve the puzzle OK, and very pleased to find the cache quickly too. Thanks.
After a few false puzzle starts came to a grinding halt, had a rethink and it all fell into place. At GZ, things were also looking bleak, untill a lucky break .

So good to have this puzzle signed off and sorted while staying down here...
Didn't want to be here too long as someone lives here evidently.

The puzzle turned out to be much simpler than appeared at first glance, however finding the cache was much harder. It took several attempts at several hint objects before we eventually succeeded in finding it. TFTC
Thought we would give this puzzle a go- and eventually stumbled upon the answer! Love it when that happens! Today we went exploring, and were happy to find it without too much of a hassle. thanks for the fun
With Hidden Creature souvenirs up for grabs. A plan was hatched with our Westie buddies. We were all ready for a stormy rainy day but the weather gods were good to us today with no rain until getting home at 10pm. A fun day was had by all and many thanks To all the COs for giving us a reason to come here. We had a nice mixture of cache containers, types, DTs and hides. We signed as BOPnJAM to save room on the logs. Please excuse my cut and paste logs in advance due to numbers. Cheers for the great puzzle and time taken to set up.
Out for a day's caching with Team BOPnJam. Having solved this puzzle was a good day to get over to the area to get the smile. We found a place to stop and headed off to GZ. Took time at night and with tree cover ended up giving on my phone. Knew we were in the right place and found with the hint. TFTC
Another big trip planned this time in an effort to obtain all the Hidden Creature Souvenirs. Team BOP (Davidson clan, McJandals, Frogybecaching, TNXPro & myself) joined with a couple of Westies (Jag50&Merlot58) to fill up the van and clear Huntly off the caching map Now we're on our way home - head lamps at the ready - cherry picking our way through Hamilton. We signed the logs as BOPnJAM for expedience and to save on log space.
This one was probably an easier find in the day because it took much longer then it should have at night. TNLNSL. Cheers mattyswift. TFTC.

This was an enjoyable puzzle and when I managed to get onto the correct wave length the answer was right there in front of me ...just like magic ..thanks mattyswift great puzzle and good all round cache
I really enjoyed solving this mystery and learn a bit more about technology in the process. We proceeded to gz - well I navigated and Macwatt negotiated school traffic. Parked close by and ducked in. Soon had my hand on the nicely camoed cache thanks to the hint. The cache container was well a more by natural cover but all dry inside. Thanks for the mystery cache mattyswift
Mrs nzkites enjoyed the solve awhile ago although it took a while to get on the right track. Quick find today thanks for the cache and the puzzle
Also DNF'd here. Not having much luck today! Cool puzzle but for the find it was difficult to know which one to look at and thought I did a good search at each one. Got munched alive by mozzies! Will keep an eye on this one.
I felt like this was the caching equivalent of a needle in a haystack... without any hay. Puzzle easily solved, great place for a cache with little muggle activity. However the leafy plant that spreads out along the ground like wildfire made it really hard to spot objects on the ground of the type alluded to in the cache description. After several circles and much poking around I admitted defeat!
Even though I moved around quite a bit, my smartphone never changed from 9m. This meant that I had to check quite a few places that fit the hint. Still, I had to go out to get a clean signal, then take a beeline back in to get to the right one. After a few circles, I found the well-hidden cache. TFTC.
Interesting puzzle I solved a while ago; guess this might have not been quite as easy when this was first published? Managed to find a park on a side street and a short walk to the final. Log is a little damp but could be signed. TFTC.
Quite liked the puzzle technique which I think I might have come across once or twice before. Since we were down in Hamilton today for a different cache and on our way to town to look for another one (which we ended up DNFing, ain't that how it goes?).
Quite a nice little spot here so we enjoyed looking about. Good muggle proof hide that most geocachers would spot. Thanks for this puzzle and cache.

I enjoyed the solving method of this puzzle and today I made the grab on the way back home to the naki. Tftc
Not sure why I had such a time of it last attempt! I'm sure I spent 30 minutes and yet this time it was the first place I looked. Caches are funny like that!
Finally happy to knock this one off. TFTC.

