Time for this series to say good night - They have all managed to find their way home and thank you all for helping them on thier way!

Back through Bungendore this morning and took the opportunity to finally finish this series. Having found all the clue caches starting way back in November 2010 and the final clue cache in January 2011 it has been way too long in getting back to find GZ and the final cache. When I parked there was no one around and found the cache quickly. Exchanged swaps, thanks Puddle_Jumpers-PJ’s on an interesting tour around this lovely town. Big GrinBig Grin.

After several weeks of visits to Bungendore, I have done all but one of the leadup caches. Most were fun. I needed a bit of help to get my numbers in the right order as I had missed the location of a few values. After that it was a straight forward find. Thanks.

Well, had to resort to using the clue as the coords from the series did not help much. Fortunately I had my iPad with me so could hop online and check out...phew! After reading the clue, realized where I should have been and then the hardest bit was waiting for the vehicles nearby to move away. after a twenty minute wait, finally it was clear and I made the successful dash to retrieve the cache. Contents still damp but what can you do, no one expected this amount of rain this early on in the year! TFTC and the series Smile

A great series of caches!

07-Jan-11
no 12 and the finale for the Bungendore bit of the Bungendore/Bywong invasion. Our coords didn't work but the hint got us there. Have never seen a cache with so much water inside, literally 3/4 full. Could be something do do with the little lake next to the GZ - must have been some rain. Tealby put much effort into drying it out as much as we could and we didn't return some of the toys that obviously still had water in them. Will post a picture shortly of the line up having a sun bathe

It was great to get to Sesame Street and the finale of this series - the nice sizeable container to welcome us at GZ was also nice - but not so nice was its unusually heavy weight when I retrieved it & then discovered it was trailing water as I carried it back towards the car - the poor cache was almost full of water & everything was completely sodden. Luckily the log was in a plastic bag, so that wasn't too bad. We spent some time drying out the toys & container but I had to toss some of the contents that were not recoverable. Surprisingly the soft toys were able to be dried fairly well, but they may get a bit musty in the cache from any residual dampness, so further maintenance is suggested.

TFTC PJs - a fitting ending to the Sesame Street series.

PS The 2nd trackable (Twinkletoes) was definitely not in the cache when we visited today - there have been several visitors since it was placed there, so hopefully someone will log it out soon.

I think everyone's had something to do with Sesame Street as they were growing up. Its great to see this series dotted all over Bungendore.
I had alot of fun collecting all the caches, it proved to be a good tourist guide as well.

Once I'd grabbed all the required info I headed to a likely GZ. After waiting for a few muggles to go I had a look at my GZ but with no luck. Back to the car where reading the hint I was able to pin-point a better spot and presto. This was alot of fun.

Thanks

Got ALL the numbers required, then spent 50 minutes searching to no avail. SCOURED THE WHOLE AREA to no avail.
Now I read the clue at home - HUH - the 2nd MASSIVE one is 30m away ???????????????
HUH ??????????????????????

Will check coords with owner, something NOT RIGHT HERE.

After a very enjoyable afternoon around Bungendore it was great to find the last cache in the series. Dropped in a TB.

Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street?

Found by accident while wandering around the park! Checking later on the website shows that the cache says its about 1-2km away beside the creek... might need the coordinates updating. Oh, bring your own pen, so many things in the cache, but no pen or pencil so we couldn't sign the book.

After finding all of the clue caches today, before we left, we found this cache. The cache was easy to find. The clue really helped. Few muggles around. Cool cache. Took Henry's tickets in exchange for a frog. TFTC.Wink

found with csfamily on birthday run. needed other logs as the cordornites were very out

13-Dec-10
Yay! A little better planning would help as school was just out and the traffic was a little constant. Last find on our caching birthday adventure so time for cake and coffee. TNLN TFTC.

This took a few hours to do all of the required caches, and the GZ was a bit busy when I got there. I just took a seat and waited the most appropriate opportunity to recover and replace

Well this was a great little series around Bungendore with a couple of little challenges due to the recent rains but we got here in the end. The Coords did seem a little out but an easy find none the less. TFTC and the series.

Whoops - forget the TB

My first puzzle cache. I brought my wife to Bungendore for a romantic dinner at Le Tres Bon and a night at the Stone House. As she slept I snuck out and did the series in time to be back for breakfast. TFTCs

21-Nov-10
Well we did it, found the bunch all together in the end at the final GZ.

This was a great easy series thanks for showing me more of this small country town. Sat and had lunch at a cafe after doing this series. Was yummy. Had to wait for muggles to stop looking my direction to grab and put back the cache TFTC

On my first official caching day with Mummy and Fitzy (they joined me up today). We're doing the Sesame Street series and leaving some of the characters in the caches.
I left a lot of characters in this one: Snuffalapagus, Honker, Elmo, Baby Bear, Cookie Monster and Oscar the Grouch.
I really liked doing these caches. We're going to do some 'normal' ones now before we go home.

06-Nov-10
What a great series, Fitzy, the geo kid and myself have really enjoyed doing these today.
Thanks so much for setting them up. Brilliant! Smile

The 3 of us hit the Bungendore Sesame Street series to start with - this was the Puzzle ! - Really really had a good time doing the series around here - one happy geokid as well ! Thansk so much for setting it up Puddle_Jumpers-PJ's !

