Looks like this is gone. If it was attached to the power fixture here I'm thinking it would be outside the guidelines without owners permission. No response from CO so far to NMs. Logging this to bring to reviewers attention.
Came down to do the ZFPT but hadn't realised our PQ radius didn't reach (100klm) so we came here to do the Narra Lakes and Badger caches instead.
No luck here.
No luck here.
This is the second time we came here with friends. And this time it's gone. There is a brand new lock on the box. So the maintenance crew might have removed it.
DNF. One of our party called his parents who had found it earlier and it's definitely gone.
Could the co pls check if it's still there, just write a note in my previous dnf-log, thx
Nope not for me, had the power all to myself and search cm by cm, than the ground but nothing
Maybe a check would do?
Thx anyhow I truly enjoy the walk around this lake, great!!!

Found on a run to Sydney's Northern Suburbs with The Rats and Hoojar as The Rats pushes towards 10,000 finds.
We managed to pick up all the caches along the top of the lakes here. Thanks!

With The Rats closing in on his event to mark 10,000 finds, he asked steeba and I to accompany him on one last push to get closer to that number. The Northern Beaches of Sydney was our target
After a couple of DNFs it was nice to log a find again!
Cheers

Out for a days caching in the Northern Suburbs with steeba and Hoojar. In an attempt to bolster my numbers prior to the 10k event we tackled a few heavily populated caching areas.
We headed along the windswept coastline collecting a few caches. Having come up as far as Narrabeen it was time head inland and back towards the city. A quick find in the obvious spot. Sorry for the generic log, it certainly doesn't detract from the cache.
Thanks

Spent the last couple of weeks recovering from the Oz Mega adventure. Made my way down the thin black line again early this morning, To the Northern Beaches around Narrabeen with a view to pick up some of the Badger Series and others of opportunity. The trip brought back some memories, Used to Sailboard on the Lakes and kneeboard off Dee Why Point. Mind you that was in the days before paid parking, Greedy little buggars. Great cache. TFTC
ANZAC Day caching along the northern shores of Lake Narrabeen; picked up 8 caches, mostly Badgers starting with the new trio. All of today's caches were simple, quick finds, so I'm just going to do the one log and copy/paste it. A very pleasant afternoon for a stroll, with the light rain stopping just as I parked. The caches were:
1. Badger's Retreat (12:56 PM; Cache #1491)
2. Badger's Bannister (1:01 PM; Cache #1492) 3TF
3. Badger's Bounty (1:07 PM; Cache #1493)
4. Badger's Goat Gruff (1:14 PM; Cache #1494)
5. Badger's Baton (1:20 PM; Cache #1495)
6. Badger's Causeway (1:26 PM; Cache #1496)
Then a short look for Superb Spot #2 but as the vegetation was all wet, didn't want to get too involved in the hunt, so not worth logging a DNF. Turned around and walked all the way back, and then some:
7. By The Lake (2:00 PM; Cache #1497)
8. Badger's Retreat (2:06 PM; Cache #1498)

Luckily I've seen a few of these before so I didn't spend too long searching. A great container

Quick drive by on the way out to lunch. Beautiful park area, but surprised at having to pay for parking. TFTC
A great bacon and egg roll, best of the year, from cooh I think (or something like that, I don't know, I'm not a local). A bit cool and windy, pretty messy out on the water. Headed back to my friends place. As I began my trip back to the hills, parked at palm terrace for a couple of caches. Made the find easily. Signed and returned. TFTC.
Smoke on the Water #3 - The sky was filled with bushfire smoke as we drove to the Northern Beaches for Saturday morning squash for geoson and a family bike ride for the rest of us. It was a beautiful sight as the swans drifted in and out of view; the other side of the lake was masked by the haze. A great ride with little to no gradient so the whole family could enjoy it without getting tired out.
The last one for this bike ride. As we had the doggie with us I left the family with her and scooted ahead to get the car. The sanctuary meant we couldn't bring her through here. I rode across to make a quick find thanks to the hint. A cache that fits perfectly into its environment.