Solved this ages ago when we were on a solving spree. Took us a wee while to cotton on, but got there! Drive past this area usually twice a day, sometimes 4 times a day, but due to the lack of close parking, never stopped in to retrieve the cache.
As luck would have it, a client nearby needed some assistance, and so I leveraged a chunk of my lunch break at the same time to locate this. Great camo! Hint was perfect. As per previous finders, log is quite wet, but still able to be signed. TNLN. SL. TFTP & TFTC!

Found pretty easily second time around signed and put back but had a bit of trouble getting cover to stay on sorry :L tftc so good to finally get this been eyeing it up for a while
Nice tricky cache! Like the others said, you walk past it a few times before you realise, so don't give up too quickly!
4th time here and this time i wasnt leaving without a find, i now know why i couldnt find it on my 2 night visits, there was no onein the area today so had plenty of time to look, can now have this smilie and not have to come back again, tftc
No luck today, that's not to say it's not there... Just that I likely didn't look hard enough with the jumpy inaccurate gps
Puzzle was nice and easy, but finding took a while longer. Thought we knew what we were looking for, but had no luck with a rough sweep of the area. GPS wasn't great around GZ, so after checking the map for landmarks we pinpointed a small area to search and found it after a bit of poking around. tftc.
3rd of 4 found today.
Find the Co-Ords easily enough.
We lost one of our members before we finally found it, we were getting close to giving up and I ended up kicking it. When we found it it was Me, Moose and 1 other.

Solved some time ago, took advantage of the university student free period to get a few caches in the area. Cache still in good condition.
We solved this some time ago. I tried to pick it up one day with the GPS out of the car (she kept recalculating) and I couldn't figure out how to put the co-ords into the iphone 4. We got it this time and my brain has started to hurt from all the caches around here that require cerebral activity.

#11292. We worked hard for our caches today, and decided after this one it was time to head home, have a coffee, and do a bit of packing to prepare for out drive to Whitianga in the morning. TFTC.
Our last full day in Hamilton and so about time we looked for a few more solved puzzles (not a very long list) plus whatever trads we happened to pass.
This was the last find of the day and it wasn't a quick find in the heavy tree cover. StreetWalker finally found the correct hint item then soon after that, the cache. Thanks for the puzzle and TFTC.

Out and about in the Tron trying to sign off on some solved puzzle caches that have sat in my solved pile for far too long. No problem with the solve, though it was years ago now! Invented some parking and made the short stroll to GZ. At GZ I put my hand straight on the cache for a super quick find. Cheers for the puzzle cache placement!
Although I've embraced technology, and enjoy the gadgets of the age we live in I also have a hankering for the more simple days I grew up in. No problems getting the cords. a tricky hide but soon found. TFTC
1144 Spent the night finding mystery caches until I arrived at this one for a midnight find. To see how down the list I can get for the new souvenir. Yes I achieved number 1. Time for a beer.
quick solve this morning then out for a walk (just ten mins from home) to the final of this cache. very interesting morning weather wise. forecast said fine but it was very foggy and misty, couldnt see that far ahead.. make stealth easy for me also wasnt too much traffic at that time of the day and being uni holidays. at GZ little bit of searching for the right large tree and trying to follow geotrail but not too long after arriving had cache in hand. base of cache has fallen off replaced as best as could. TFTC
#6608. Good drive to Ruakura, which was not too far from where Mrs h used to work. GZ was all quiet. Quick find. The cache was in fair condition, but it was now difficult to keep water out. The logsheet was writeable though. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log. Thanks for the puzzle and cache.
Not easy to find as there was a lot of plant debris about it. Clues were easy and fun. Daughter found it. Great container.

This was a good idea for a puzzle. As usual it has been on the solved list for a while until I was out bicycling today. Thanks for a cache in another of those spots one wouldn't otherwise end up.

Nice easy puzzle to solve, wasn't far from GZ so thought I'd go for quick grab, lots of car traffic but cache away from them. First spot nothing went around then came back and found it nice hide and rehid as found.
This one has been hanging around the puzzle book forever, but today we finally visited ground zero. Great cache spot where you can't be seen.Found quickly, but there was just a bit of paper pulp inside. We wiped the container out with paper towels and double bagged a piece of paper as a log, but the "lid" isn't, so it won't last. We also replaced it slightly above ground level on some twigs so it mightn't sit in the wet.
Out on another mission with Gap (of Fap and Gap). We intended on attending a couple of events in Hamilton today, but a much more absorbing activity had us heading for the hills (literally)...
Went on a puzzle solving spree recently and this was one of those solves... We searched briefly and Gap found this cache. The log was a bit damp but we managed to get our handles onto the log. TFTP and TFTC.

