Logs
Logging the mint tin as it's removed from the hide. A couple of trads in the area now. TFTC
RAOK cause célèbre. The bridge is slowly loosing it's blue. Camo'd mag micro drop with full copy of log. Still in place after a year.
Sixth caching stop as Tufty and I rode the Clutha Gold Trail to Beaumont, and our second DNF in Millers Flat. This one shouldn't ever have passed my GSAK filter. The last 'finder' didn't really find the cache! Another that should be archived to stop the run of DNF's for a cache that is obviously not there.
The lack of action by the CO to the string of DNFs means this cache should be archived.
Waypoint points to NW corner of bridge, i believe. Judging by number of names tagged on underside, I agree that it's gone a walking....
DNF lots of evidence of kids playing under here so perhaps it has gone walkabout.
A straightforward find on our drive to Dunedin. The log book is almost full and will need replacing soon. TFTC
Made a quick stop on the ride from Pinders Pond to Beaumont. An excellent new ride to add to the hugely successful Otago Rail Trail. TFTC Onslow Fisherman.
We had a nice stop here. It was a very warm day and we bought some ice cream, what huge scoops for that price! For some reason we couldn’t find the cache, can’t believe it. In Finland we would call that “puusilmä” (piece of a wood in the eyes) – sometimes you just don’t see the cache even though you should. Thanks anyway, nice bridge!
I drove past here in 10/2011 but there was a motorcyclist sitting right where i wanted to be - turns out it was another geocacher but I passed on.
Really pleased to find this cache today - before setting off to see the famed Lake Onslow.

After craft market... Nice historic find. Sunshine makes caching more fun. Cheers.
A quick find as we returned to Dunners via the Millers Flat-Beaumont back country road. The local kids seem to hang out here judging by the graffiti.
Nice hide.

A small detour on the way back to Dunedin after competing in the middle distance event of the Otago orienteering champs. Quickly found. TFTC.

It was rather nice that some one can think past white as a colour to paint the local bridge. Our GPS took us within a few meters of the rolled steel joist, and sure enough, there was our quarry. Thanks Onslow fisherman.. tight lines !
The first of our finds in the township of Millers Flat. The weather was lovely today, all the locals were sitting out on their porches enjoying the heat. Luckily no one could see what we were doing from their porches. I managed to beat the junior dakotacat to this one - my only victory for the day! TFTC
Another wonderful day for a Guzzi Ride. This weekend we decided to head out towards Roxburgh. Was able to pull up really close on the motor bike but had to take helmet off to retrieve the cache. Our tenth of eleven finds today.
Nice bridge. Thanks for bringing me to this location.
Thanks for placing this cache!

Great place to stop and give THor and bit of time to stretch legs while we hunting for GZ, quickly found and logged. TFTC!
A bit of an effort to get this one today as we ended up on the wrong side of the bridge. A quick back track and we had it in our hands. We replaced the log here too so that Gould keep all happy for a while. TFTC OF.
I looked for this about 15 months ago but don't recall coming anywhere near where I found it today. We turned off SH8 to cross the bridge and were well on it when a ute appeared on the other side. The signs gave us the right-of-way but the ute just kept coming. We had to back up. Looks like the locals think they have right-of-way at all times regardless of the signs. TFTC.
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
We pulled up in the park, and after a short walk over, we spotted the cache nice and quickly A very nice old bridge indeed

17:00 JC Cache Dawg had a run around the park & sniffed out the cache - actually, he did... Cheers, GC.
We found this cache as part of our NZ Mega Event adventure as we were slowly making our way back to Christchurch to fly home. We had spent the night in Gore and initially thought we would not be able to find any caches today due to the wind and rain. Just as we were heading out of town though, the sun broke through and we were able to slip a few finds in as we headed north. We were able to locate the cache quickly enough and with the log signed, we jumped back into our cache mobile and were off again. Thank you for having placed the cache Onslow Fisherman
Last day of our MEGA cache raid so we decided to head further south before our flight home tonight.
The bridge is almost the same colour as the water. Busy local shop with a great old building closeby TFTC.

This is a busy bridge! The log is full, but we managed to find a spot to sign. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
Managed to get our hands on this, in between all the cars and cyclists that is. Found with debsnz
Found on a Labour Weekend motorhoming and caching trip with kevnic and whiskers and petal. TFTC
Found it while on a geocaching trip with Kev n Chris and Kevnic. Interesting history. TFTC
Another quick find before heading back south on SH6. Walked over from near the supermarket, Anna bolted ahead and made the find. It's a great river here, I wonder how the locals get back from the pub on the highway side at night after a few with no pedestrian walkway. Thanks Onslow Fisherman.
Cache number #42 on my Mega expedition to the South Island. Nice bridge and a specific clue meant it was recovered without becoming roadkill. Similar cache near Thames. TFTCSL
Found on wet day find one

That river sure looked tempting! I'm not used to it being so hot in NZ. I have so enjoyed the sunshine and warmth of this region. I also have really enjoyed all these cool bridges! TFTC.
Quick stop. Remember coming here as a kid for netball and rugby tournaments. A favourite event. TFTC

I bypassed this one - a motorcycle was parked and the rider looked well ensconced; at the next cache the MB arrived and it turned out to be another cacher - only the 2nd time in 530+ caches that I've actually come upon someone else!.
Found on our first time caching overseas. We have just arrived home from 2 weeks abroad and enjoyed our trip around caching in New Zealand. TFTC.
Finally found this one! I see the hint has changed and made it a lot easier to find this time around! TFTC.
I watched a 44 tonne truck and trailer unit cross this bridge. Reckon the blokes who designed and built this bridge would not even have imagined vehicles this big.
