Along with Team Crackers we were the last to leave. We noticed a Bolle Jacket on the corner of one of our chairs and it appears someone
has left it behind. My mobile No is Coffee hotline 0401 496649 if the owner would like to contact me to get it back.

#7 of 13 finds on our trip down to Cape Paterson for the event today.
It was great to meet up and chat with so many other people that share the same interest and passion. Meeting up with geocachers that live locally to me is something I enjoy and discussing local hides.
The weather helped make this a successful day and well done to pprass for the organisation of the event.

We thoroughly enjoyed catching up with old friends and making new ones. A really enjoyable day, nice people, great weather and a few challenges.
Thanks Peter and Cat for organising this one. Managed to get the burrs out of the shoes and shoe laces.

thanks to pprass for organising this event. It gave myself and Hearse068 a chance to meet up with fellow cachers and to put some names to faces. Had some laughs at funny stories that we heard. We hope to attend more events in the future. Thanks again pprass from Gonefishen07
This was cache # 15 of 18 on our trip along the bass coast. It was great to catch up with all my caching friends who have given me so much support through some tough times over the last two years. My thanks to pprass for the cache.
Thanks Pete & Cat for putting on this great event it was our first ever and we had a good time meeting other geocacher. THANKS AGAIN
Met up with the usual suspects, and met some new ones. This was a beaut spot for an event, and the fickle weathter of late behaved itself too. Thanks for a well organised event.
Didn't look too promising early on, but the weather really was perfect for this event. After a relatively brief time socialising and a relatively long time attending the World's Slowest Barbeque, we headed to the beach for "a quick walk along the sand". 2 hours later, we came back to the event, sunburned, dripping wet and with sand in all the wrong places, just in time for an expedition to the ice cream shop. Mmmm...
General consensus from the mob was that Cape Paterson might well get another visit (or two) these holidays.
Great day Pete and Cat - thanks for organising

Great day Pete and Cat - thanks for organising
After a detour via Leongatha to see the progress on Marian's nephew's house we grabbed a coffee at Mcdonalds and continued on to this event, where we met up with pprass (Peter & Cat) again only to be scolded for not getting to the Mildura event. It is a beautiful location, met up with a lot of known and unknown geocachers, after a lovely lunch and chats the group photo was taken. We then headed off to do the local caches, thanks pprass for organising a great event and day .
The weather so could have been anything at this time of year but the day was excellent, as was the location, and the company. A most enjoyable event and great to catch up with the event holders again.
I love this corner of Victoria and another excuse to come down this way was all that was needed. Spladem and I headed out for a slow commute to the event. We did not rush it but just enjoy it and looked at some possible cache hide spots on the way down. It was great to cache up with old cache mates and meat some new ones. What a great down for it. TFTE
TFTE: a nice event to finally meet some of faces behind the caches i have been finding. Looking forward to meeting you around the cache tracks.
This was a great day. The weather was fantastic - we were with friends - we made some new ones - and we learnt new things. We talked to lots of teams - some that we had met previously and others whose names we had only seen in logs. It was great to put names to faces and meet teams who had visited our caches -sometimes you just have to travel to meet the locals it seems. Thanks Peter and Cath and 'the others' for the day.

Great day, even if we did get a little sunburnt

A very nice opportunity to meet other cachers.
Plenty to chat about with plenty of others including people who have found our caches.
The weather was cooler at first but became nicer as the day progressed.
Thanks pprass and Cat for the arrangments.
Greetings to all that we met and a Happy New Year to all.

We had a fantastic time. Plenty of sun, sand sea & surf. We met up with quite a few new cachers today, and of course caught up with all of our old friends - some we hadn't seen for quite a long time.

