After searching for awhile with moving old vegetation with sticks and searching under everything. We came up empty handed.
Found container lid broken and full off water needs new container and log book but location is awesome got good photos
Parked 100 metres out and Found a rough track to GZ. So was not too hard to reach on foot. Can balance on the old logs and spent some time looking under what was left of the bridge before cache spotted up higher near razer grass. Container needs some TLC which is not surprising as was 504 days unloved before today. A spot worthy of a cache so hope it keeps going. TFTC.
Hi there Razzam.
We found your cache **"Old log bridge"** today. (This makes our find count 23610).
After stopping in at Picton to get fuel we initially decided to grab some caches on a "next closest" route. After tiring very quickly of "urban micros" we decided to move further afield and find some larger ones.
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends. Thanks also for not placing a mint tin or a 200ml Sistema here. It made us feel really good to find this "special" cache here.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The cache was soaked, we spent some time drying it out, but it still needs some "Owner TLC".
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thank you Razzam for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Thanks for showing us this interesting old bridge. Love these old caches that are in a interesting spot I wouldn’t have found otherwise
Cache 3 of 6 we found today with Pollythecollie. Plenty of water flowing under the old bridge today
Grabbed this whilst in the area to grab the snake island cache.
Thanks for the hide.
Thanks for the hide.
Out with B12 and Jackyleggs44 getting a few caches in the collie area. This was on the todo list.
After not going the distance when camping in the area a return has seen the find

Picked up this cache after spending a couple of hours down at the dam, good to see that parts of the bridge are still alive. Tftc. container in good condition, the old container was under the new one.
A quorum of the Fott was here so we are retrospectively claiming the find. If that's an issue let us know.
While staying at Potters Gorge for the 'BYO Marshmallows' event (GC7ME2K) a few of us went out to get our caching fix, some Ready Player One's were on the list as well as the odd one here and there.
KrabiBoy did the leg work to get to this one.
Razzam I found your cache at 3:17pm, this was the 8th of 9 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 4795. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Didn’t take too long to find this one when I approached it from the proper side.
The Fellowship of the Trail decided that it was time to arrange another camping event. I checked the dates and made sure I would be home from work.

Out this way for my event, there was a bit of a break in the rain so a group of us headed out to nab a cache or two.
Cool spot, thanks

This camping trip is so long overdue. The Fellowship of the Trail had been talking about it for so long and a date had finally been set. So with an event at Potters Gorge, there were nearby caches to be found.
A motley crew headed out for this one as it was in the area.
Parked up about 100metres away and wandered down where KrabiBoy made the find
Razzam, Kyzabra found your cache Old log bridge, at 3:16 pm on 26/5/18. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!
We’d love to see you at WA GOES BIG 2018 in Dunsborough on the weekend of 13th/14th October.

Omg if the geo kids stopped taking selfies this would never have taken as long
Thank you for bringing us to this Bea place

We had a bit of a road trip planned for today which had us heading south as far as Boyup Brook! This was one of the caches that we targeted for the day and we had no trouble here. TFTC
G’day there Razzam, I was in this area today and found your cache Old log bridge GC2G44M. I added my name to the log book at 9:55 am on 4 February 2018. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!

The area was nice and dry and the cache easily accessible but sadly the contents are soaking wet.
TFTC Razzam this is find # 3784 for us.

Well out of the water today. The log is safe & dry but the box with the toys in is very wet, which upset Fra as he wanted to play with them. TFTC
Well, as promised, we came back, and travelled via Sky Rd from the Coalfields rd. A good little 4wd through the bush.
Hadn't realised it before, but I've been through here before when I was a muggle. The creek was dry today, so had no problems finding the cache.
The log was a little damp and a bit mouldy, but still perfectly signable.
Thanks for another great bush cache Razzam

Out geogaching with the guys, found this one a nice little way off the track. TFTC. Hayden, Glenn and Gage
About to turn off Wellington dam road onto polo road and there was a sign saying no off road vehicles allowed. So didn't risk it. However, a bit of a Google maps exploring later revealed you can get here via sky road without seeing no access signs... We'll be back >:)
Tftc and merry Christmas. Out the weir camping so took the new 4wd geo mobile for a spin thru the bush to the old log bridge. A nice place to visit and a nice quick find.
Tftc nice easy find after a drive thru the scrap on blaze169 new 4wd. Didn't want to scratch her so parked up and walked the last 100 mtrs. Great old bridge. Merry Christmas.
Searching for a new camping spot collecting caches along the way. Thanks for the find
We joined forces with richlink and JacobsCrew2 for a group caching excursion, we found this one after a short stroll. Thanks Razzam.
I just don't know why we haven't done this cache in the past. Easy to negotiate the track and then a short stroll to gz. It was gorgeous this morning, dew clinging to the ferns and leaves. Lovely spot, thank you for sharing it with us. Thanks Razzam
Love these sorts of caches. Two of the frogs had escaped from the red container so we put them back!
Thx Razzan. Great spot. Last thing I expected was old log bridge in such a excluded place.
Found this cache in this gorgeous little place well there were two caches! A red one and a white one - creek bed dry and sat for abit in the lush shade
My favourite caches feature the bush, history and hidden treasures. This cache combined all three and I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks razzam
Out today with ~Tango~ on a bit of a mystery tour, with the vague idea of heading down Collie way. Never quite got into Collie, though we skirted around the area picking up the odd geocache along the way. This was one of them, and one that I really enjoyed. Such a lovely spot, and so unexpected. Found the cache no problems. Thanks Razzam
We drove as far as we could on the 4wd track, then walked the last 60m. We found the running water & sent the GeoKiddies in to retrieve!
We had to get a couple of caches while up at Wellington Dam this weekend with friends:)
It's always fantastic weather in WA so plenty of opportunities to cache but we just need to stop doing stuff all the time & actually cache! It's hard to dedicate time to caching when there's so much fun stuff to do in WA!