The container has to have a "locker" maintenance (one of the two is broken). The previous log is completely wet.
Solved the puzzle 20 days ago. I cycle next to the cache twice a week and I couldn't prevent me from looking for it for my second time. I failed the first time because of the night.
Was about to give up again, but I managed to find it finally.
Put a piece of paper in it in case.

Found after a short search very over grown at GZ but co ordinates were spot on loved the camo but log sheet does need replacing couldn't sign log
Fun, easy find (cool container) but could not write in logbook as everything it too wet. Latch is broken.
In Hamilton for the weekend and event tomorrow. Dusted through the files to find this puzzle cache solved ages ago, can't remember when. Anyway arrived at GZ and after quite a bit of fossicking around, and nearly being disappointed, just about giving up, we actually found it. So nice to have the fun of solving a puzzle, but even better when you can find the cache and sign it all off. Thanks for the fun. Clever hide. SL. TFTC.
Thanks for another good puzzle, cache was soon found.
Seemed to be a homeless person camped out a few metres away from the final location

Excellent puzzle, thanks. Found an interesting cache well inhabited with lots of little leechy looking wormy things (apologies for the non-scientific identification). Removed as many of these critters as poss.
I had solved this back in the UK before coming to New Zealand but somehow managed to lesve it until the last day here before collecting it! Parked up nearby and crossing the road was more difficult than finding the container proper. A fun puzzle and good cache. Thank you.
An enjoyable fun one to solve. And a brilliant sunny day to day to go find it.
Many thanks.

Winding down after work so dragged Z-masterNZ out for a spot of late night caching.

Clever puzzle! Looked at it ages ago and did the first part, but today finished.
I used to live around the cover from here, but never took any notice of this spot. Great cache.
Thanks for the fun!

Enjoyed the unique puzzle and camo container. New log still nice and dry, thanks for this unique cache.
A fun puzzle, we'd never done one like this before.
Replaced the Log Sheet.
This was our 1,000th find[^]! How long will it take us to get to the 2,000 mark we wonder[?].

Have hunted for the coords in the past to no avail, even emailing the owner twice! Tried again today exactly the same and there it was! Grabbed the numbers quickly in case it vanished again! Interesting spot for the final - recognised the container as we have one the same but unfortunately a hinge is missing and log is saturated so unable to sign. TFTC!
Great puzzle and good hide - GZ was a bit out but looked in the obvious spot and there it was . Log too wet to sign - nice hide TFTC

NZFlossy and I discussed where to park, and eventually found a spot - good hide, but the log was far too wet to sign
As I have been trying to do some of the local "easier" puzzle caches (but not too me) finally decieded to try for this one and managed it relitivley quickly (by my standards)
Thanks for a puzzle that I could actually do, TFTC

Solved some time ago and was in Hamilton today so able to complete the 'paperwork'. TFTC
Great puzzle and a great cache. It was a little damp inside but still 'write-able'
That was fun, it took longer to find the cache than to solve the puzzle. It was raining and cold - when is the Summer going to arrive? t4tc
We were in Hamilton for the weekend to attend the 'Why Not An Event Cache'. We had spent several nights solving a few puzzles in preparation for this trip. Managed to find somewhere to park the camper and walk to GZ. Circumnavigated the object and soon found the cache. THat is a busy coner but at least you are hidden from view. Great puzzle.
Out and about with Trout-fly picking up some of those long solved puzzles. Lots of fun with this one, thanks for puzzle and the cache.
Yes indeed the WWW is very large, but I finally managed to find what I was looking for. The Log is getting a bit soggy although I could still sign it. TFTC
#345. We had a similar issue to novalightning. Tried a number of things on our search once we had the right place but no luck. Got help via Zorgon from novalightning.
Cool idea, nice hide too - thanks.

Great puzzle. figured our the location to find the coordinate but was unable to locate media file needed. Thanks to Zorgon who sent me a link to the media. Not sure why my pc wouldnt locate it. Great little cache. Thanks
