Ahhh, bugger.
Must have had this archived cache still in my device, and it hadn't updated. Surprisingly the cache container was still in place and made for an easy find.

As this cache has been in need of maintenance for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Nice wee walk. Cache definitely needs some TLC. Logged the bag rather than the paper.
TFTC. Log looked sodden so we logged our find on the bag. Definitely needs replacing. Cool place!
Found it with eldest daughter - log is really, really wet. Signed it as MM44 as not sure how long paper would hold for.
Very wet log found with eldest daughter. Signed it as mm44 as too wet for much more.
This find provided us with an unnecessary walk in the bush, before finding the right spot closer to the track than first thought. Log very soggy and needs replacing. Our entry may not be readable due to the wet paper.
Our 16th of the day. An easy find in a nice park - unfortunately we disturbed the family of slaters living by the cache! Despite the rain it wasn't as boggy as expected. TFTC.
Though its tempting I'd advise you to NOT jump the fence unless you want wet feet! TFTC
Out caching on a beautiful sunny day while my husband went to Wings over Wairarapa. #12 or 21 found in the day. A nice walk around this wetland. I spotted something a little out of place and..... there it was. TFTC.
(bindz01)Nice stroll with the family

Found on a very hot evening - the trees nearby are looking somewhat wilted, so I hope there's some rain soon to perk things up a bit in this reserve, as it should be looking very nice after a few more years growth. TFTC!
We took a short stroll this evening around the wetland and didn't do too well finding this cache. Turns out I was somehow reading the wrong hint so we looked in all the wrong places. Cutting our losses, we walked on to look for another cache and then on the way back, the light bulb lit up and we looked in the right spot finally! OK, so that's what a grove of rinus looks like It was interesting to hear that this was once a trout hatchery - what a good re-landscaping
Found cache lying on the ground, not tucked away. Have rehidden it. What a great reserve. We walked right around it all, an excellent initiative. TFTC
quite an appropriate cahe for me to find..My Dad's name was Percy! Lovely Board walk and area for future generations when these small totara trees frow tall etc. need to do the magic millenium another day when it is not raining!
What a fabulous reserve. The plantings here have obviously been well selected for their location because everything seems to be really thriving. The grove near the cache is actually kahikateas, one of my favourite large native trees (along with rimus and miros) and they all look great. I only noticed 1 rimu tree in my walk around the whole reserve which is a pity because they are particularly beautiful even in their juvenile form.
Anyway ... I loved this cache placement. The GPS did its job putting me in the right place but it still took a good bit of detective work, even helped by the hint, to locate the cache - a very satisfying smiley for this one, thanks Ikethebushman.
The log is in good dry condition but only has clear space for a couple more entries.

Found while touring the district with Biggles. A very nice place for a wander today. TFTC
Found this cache with Kiwi Explorer on a most enjoyable and productive three day caching raid in the Wairarapa. Apologies in advance for the rather template state of this log. We found over 200 caches in our visit which has left me with rather vague and blurred memories of some of them. Anything that really stood out will get a special mention. Could have been tricky but Mr KE put his hand on it nice and quickly. TFTC, Biggles.
Very enjoyable walk through the wetlands to Ike's Hide. It didn't stay hidden for long. Thanks.

Found on our successful "Wairarapa hundy cache tour" - one hundred cache finds in a day - with Waiiti20 and cadhakla. Found some other undesirables nearby as well. TFTC
Took some searching but got there eventually. Wasn't expecting to go off road in a QEII protected area. Found with NZABic and Biconz.
A planned detour to find this one for my "I" placer - they are not so easy to come by. Wasn't expecting to be in and out so quickly. I have walked round this reserve often in the past while working in Masterton and thoroughly enjoyed it each time. TFTC #2842
Decided that I would do this cache today, this was the second time I have attempted doing this one as I tried it a while back but didn't have any luck. Arriving near GZ today after following the walkway around after entering though the gateway to follow the walkway and was quite surprise that it really didn't take too long to walk to GZ. Arriving at GZ and due to the fading light I was about to use the touch but spotted a white lid and checked it out and realised that it was the cache, really glad to finally get this one off my list, thanks for bringing me here to this lovely little park, always worth a visit, TFTC TNLNSL (3475)
It was geting a bit gloomy under to cover and we didn't have the torch so will have to return another day.
We enjoyed our walk around this wee gem of a place. And to cap it, we now have an "I" for our A to Z cache hider challenge. Thanks Ike!
#2307. Hardest part of the cache was finding out way into the reserve (which we enjoyed exploring). TFTC.
Had me moving around a bit but had the prize in hand soon enough not all that happy to trample the undergrowth. TFTC Lost my pen in the bush so took a photo of the log in hand if the owner would like me to send this to you.
I had visited here a while ago to find another cache. I certainly didn't mind returning especially since it was a very summery late autumn day.
We have been in this reserve before. It is a great example of bush regeneration.Had to search around to find cache.Thanks.
The kids loved looking for this one... need to search for a bit we got there at the end. Enjoyed the walk.TFTC
Finally got to do this one, as it is so close we should of got to sooner, easy find, as wander around the tracks. TFTC
Quick & easy find.
TFTC.
This reserve is a worthwhile place to visit; my children especially like to explore it labyrinthine paths.

Found during the great Wairarapa weekend cacheathon. Enjoying the wonderful Wairarapa again, a fantastic time, so thanks for bringing us here.
Cache find was straight forward, and cache all in order; rehidden safely as found after signing the log.
TNLN
TFTC - found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

My second time in this pleasant reserve - found the other cache a while back. I hadn't noticed I was looking for a micro, so was expecting something bigger in this secluded area.

Plenty of room in this reserve for something a bit bigger? A nice spot though, think I might have visited before.

A quick find on a day's cache hunting in the Wairarapa with CrystalFairy. Drove to the nearest point rather than the reserve entrance, then needed to climb over the fence to get it. Wouldn't have wanted to do this if it had been raining recently, the ground was boggy in places even today. Signed log, TFTC
Did with agcnz on a day long caching trip. Glad it was an easy find and not hidden a few meters away.. T4TC
#153 - A quick find. We've been in here before to find the other cache! Great little place. The signs and seat at the entrance are new since we last visited as well. Thanks for bringing us back here. SL TFTC...
A pleasant short, and dry, walk through the wetlands and a quick easy find, despite the wasp hovering around the cache location. TFTC
I have visited here previously to find the other cache hidden nearby. No problem finding this one - TFTC
Congratulations on your first hide. I love this area, I walk here quite often TFTC.
ps: YIPPEE!!! another FTF

Enjoyed exploring the walkway to the cache. Spied the geo-trail on the long grass near GZ and suspected that someone had come before us. Sure enough, Skindo had nabbed a FTF. Well done Skindo! Thanks ikethebushman for the cache.