(As a side note - my 1000th NSW Cache find !)

after a mornings cache at last the final cache of the series, fortunately it was enabled that morning and even more fortunate I had the log to help us find the re-located position. We had to wait a bit as location was a bit exposed and nearby muggles made retrieval a bit conspicuous , but our patience was rewarded as they had there rest and we could grab and sign log in peace.

all in all a great mornings caching thanks Puddle Jumpers and thats PsychoKat and Slowdad for the company during the day. recommended few hours to get to know Bungendore.

I wasn't going to go for the this cache as I thought it was till off line. Mtrax told me otherwise and following the updated clue we had the cache in hand. I can't say quickly because we had to wait for some muggles to leave. Thank you for a great morning driving around Bungendore and an enjoyable series.

31-Oct-10
Found with mtax and the psychodaughter 14th cache of the day. I often stop here for a quick break I'll have to keep an eye out for others cachers now. TFTC and a good morning.

Yay, back on line. The cache has moved over and as you get to GZ if you look at the BIG tree behind you (it's massive) you will see a second one in the line that is quite mossy. It's in the same patch of bushes directly opposite that tree covered in pine needles. A big thanks to Mick for recovery of the muggled cache. We plan to change the co-ords as it now about 10m's down the line of bushes.

Ohh a sad day. Today Sesame Street was muggled. It has to now be taken off line untill Saturday morning when we may have to shift it, this will result in a changing of the clues, what a bugger - we might just make up an equation now you have to solve in odrer to not have to change every cache clue - will work on it. please be patentient while we work this out. Also, this is a good time to reiterate STEALTH is a must - however it could have been muggled by those who accidently found it, not sure buit a big thanks to Mick for the cache rescue - You get a path tag reward Smile.

MarkTwisted

Oh-the cache is actually unfindable as another cacher (Mick) has taken home so it definately is off line until at least Sat Morn.

19-Oct-10
After lunch and buying some lollies it was time to take the gang back to Sesame Street and
say goodbye so while I made sure the coast was clear to proceed Geo wife started sharing
the lollies around with the gang and sure enough they were hyped up on sugar and all took off
yet again. So sorry fellow cachers its up to you to get them back home to Sesame Street now.

The count would be happy this one made find Num 400 and was a great and fun puzzle series to do.
Many thanks to Team Buxton for letting me know about this one and of course Puddle Jumpers..Thank you

And just like the mournful mouth organ finishing each Seasame Street show, this series of caches has also come to an end.

Thanks Sol, The Fannies and Winglens for your humour and definitely the excellent singing…

Nice place to finish for the cache too.

Thanks Puddle_Jumpers-PJ's

By this time, we'd digested our brunch from the cafe and had explored the reaches of the housing development out there we never knew existed. Lots of fun, memories and lousy singing. Thanks team for a fun day out, and thanks PJ's for the series.

3683. [font=Comic Sans Ms][green]A quick find at the end of this series of caches that drew a bunch of mates and matesses out to this pretty town on a great day for a fun time caching. As usual a big thanks to Sol de Lune, Winglen, Zsazsa7 and FFP. Thanks guys always fun.

Just one last ramble. When I was just into secondary school, the little 3yo from nextr door used to come in to our place of an afternoon to watch Sesame Street. She would pull up a stool right in front of the TV. My mother would spoil her rotten and she knew every bit of the show. But.....In those days the test cricket was on ABC TV as well so Sesame Street wasn't on when the cricket was. Oh boy - could she throw a tantrum. "I want Sessy Steet" at the top of her lungs. So funny really.

Well, all the lead up caches were found and we headed back to find this one. No angry magpie around as Zsa Zsa made a quick for us.

Thanks PJ's for the series and leading us on trip around town. We had a fun time being out and about.

12-Oct-10
Great fun with this one, geo kid enjoyed finding all of the lead up caches. A word of caution, at the final GZ I got swooped by an angry magpie and had to give up this morning, thats why I came back this evening after dark when the anrgy bird was asleep.

I have finally managed to log all the finds Smile. Had a great day with TCG and GUIO.

Thanks Puddle Jumpers-PJs for the series.

Well what do you know, straight back to the park where we started the series at.
Much to the delight of the geokids however the geoadults decided it was time for a coffee so we headed back into town.

Thanks for a good day with good friends. We know Bungendore like the back of our hands now. Wink

To finish the day off we went to the 10/10/10 drive by event so had a big caching day.

Cheers.

And back to where we started from! What a great day and a great set of caches. Thanks for providing a reason to spend the day in Bungendore, exploring the local sights and enjoying it all with some good friends.

As Growing Up is Optional said, after completing this we headed into town for a coffee before The Clarke Gang returned to Braidwood - only to get inspired climb back inot the car to so we could get into Canberra in time for a 10/10/10 event.

Thanks again, great series of caches,

TCG

Reperio at 1630. Well after scooting around town picking up the 10 traditional caches, it was on to the final, and what a great spot for it. Certainly haven't been here before and it's great there's a cache here now.

Gratias.

Joint *FTF* with Black Bunny and Candy Cane 101. We had great fun going to all the caches, and collecting the required data for the final dash!
Candy Cane 101 especially enjoyed this series - too much for a 14 year old, I would have said, but it's the fun that counts, after all!
Thank you for all the work you put in to this series - well worth it, from our point of view!

A joint *FTF* with Just a Cacher & Candy Cane 101. After gathering the clues and observing the names in the logs in the series, we knew we would have to be quick to grab this one. After gathering the required information it was off to GZ to make the find. After the deed was done we decided to move off to the side and have a cuppa to enjoy the morning. SL Thanks for the series