Better than any NYE party. The weather was just right for caching and talking if not for sunbathing. A lovely relaxed feel to the day. Enjoyed a lovely game of Hot Potato with some friends - hope to get to play it again. Great to see you again Cat + Peter and hope we can catch up with you sometime this year. Enjoy the rest of your holiday and that beautiful grandchild.
That a long way from home to hold an event, the look on each of Cat and Peters faces when they saw me arrive is a highlight of my trip, they really weren't expecting anyone from their new home in NSW to turn up. I had a great time catching up with so many new friends not only at the event but on the way to and from it aswell. What more can be said than great weather, great location and great people.
Thanks and see back in NSW sometime soon.
Thanks and see back in NSW sometime soon.
We couldn't miss this event and a chance to catch up with a former Victorian team even though they have crossed over to the dark side so we all piled into The Coffee Clan's car and headed off to a really enjoyable event catching up with many other geocachers as well as finding out what Cat and Peter had been up to since there shift. There's not many events where you get to stamp the log sheet as well as the event organizer. We hope he's not going to wash off the great collection he gathered on his arm.
Thanks pprass for organizing the event and we wish you all the very best up north and hope to get up one day soon to say hello

It's always very pleasant driving around South Gippsland, so the opportunity to catch up with Peter and Cat at Cape Paterson was all the incentive I needed to head down for the Event. Things started out a bit gloomy, so I took an inland route on the way there - but, by the time I arrived, the sun was out and it was a perfect afternoon, so I headed home along the coast. It was great to see so many old and new teams had made it down for the day and I really enjoyed catching up with a few old, familiar faces and I was settling in so well that I couldn't help wishing I was on holidays down there too.
Thanks pprass - you can count me in if you decide to make it an annual Event.

We were so pleased to see so many of our caching friends and also to meet so many new cachers on such a lovely day.
We promised muzza that the weather was going to be good and after a slow start it bloomed to be a glorious and brilliant day. We were totally surprised by the appearance of the South Eastern Caching Mafia (sans Farmers5 of course) and also by the appearance of GD__ all the way from Newcastle and denisjoh from Townsville!
It was interesting to meet the local cachers Gonefishen07, Ywurry, Anderka, Hearse068 and malikaal (some of which we met the day before at the front of their place).
We also enjoyed watching the various groups searching for our caches and we were pleased that so many people had enjoyment in exploring the coastline around Cape Paterson.
We would like to make this an annual event and if it is supported we will endeavor to do so.
Thanks once again for your company - you are all a wonderful bunch of people.

I arrived to see the party in full swing and a steady flow of arrivals kept it happening. It was a great venue and I really enjoyed myself. Nice to catch up with the hosts Pete and Cat again and to see many of the scallywags I have become accustomed to seeing at events and in the field. I would have liked to have met everyone, including some newbies but there was not enough time between gasbagging, eating, caching and the ice cream shop. I wasn't sure I was going to get to this one as we were holidaying/caching in Canberra but as it was Angies' mothers' birthday as well (who just happened to be in Inverloch), we decided to come home a few days early and kill two birds with the one stone. Angie got to spend time with mom and I got to spend time with my caching buddies. What a perfect result and event. Looking forward to next year.

We were in the company of team Crackers and a few cache along the way is always the best start to a day cacheing event.
We arrived in good time and it was great to catch up with the hosts and all the new stories of caching for the Northeners.
It was a terrific turnout all round and again it was great to catch up with everyone who attended

The day was great weather and we were fortunate to be a part of the new caches group assault and the caches were great hides and great views.
Our thanks to Peter and Cat for putting on this event, I hope this will continue yearly.
Regards Mr.Coffee and the "I think a group assault on some northern caches would be good and I am sure the hosts could accommodate 200" Coffee Clan.
Wow! My first geo-event ever and at the beginning of a new year. It was great catching up with fellow geo-cachers. Unfortunately, ywurry and I had a big drive ahead of us, so we couldn't stay for too long. At least gonefishen07 and hearse068 (my geo-cousins) could hang around for a bit longer. Thanks ppras for organising it and will email you next time we are up around Port Maquarie. Happy new year!
A great opportunity to put faces & names to geo-names! Being relatives of Gonefishen07 & Hearse068, we were happy to come along before we had to head back to NSW. Thanks pprass for organising this event - wish we could have stayed longer to chat some more...