Sent geowife off to find this one while I made adjustments to the kayak on the roof racks. Having seen this camo before, geowife said that it was an easy find! TFTC.
Nice park, after paddling around the lake I pulled in here for a quick park and grab. Spied the cache on approach to GZ. Always love these.
Nice hide and quick find. We all enjoyed the cockatoos and also spotted a rainbow lorakeet. Thrilling for us Americans!
Found while on a bike ride around the lake, a good piece of work this one - nice cache!! Many thanks. SL
So many cockatoos! My brother scared all of them and around 25 cockatoos flew over our heads (we ducked to avoid possible droppings haha). TFTC!
Must be very well hidden. Doesn't help that there is so much rubbish on the ground.
Nice quick find while in the area. Smart camo! Log ripped but dry, week of no rain obviously helped! SL. TFTC
Great bike ride at the end of the school holidays - forth of 6 caches we are trying to find along the lake.
Great hide. First time looking with the kids and didn't find it. Went back and had a closer look and found it at last.
I've seen a few of these but, standing too close and expecting something else, didn't spot it immediately. TftC
Cycled up here from Dee Why around the lagoon. Sneaky little hide - complements the variety of other caches hidden along the bike track.

We parked across the road but it took ages before it was safe to cross. TFTC.
As soon as Geo-Boy read the clue, he headed straight over to the geo-zone. It took a moment to find, however. Great spot, TFTC.
Searched thoroughly, seemingly disappeared, wonder wether its been moved or hidden by fallen trees. Could anyone confirm? Thanks
Out on a ride along the Parkway with a bit of time to spare. What a great camo! Love it!. Fairly quick find. I hope the tradie who was parked near by didn't suspect anything TFTC
If was certainly busy as we struggled to get a park. So over we went to Narras Majical Place. Luckily we had the geo kids as cover. A great little play ground. We soon zeroed in on the hid and then spotted it. We sent the kids in for cover as a stealth move and then walked away to complete the signing duties. We re hid in reverse. TFFC
Coming over from Narras magical place it was a short walk to By The Lake. Fortunately we had seen this hid before so mad a quick find helped by no muggles nearby. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

Having visited Narra's Magical Place, went to find this cache while on a brief stop in this park that I used to windsurf at about 20 years ago. Really good camo, enjoyed looking for and finding this one. TFTC SL.
Great camo, although I have seen this one before so CJ and I found it quickly. TFTC
Went looking for this after finding the other one in this park area. A clever hide and have not seen one of these before. TFTC.
Quick find whilst on a sailing course with scouts

# 2287. Second find for the day caching with Robmc on the way to Barrenjoey Lighthouse. This area was quite busy already when we arrived. Luckily our GPS's led us to other areas away from the water. Liked the hint and we made a quick find here. Always like this hide. Have seen a few times now and it's a great camo and should remain muggle-free. TFTC
Travelling to Barrenjoey for a walk up the hill with Bettyboo3747, and we grabbed a few on the way.
By the time we got to the lake there was already a large group set up by the shore - they looked like they were going to there all day. Fortunately, the cache was back towards the road.
Nice hiding container.
Thanks, Robmc.

2nd find of 7 today
Nice easy find, only the second time we've come across one of these cache containers.

Still in the area, and once I'd found the other cache close by, realise this was 180m away. Walked over and into the bush. Then checked the hint. Walked back around and spied the cache. Made the find, SL and replaced. Thanx R70au, classic hide. TFTC.

Able to grab this one as we started our walk around the northern side of the lake. Good track for walking and bikes but wish they'd use their bell so you know they're coming as the track is narrow. Plenty of good spots to stop and enjoy the scenery or have lunch. Lots of water birds on the lake today!
Reperio at 1025.
Arrived at the parking area surrounded by muggles everywhere. I was thinking I may have to leave this one for another time until I looked at the GPS which was reading 100m away. Wandered over and immediately spotted the cache. Blends in ok here, and its in a good spot well away from passers by.