Great place... wouldn't know that it was their and still wouldn't it... thank you for the cache
Found cache and picked up Alvin the Alligator. We will take Alvin to some warmer waters in the coming weeks so watch this space!
I really love the location of this one - another spot I would not have found if not for geocaching. Thank you so much

It's interesting to read the old logs...
Did we approach from the "better" side of the bridge ? It was *easy* to get to ! Course the creek was dry The cache was within a metre of GZ. Easy to spot. And there are *two* caches ! Apparently the "old" and the "new"... sitting side by side. And geo-wife says, the white container is used for transporting blood samples between hospitals...
Thanks for the great location !

We where heading this way to do the earth cache and saw a new listing but as we got closer realised it was a bush bash for a nano with poor co-ords and no hints plus pur device plotteded it in the water so we gave it up. We saw a road near this one and got to with in 100m before we had to walk. We found the old bridge and the caches soon afterwards. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

Geo-hubby took a drive on some country roads, to pick up a few 'out of the way' caches.
A great day out, visiting some dams, some swimming holes and some country towns,
arriving back to the caravan after dark.
He found a good variety of hides and this cache was in good condition.
Not much of the bridge left, but you can certainly see what it was.
Took the only trackable, but it was not the one listed.
Thanks for the cache, Razzam.

Sly & Zed found it whilst on a 3 day break away from home to Collie....Took the Minnesota GeoCoin TFTC
TFTC Razzam. Who would have known that these remnants of an old bridge were here if you had not brought us here? Parked reasonably close and walked in the last 80 metres or so. Nice easy find, in a great spot. Signed log and left a Geocoin TB from Minnesota USA. Re-hid the cache more concealingly.
Nice walk in bush, Mrs Crump entertained us with her seek & reach abilities with a near slip in the water.
lovely walk in the bush. mrs crump made it entertaining by nearly having an accidental swim in the stream. tftc
On the way down to the dam I decided to divert a bit and find this cache. Was quite slippery but managed to find and sign the log without falling in.
Thanks Razzam for the cache.
Thanks Razzam for the cache.
Lovely location in the bush. I left behind a travel bug that I picked up in Tassie earlier this year.
We turned left onto the first turn off of Polo Road from Wellington Dam road, drove about 800 metres and turned left into Sky Rd, and parked the gemobile about 80 metres from the cache. Then walked down a short track which is tending to get a bit overgrown towards the creek bed, and found this historic old bridge. The cache was quickly found....no water in the creek bed at all (as yet) and the log signed.
The road in was definitely OK for a 2 wheel drive (it was also nice and dry). We then continued along Polo Road which quickly became 4x4 territory. As long as 2 wheel drives retrace there steps back to Wellington Dam road the conditions are fine...at least when the road is dry. Not sure what it would be like in the wet.
many thanks for the hide Razzam [^]

Staying the week in Collie and not having much luck with the caches in town I thought I would try my luck a bit further out. Sky Rd doesn't get much these days or the old log bridge. Had trouble unscrewing the lid but I persisted and eventually SL #709 on find streak day #198 TFTC
We spent the morning nearby travelling in the Wellington NP with Luna Maya and we decided we would make a small detour here and have some lunch Without our little kidlets we had a change of priorities and headed off to find the cache first
The track is quite overgrown, but that added to the fun! After climbing all over the logs I was standing on the largest one when I spotted something that looked "not natural" [^] Sure enough, Jase went in to inspect and found the little treasure
TFTC Razzam. Luckily we have had no rain for a long while as I'm sure that would have made things real interesting Cache is in good condition and dry.

Our extreme 4x4 adventure over and time for another cache and a picnic lunch. What a beautiful location . 3 of us searching under and over ! Spotted by Janine, cache found, SL. TFTC Razzam
GPS was playing up a bit due to the tree cover. Had me dancing around a merry circle. Checked all the obvious spots first without luck. Then ventured farther investigating other suitable abodes also without luck. Then some 10M from GZ, I spied something rather unnatural. It had to be it! And the spoils were mine
took Frisbee, left kaleidoscope and signed log.

Great spot! We drove the dirt track then walked the last bit!! Great fun. Tricky hidden spot
Not immediately obvious in amongst the bush and the reeds and the water and once spotted required a bit of agility to retrieve.
Nice little spot although retrieving the cache was a bit tricky. Thanks Razzam, TNLN
Nice spot off the beaten track. Took a while to find but worth the effort. TFTC
How on earth did you find this place?? I felt like I was entering a magical portal to Narnia. Didn't spot any talking beavers or fantastical creatures but the log bridge was pretty sweet. Glad we came when it was dry, would have been a messy episode if it were wet.

Looked all over and under both side and up and down the stream with no luck. I think this baby has gone ??????????????
No luck in find it. Area has overgrown since I last went to this cache last year. Need a machete to move around (well, not quite that bad). Too wet and full of water to do a more detailed investigation.
Found today with a new recruit to geocaching. We took the drive in option, and parked about 40m away. Thanks Razzam. We must return soon to find the others scattered around the dam. TNLN
Had a 'darn hard time looking for this one, I think I had walked over it a dozen times before I had seen it!
And to add to that, it was my first cache find!
Was good fun, easy to get to by car, and a challenging find.
Just wrote in the book, didn't take or place any items.
Cheers for the cache Razzam!
