#22953 @1050In NZ / Dunedin to attend Geo Toroa. Heading back to Christchurch today, then Canberra tomorrow. But before leaving Dunedin there were a few more must get caches. A quick find here on my way to the nearby earthcache. TFTC.
Visit to Doctors Point has been on my bucket list for a long time. Everything alined today for a visit. Low tide at mid day.school holidays so I am in Dunedin looking after the grand daughters and it was a beautiful day for a visit. SO PERFECT.THANKS FOR BRINGING US HERE
Muggle-hubby and I departed Dunedin on our way to Christchurch. We stopped here out of curiosity and, of course, there are four caches here.Walking onthe beach, I left muggle-hubby to wander while I made my way inland. I paid attention to the hint, but because I came from the beach, I wasnt sure if I was looking at the first or the second. After a thorough, unsuccessful search, I looked around and realised that I had been searching the first.Wandering over a little further inland, I found the cache rather quickly. Thanks, drawp, for the cache.
Found after a walk along the beach. Quick find thanks to helpful hint. What a great spot, TFTC!

A nice little walk from the car park at this lovely spot - brought HoppyHunting with us on their first geocaching jaunt! TFTC

Out with Flamingo4850 (aka joyz48) exploring the area, and stopped by for this one on our way back to the car. Had to work out which was the second one, but then soon found it. TFTC.
We drove to Oamaru last night and are heading to Dunedin tonight. Today's plan is to spend a little time in the Port Charmers area. There were some sheep watching as I looked for the cache.
Thanks for hiding this cache drawp I appreciate it.

Visiting a friend who is showing us the area. Some Geocaches collected during the weekend like this one. TFTC
Nice hide in good condition, not sure why there is a new log as the old book could have been used.
Stopped here on way back from a sunny walk to Goat Is with brother and wife.
Never been before despite growing up in Dunedin and seeing the pa model.

#10,414. I have a big day planned picking out geotour caches on the north side of the harbour, up to Karitane and Moeraki and back to my accommodation in Dunedin. Plus grabbing a lot of adventure labs. The sun has come out and after some rather chilly December weather on this trip its forecast to reach 27 degrees today and I think they got that right. It was very hot by mid-morning.
Came out here to do a stage of an adventure lab and its a nice looking beach to explore. I diverted to pick this one up. I soon discovered a hint object and searched everywhere around it but no cache was to be found. Checked the hint once again. Oh a second one. Wandered a bit further afield and yep there is a second one amongst the lupins, long grass and shrubbery. This time its an easy find. Signed the logbook and replaced the container where found. Thanks drawp for hiding it here.

Visiting Dunedin for a few days catching up with the children. This morning the fine weather held so we headed off to the beach. Enjoyed a walk through the rock arches, watched climbers scaling the cliffs and the kids had a swim. The yellow lupine were in full flower and their scent was amazing. GZ pretty overgrown but with the hint we got there. Log all fine. Thanks for the smiley.
Found the cache, but did not find a pencil, so took a photo of the logbook. Great day for a walk on the beach.
Dunedin has put on a beautiful spring day. Nothing beats a walk around Doctors Pt with a few caches thrown in. This was a quick find with a fresh logbook. Tide is out so plenty of time to move onto the next one.
Out with the Wednesday Walkers plus the apprentice cacher. I had bypassed this one on previous visits, but decided to grab it with the assistance of the appy. Had lots of trouble with the Garmin which led us on a merry dance, partly possibly because we had approached GZ from the beach not the path. A previous finder then joined us and had similar trouble. Eventually both devices settled down and agreed on a probable location which proved correct.

The whole muppetshow could not find this one. Searched for about 30mins then gave up.
Took us a moment or two to work out where it was. Reading the comments gave us a wee hint
Hevic took me up to Doctors Point for the day, so naturally we had to find a few caches in the area. After being outmuggled at one spot, we aimed for this one. I left Hevic to soak up the sun for a bit, but I couldn't find the cache on my lonesome so I called her over to help. Wouldn't you know it, as soon as she was there the cache was found - though by me! Whoops. Cheers!
The second cache this morning. Looking at the tracks above where where are some great bolted climbs with a beautiful view overlooking the coastline. Worth going up to see but BEWARE of trains!!! CFTC
Lovely morning to be at the beach. Just a pity the tide wasn't right to do the rest of the caches in this area.
We hadn't been along this path on any of our many previous visits. Was a fun hunt. We were surprised by a sleeping sea lion on the sand just along from the cache. Dropped TB to continue its journey.
On Tour together with Sabe73 as Team "TheBros" around South Island to visit some nice spots.
We also visited this location and could find the box almost quickly.
Thank you for showing us this place and of course for the Cache.
