Missed it on my first sweep but found it on my return based on previous logs and an obvious spot. Didnt realize this was farming country always presumed it was bush. TFTC
Ive not been to this area before but were caretaking a nearby property, out for bike ride around the paths and a few caches. Nice history here. STL TFTC
Quick find but a bit lucky. The hint was very helpful . Found with team trashy and goughfinder.tftc
We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in North Western Sydney, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Holidays Avina BIG4 Holiday Park at Vineyard. Hoping to collect some previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some Adventure Labs, and accumulate enough cache finds with our mini seven day streak for this month’s "Wheel of Challenges" (medium) souvenir. Photos will be uploaded to some (most) logs on our return to home base.
Today (day 3) we are heading homeward, but stopped off at Rouse Hill for some caching around Caddies Creek & Smalls Creek, where we collected some Traditional caches. This was the 5th of 8 finds for the day (day 3), and 27th find of the holiday.
After suffering a DNF at the nearby Letterbox cache we next arrived at this one, and thankfully it was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. Signed the log, which is looking very full, and then replaced as found. TNLN. It's an interesting old pump, just a pity the info sign is so difficult to read. TFTC steveishere & RIS768.

Find #6214
Find #4/9 on todays caching journey out to Rouse Hill.
Parked as close as possible and ventured down the path towards GZ. The pump is really cool but the sign has become corroded over time and you can’t really read it.
Understood what the hint referred to but not entirely sure it still works these days. After a few laps I found the hide in an obvious place.

Yes, the sucker is there. We probably overdid it a bit at first, but after having read the description (which you sometimes should...) and some previous logs (which you sometimes could...) we found it in a very obvious place.
Nice quick find off the main path. Such a beautiful afternoon to be out caching. Tftc
A lovely piece of history along with a simple find. Found very quickly by Outdoornut22. I think I would have been jumping fences to look inside! All the same great hide
Yay! What a lovely little find whilst out walking with my family & doggos. Totally forgot to bring a pen so didn’t sign the log but will attach a pic as proof. TFTC!
Fourth and final find today.
The morning started off very promisingly then I had a string of dnfs. Caches I probably shouldn't have bothered to search for as they all had a few dnfs but mostly from newby cachers so I thought I might have better luck, but no.
I parked in Evergreen Way, opposite the park where several dogs were playing frizbee and GeoSooty and I started our walk from there making it a decent walk for him. The walk is nice through the bush with Caddies Creek on one side and very attractive houses with neat gardens on the other. Sooty loved it!
The weir was flooded and the debris indicates the water was well beyond where I was standing to take the photo.
Now that's an interesting piece of history!
Certainly was an efficient pump.
I knew there was farming in this part of Sydney I can even vaguely remember it but I didn't realise they grew potatoes.
Good hint!

Replaced the log scroll and added the names of the finders that were unable to write their name at the time.
Found but like previous finders have noted the log scroll is missing.
Thanks steveishere for the hunt.

Loved this cache, on a beautiful walking tracking and stops you right near a bit of local history!
Cache is a good hide, however it’s missing the log!

Geocaching in the neighbourhood, exercising and practicing social distancing.
This was a good find if not for the missing log roll.

I was out caching with Frazelle and Ash Kate today. My mission was to pick up some more finds for the Mystery At The Museum promotion. I was certain the cache was going to be on the object. I was wrong! Log was signed.

OCW marj01 around Rouse Hill, Annangrove and Kenthurst. Now this one was a sneaky hide, but not to sneaky for marj01 who just loves these types of hides. TFTC RIS768.

Quick find by Mr S. Next stop off to find the Caddies creature. It's a grand day for a stroll today.
Getting a bit overgrown, and no find after cycling here from Blacktown bike-caching around.

I was working in Sydney this week, so I've taken to opportunity to spend the weekend and grab a few caches that I desperately needed for various geo-challenges. It was pretty warm by Canberra standards & I sweated here today. The car was saying 20C (is it winter ?) and in the bush land the humidity was up. All in all, a satisfying result. Only one DNF and I had to give up eventually due to fading light.
Cool engine. A little bit of agricultural history here and a nasty little blighter of a cache. The hint is good.

As I generally do on my weekly drive from the Central Coast to Windsor, I made time this afternoon to grab a few caches along the way ... today in the back blocks of Rouse Hill, well I think that's where I was.
I've previously found and enjoyed another of steveishere's memories of yesteryear, so I was looking forward to what he had found for us here ... and after wandering down from where I parked in Monarch Close, I wasn't disappointed with what I found here. It did, however, take longer than I thought it would to find the cache, but that's probably because I was looking at all the hiding spots where a micro would fit ... only to eventually find a nano! Sort of took the shine off things a little, but at least I found it ...
Thanks for keeping this cache alive ris768.

