Followed co-ords to chopped down tree - why would someone do that - anyway couldn’t find cache. Could owner please check that it’s still there
Neat things in the container!! it’s such a shame someone has cut the pohutakawa tree down
Had a lovely wander down the beach from the Domain on my last day of the holiday period with the intent of locating this cache. There were lots of people out swimming and on the beach but nobody around the area I was headed to, so it was easy to have a good search about. Heard a bit of a 'thonk' and there it was. A good hide thanks.
Easy find pity some idiot has gone and cut down the trees around it,obviously spoiling their view.
Came out with Anne & Lucy for a lovely walk along the beach. Great to feel the sand between my toes. Picked up a few caches on the way back to the car. Anne takes credit for this one.
Thanks for placing.
Thanks for placing.
This one took a few minutes at GZ, looked right at it but didn't see it. Came back round and saw it, it has good cover.
On a trip over the Kaimais to escape the fog/rain & enjoy some lovely mid-winter BOP sunshine instead. Amazing views today - thanks for bringing me here. Nice quick find too. Cache signed & replaced as found, TFTC
Decided to wander around the beach and sand dunes this afternoon to pick up the rest of the caches along Papamoa Beach. I had a muggle sister wander along with me with her hula hoop doing her hooping tricks a few metres away from where ever I stopped to hunt. I must say it was a good cover/distraction for any other muggle passers by. Bit of an adventure to get to this one as it was well off the track! Found with my feet as a previous cacher did. Thanks for the cache, very well hidden
Boy did I take the wrong track (no track)
Black Berry Bushes 1....Tomb Raider 0. Finally arrived at cache with Mr Froggy and dejavu. I've been here before. Tftf again.

I have learnt that no amount of searching will locate cache if you have multiple structures and you are looking around the wrong structure.

This is very well hidden. Disturbed a lot of pheasants! Searching for a while. Getting really frustrated then a sound under foot sounded like something there. Sure enough. Don't worry it's all good. Grab the coin to move on. Tftc
GPS brought us straight here but it still took about 10 minutes to find the very well hidden cache. Dropped a geocoin and a favourite point. TFTC.
Nice walk to come here.
Started looking at the wrong spot, went over to the right spot but still couldn't find it directly. Good covered, left as found after signing the log

2534 Enjoying the walk in the dunes. This one took some time to find. Thankful when I did. Good view today.
Nearly dnfed due to not looking hard enough. Widened search area but came back to gz a third time before finally stumbling in the cache. Nice wee stroll here with thescoobydoos and of course geo-dog. Tftc
Tftc. Found but took a while. Hint had us hunting in the wrong spot, unless the cache has crept? Not at base of anything noticeable?
Enjoying a quick trip down to the beach! Out with Delshell to drops few TBs off that we picked up in Taupo. TFTC
Out on a quick visit to beach with Jackson3118 to find suitable caches to drop TBs picked up in Taupo. Dropped GC
Another find on a beautiful warm sunny day. Left a couple of rugby cards as trades.Tftc
I remember camping on Motiti Island for my 4th form school camp. Could have relaxed under the tree in the sun taking in that view forever. Thanks for the stroll down memory lane
No Motiti view today as a heavy sea fog. A very nice walk along the beach to grab this cache. TFTC

Joined up with yorkshirekiwi83 today and headed down to Papamoa and Mount Maunganui for a long day of caching. We arrived in Papamoa early in the morning and then spent the rest of this hot summers day making our way to The Mount and finding what caches we could along the way. A quick find of the cache here, while on our travels. TFTC!

After spending the weekend at the mount, spent a couple of hours on the beach at Papamoa, braving the high winds and looking for a few caches. Started from the Domain and walked East, this was our second to last find, easy one. Walking on the beach barefeet in the sand is OK, but around in the dunes there is a bit of debris and prickles and I'm starting to feel it!
In the mount for the weekend we decided to explore Papamoa beach. Lovely tidy area and we have a great day for it (though the wind nearly knocked us off our feet!). Spotted easy. Thanks
I can see why the dog likes this area ...heaps of pheasants to sniff out and chase, nice easy find here and Cache in good condition stirred up quite a few pheasants on the way in great little cache thanks
Out keeping my streak going and have no decided that I will hit paps just before midnight and get one cache then get the other just after midnight and tick off 2 days

7041. Out for a day's geocaching in the Tauranga area with Nodo (David and Noelene) from Waihi. This was our eleventh cache find of the day. We had it in hand very quickly and signed it off. Now off to find a some others in the area. Thanks. Rodney and Iris.
2.05pm. We are spending the day in Tauranga with "Sallies" from Christchurch. A bit of a walk through the dunes from the dune drifter for a quick find here. Container was home to a heap of cockroaches but we tipped them out.
Thank You David and Noeline.
Thank You David and Noeline.
Muggle sightings aplenty - had to be stealth. Setting of the flare seemed to do the trick.. thanks
Out for a numbers mission in and around The Mount and Papamoa with 11HPG11 and iammrwalker today. With a very early start of 5am agreed on, it was going to be a long day compounded by the All Blacks playing before we left which meant a 3am alarm being set the night before. We all had a great time and a lot of laughs were had in between some frustrating hides, a really enjoyable multi and a couple of great field puzzles. All in all a very successful day with only a handful of DNF's, the weather keeping at bay for most of the day and 86 new smiles added to the map in a little under 13 hours of caching. We signed the cache log "Hi 1" an acronym of our caching names. A big thanks to all the cache owners for placing some great caches.
Out on a numbers mission with HKCB and Iammrwalker to clear out some of the caches in Tauranga/Papamoa area. We left Hamilton at 5am and had a full day of caches, a few DNFs, a refreshing swim in a pond and a whole lot of laughs. We signed logs as 'HI1' as an acronym for our caching names to save log space. Thanks to all the cache owners for the great variety of caches, puzzles and locations
Great views of Motiti thanks. Another great spot to visit. Thanks for the hide

Have replaced cache container and log book. The old container was also found and I put some of the salvageable toys in the new container.
Please rehide well.

Took awhile to find this one as GPS pointing in wrong direction at first. Then spotted something of interest ...... a half eaten full of bugs log book!! Have signed and left hanging on a tree next to a pair of knickers that were hanging in the tree lol. Maintenance required!! Tftc
Nice quick find as per description. Not many people out on an overcast Easter Monday. That's good for me. TFTC.
Out and about exploring the area on a lovely sunny day. This one was well hidden, took us quite a while to uncover its hidey spot. Great views from here. SL. TFTC.
We were out for a bike ride and decided to do some caching while we were out, we found this one pretty easily but it is a nice place for a hide, TFTC
Thought we would get the bikes out and go for a ride today, so we rode down Papamoa Beach Road ducking in to the beach for the odd cache or two... or ten. It's not a bad road to cycle on. Found this one pretty quickly but when I picked it up there was a cockroach sitting on top, gave me a bit of a fright. Shook it off though and got on with the job. Thanks for the cache.
