Quick find after the gps took us the long way instead of just straight down Westlakes Drive (along the side streets out to the lake which was a dead end). Thanks for another smilie
Found on an afternoon out to hide a couple of new caches. Left a ladybug peg. TN. TFTC

Found today in the company of dutch frangipani on a blitz of Melton. Great little park and walk. Thanks for bringing us here bel04
An easy find after some disasterous DNF's in Melton. Thank you bel04 for the cache.
Found this early this morning, it took me a bit longer to find than it should have, but got it in the end.
I don't expect the park could get a lot of use with no real attraction to it...
Cheers Gordo

A different reserve indeed but no trouble finding this cache as no muggles about and just a few cars passing by. Broken branch of a gum tree in shelter area. TFTC bel04 and bringing us to this new area for us.
Great find, as described. No swings @ this park Old log is tattered, signed replacement log and returned carefully... tough spot for muggles. Luckily none were around during this find, only passing cars.
Took guitar pick.

This was, cache # 11 of 24 finds for the day, in the company of Trailrunning, we had been chating and texting for some time now regarding caching but never met, so tonight we finally teamed up and went caching, we had a great night with lots of laughs along the way. My thanks to bel04 for the cache.
The usual TDC cache grab had been put on hold for a week, so I was looking at doing a solo run when I remembered I had a rain check promise with the legendary RebelActs to go on an evening caching run during the school holidays at some stage in the future. Well tonight was the night. We met at Glen Waverley and were soon moving west to Melton. It’s hard to find locations close to either of us where we haven’t already cleared out the area, so the Melton area was easily accessible and fruitful enough for us both. In all we visited about 33 locations with only two DNF’s, one DNA, and 1 very flat tyre. All in all it was a great night out. I finally got to meet RebelActs after corresponding and talking for such a long time and never actually caching together!
We nearly missed this one when we thought it was the Arthur Westlake archived cache. Luckily we realised our mistake and came back for a quick find. Thanks

I was a bit concerned by the previous searcher's dnf, but needn't have worried. Nobody in sight as I arrived, so I could feel around in the places I would hide... and there it was. Thanks.

As I pulled up to GZ the coast was clear.
The would you know it the closest house muggle decided to water his front yard.
He stared a little but I just sat and talked on my phone.
When he ducked away I jumped up and looked around to find the cammo not far away.

This one took a bit longer than it should have.... and we were looking for the right thing. Oh well, success was had and we were on our way again, only to see there were some muggles across the park right over the other side. Hmm, hadn't seen them earlier. Hoping they weren't paying attention too much to us.
Anyway, thanks for the cache.

Very clever, had us stumped for awhile. Needs new note pad but all else good.
Found today after Intervening Days IV on a caching run with Rabbitto and The 2 Wanderers. Nice area, similar to some near Werribee. SL TFTC
We found this cache at 3:45pm as the 10th of 24 on our Intervening Days IV - Melton Cache Day in company of Kinkell1 and The 2 Wanderers. We decended on GZ but only when we stepped back a bit did we spot the cache. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
Found at 4:01PM. A great day for caching following the Intervening Days event.

Took a little while to find, only because I wasn't looking hard enough from the start. Alway have the feeling someone is watching me. TFTC
On a cold afternoon it was muggle free, so it did not take long to have this cache in our hot hands. SL TFTC bel04
Almost blown away by the wind that has picked up while out here in Melton. Cache picked up by raffa27815.
On our way to Spladem's 500th day of non stop caching celebration event we left early to zig zag our way there picking up some caches as we went. This was the sixth for the day. This one took a lot longer to find the way to gz than what it did to locate the cache, our Nuvi had old maps and didn't know any of the streets around here and the streets in these new estates seem to weave and meander all over the place with a lot of dead ends thrown in. We pulled up here with the freezing wind still blowing but this works out better for looking for caches as it seems to keep the muggles away. We had only just started our search when the garage door across the road opened and there was a family loading a heap of stuff into their car. We sat on a nearby seat and pretended to be making the old GPSr phone call until they finally left and the cache was found in the second place we looked and our name has been added to the log
Thanks for the cache

The new houses just seem to keep stretching out, thankfully there are these great little parks, T4TC
A quick find with Dylan 7a. The Park looks a tad forlorn in a way - needs some swings and slides etc. Gosh, there is a lot of housing in these parts. You certainly need a turn by turn GPS or a very up to date Melways! TNLN.
Suscoe arrived here this morning.
In the end a quick find once the viewing of the area was done.
Well done for this hide.
Thanks to bel04 for bringing us here. We can't get over the endless housing development going on.

This was a rather nice little park, although it could have done with a picnic table. The cache was harder to find than we expected, and we didn't hang around long after that, as the wind turned rather cold. Thanks for the cache.
Took us a while to find this one - 2 of us looked at it without spotting it, before the 3rd twigged

A couple of crows were watching me today, but they were the only living things in the area.

Found by Mary & David at 1615. A few muggles washing cars or pottering in their gardens, but well clear of GZ and not the least bit interested in us. Our thanks once more to bel04.
Found after a great time at the event,

Found with the walenators before the Melton event. We missed it the first time around but collected it on the second sweep. The lady in a house nearby watched us the whole time so we had to be careful with our collection and placement. Hopefully this will last, thanks bel04.

The convey of five parked and everyone headed toward the exposed GZ – no hope of stealth or anonymity today. Cache located, log duly signed in company with 42below, oldwinebottle, lochb, simplymii, Reesylou, and PrincessDiala. Cached returned as muggle neighbours watched the activity from a distance. Not sure how long this one will last!

Found today with Bushfire and Snakecatcher at 12:10pm on our way up to 'Intervening Days 3'
Nice little walk on a great morning to a well hidden cache. Now it's off to the event for some lunch and a chat/catch up, Thanks bel04.

Found on a drive-by caching adventure after attending the event... Covert and I were muggled by a nosy neighbour and geomutt shortly after arriving.. We explained that along with the countless people before us we were doing a scavenger hunt and looking for clues. This satisfied his curiosity.... As we were leaving a power convoy of 14 cachers arrived in 5 cars.. much to our amusement, photo to follow.. My 754th find and 11th smiley of 19 for the day.. Thanks Bel04
I thought I looked at the right spot, but the Swaggies double checked and found what I didn't. TFTH...SL...TNLN
Found @12.25 on way to the Intervening Days III event. Nice easy find with Bushfire and Shane.Thompson. TFTC TNLN
Shane.Thompson, the Snakecatcher and he does remove snakes when they are too close to muggles and the ageing Bushfire headed up to Melton today to find a few caches and to meet old and new caching friends and to attend the Intervening Days Event.
Found this guy at 12.25 after a couple of minutes searching and we were not interrupted by the suspicious muggle. Log was signed and returned, thanks again bel04.

Quiet time of day with no-one to bother me. Found quite easily and left quickly.
Quite late at night when we drove up to this GZ.
A couple of houses nearby were partying, and the find was quickly found!
Luckily for us we were alone and no one was here to bother us!
Thanks again bel04.

A quick and very easy find. Pretty good chance cachers will be seen looking for this one unless they use extreme stealth as gz is very exposed. SL Thanks to bel04 for the cache!