Parked the car and then had a lovely walk along the path to GZ. The cache was found quickly and easily. Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks ris768 for placing this cache.
We visited the nice area.
After the visit there we stopped at some nice caches in the region.
Thank you to all the owners

I was searching for a cache nearby and thought I should do a cache check as I have not checked it since adopting it. When I first found it, it was a different cache and hide, I tried to find it again but I had severe vertigo and couldn't do it, so I put the cache offline until I could come back to check. Fortunately someone found the cache with their GPS and asked could I enable it again. So I'm back and have done a find and a check, pity I can't log it again. Oh well all is well with the cache.
It has been a long time since we have found a geocache so we decided to find some today. Geodad looked for a good place where we can cycle and find caches so we did this trail.
Nice easy find while riding on the trail.

I am catching up on old logs. This was the only find for the day. I needed an easy cache for my daily find and this one fit the bill. I parked as close as I could on Liberty Way and wandered down the path. I was curious as to what the hint meant but when I closed in on GZ, I realised what it meant. It is great to see different historical relics kept for younger generations to learn about the progress this area has made. I checked some obvious hiding spots and found nothing except ants. I was about to try another when I looked at a different angle and found the cache. SL. TFTC.

I walked past here the other day and found the cache, but didn't have a pen.
Today I returned for a stroll and signed as 'Mr Mal'. Cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for taking over this cache and keeping it going!

21/08/15. 11:48 AM. Cache #2871. Streak day #425.
12th of 12 finds this morning.
Still on foot after finding "Be Weir of Caddies Creature" & "The Stache Is Here", I wondered if this one was going to be tricky or not. I followed my way up to the pump, taking note of the hint along the way.
I tried low and I tried high, but saw nothing. I started to PAF, but just after it had gone to voicemail, I spotted the little sucker. A good one to end the day on; time to head for the shops. TFTC.

This was the 3rd of seven finds for my raid this way today.
After relocating the geo mobile this was the first of three tackled on this walking trail.
Being a working day I didn't see any muggles on the track this allowed an uninterrupted search of GZ. It paid off with a find of the small little critter. retrieved, SL and replaced. tftc
As I walked away from the cache I located a flood height sign nearby that someone has marked flood levels on from the past few years. April this year was the highest at 1.8 meters - must have been very close to the cache hiding spot and a nano would not have had a chance on fast flowing waters.
Now to walk on a little further to 'the stache is here'

The sun is bringing people out walking at last - quick wait for a gap in the traffic before signing!

Almost dark when we arrived at the pump. Had time for only a quick search and glad GeoLizzy was with me as she went straight to the spot and found that nano!
Out in the Hills District from some Good Friday caching on a drizzly grey day - perfect for geocaching! That sucker certainly is there. What a funny thing to come across. And what a change in the status of the creek from the days that this was doing something useful. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
PS Steveishere - we mentioned you in our log for nearby The Stache is Here that we also found today.

Out in the Hills District with Bluewattle for the yearly Meet and grabbing a few quick finds, great day and TFTC.
Out visiting this way and had a few moments to grab a cache or two. We saw this was back in action so headed over. The recent rains have certainly flooded the area but missed GZ. We searched for a bit as the GPSr had us at one spot but moved backed to another and made the tiny find. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

Dear Reviewer,
I plan to reactivate this cache, just need to confirm with previous CO that the cache is missing and source a new cache container.
Thank you for your patience.

Found while being chauffer driven by Sevabo and Everlasting almost all afternoon after attending the 6th Annual Hills Geocaching Event. What a great way to cache. Great cache. TFTC
Found on my walk with the ClazzA team along the Smalls Creek Cycleway. This one took way too long to find. It was eventually discovered in a spot we thought we'd already checked. Thanks for highlighting this interesting artifact steveishere.
Nice one. A cache with a bit of history. A little tricky to find. Nano sized caches should be distinguished from Micros as you are looking for a very different thing.
This one didn't cause us to much trouble, thankfully geoson loves to count so I left him hopping on the rocks while I searched and soon had CIH. The rubber seal on the container had perished but everything else was in order. SL TFTC!
Walked up to GZ and had cache in hand in about 5 seconds... Nothing else to say really! Replaced cache a bit more out of sight than it was before.

Found while out on a bike ride with the kids. Was looking around for the cache and expecting it to be a bit sneaky when the cache just jumped out at me. Kind of obvious for a nano. Interesting bit of history though. TFTC!
Tricky little hide (little being the word used here quite literally). Beautiful spot though & loved the clever hint! SL / TFTC
Found with Two Baker Boys and geodoggy Zara on Good Friday. A tricky little hide. TFTC!!
At last time that the cache was in a very trick hide because I looked through it but I cant feel it until sevabo who found this cache a long time and she did looked through it and she can feel it too then she found it for me! Oh phew! Thank you steveishere for bringing me here.
GeoSon M found this one. GeoDad got the job of removing log and signing. Plenty of mozzies here this afternoon.