As my grandparents had a house here all through my childhood until recently. The Empire and I decided that this one was a must attend. We havent been back since our grandparents left so was a bit of a "blast from the past" to come back and see what has changed. I still cant that believe that only 5 - 8 years ago we use to swin in this beach and spend all summer in this area and be lucky to bump into more then 30 people, now it is certainly becoming the popular summer vacation place to be!
We ended getting to this event a little later then intended as the Fish and Chips took longer then we would have liked.
But once our yummy lunch was in hand we moved to GZ and met up with our fellow cachers.
I dont think the weather could have been more perfect. Sun shinning, just a nice cool breeze, just perfect.
It was great to bump into some familiar faces and share some stories.
Thanks for the great event and great time.

Whoopee our 2300th cache here today and it certainly taken a while to get to this mark I can tell you. We enjoyed the event, catching up with old friends and new, we enjoyed the weather (which looked a little cold earlier on) and we enjoyed meeting you both again. Someday we will get up your way just do not know when. Just remember Peter to give Gonefishen07 a bit of warning this time next year so she can put out another 30 odd caches for us. Thanks for the Event Peter and Cat.
What an excellent day. No better way than to celebrate my 1,000 cache than at the event that my caching father was holding. I must thank Pet and Cat for the endless patient hours they sent helping us on our way and many hours of pleasure that it has given us.
Great Event good to see other cachers

This was the first ever caching event I have attended. I did not know what to expect (or what to bring). It was good to to have caching friends already there who I knew and it was also good to meet some new caching friends who I have only met by names in logs. Now I can put names to faces.
Thank You pprass for organising this event at Cape Paterson. First time I have been here.
Thank You to all the fellow cachers that attended this event. Looking forward to seeing you all again at another event.

Always good to catch up to swap tall stories and tales and even met a couple of the local cachers that I had found many of their hides - thanks pprass for inviting us to this lovely place .
Good number of cachers at this event.
Always good to have a natter to fellow cachers.
Thanks to the owner for getting us together and organising great weather.

We attended this geocaching event at 11:50am as the 1st of 13 on our Cape Patterson afternoon. We had a great time as usual meeting friends old and new and the weather turned up a treat. As usual, we did the new local cache en masse and bumped into many other teams at the local caches nearby. Our 38th event cache, our 3rd event in 4 days after heading back from the Riverland two days ago. Thanks from D, HA & A B-A.
Mary & David were there enjoying the sunshine, the company, and the lovely seaside location. We arrived yesterday afternoon, and wouldn't have missed this occasion for worlds. Enjoyed some time with the hosts and their extended family that evening. We always love meeting other cachers, and this Event provided our second opportunity to do so in less than a week. As always, great to catch up with old friends and hear their news. The weather was just perfect, and the cachers just kept arriving. Many newer teams were among them and, as usual, we ran out of time trying to chat to them all. We're now looking forward to the next Event so we can continue. Our thanks to Peter & Cat for arranging this Event, which we hope can become a regular occasion in future years. Mary was thrilled to see the precious grand daughter, and vows she got several smiles. Our thanks to everyone there for making it so successful. Happy New Year to everyone. We arrived home in good time, and Mary managed 3 hours sleep before night duty tonight.
Thanks for organising the event guys, it was great to catch up with fellow geocachers. The Cape is a great place to come when the weather is as good as it was today. I'm sure there will be some geocachers coming back here this summer!

It was good to be able to catch up with old friends and make some new ones. Good to catch up with host Peter and Cat as well. As I travelled down to the event, it looked as if their promise of good weather was not going to be met.
But shortly after arriving, the clouds cleared and the blue skies appeared. Excellent.
Thanks to pprass for organising this successful event. See you next year???? Same time, same place????? Let's hope!
