Dropped past the construction site again,
Although the road is not far off being sealed, it is still months away from being opened.
Going to Archive this one, 9 years isn't a bad run, over many different cache containers.
We will likely reinstate this cache once the area settles down a bit.
Thanks for finding this cache!

I swung past today to have a look at the cache location and can report that significant works leading to this cache have been underway, there has been a new bridge installed, and there is currently a gravel road cut out.
There will need to be kerbing, road base, and road built before there might possibly be access.
If i was to take a guess, it would be 3-4 months away.
Reviewer,
Please advise if you would like this archived until the road is built.

###**CACHE OWNER RESPONSE REQUIRED**###

I'm wondering how things are going here? It's now been 13 weeks since your *"Still waiting for a road to be built through here, unsurprisingly there is little work going on as it is now the Christmas break."* advice on Dec/22/2018
The cache has now been Disabled for 153 days. If this listing is to remain then something needs to happen ASAP.
For ongoing issues please **provide an actual date when you expect the cache will be up and running** or alternatively, ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days, so as to keep everyone in the picture.
### You need to respond by **8th April** otherwise, I will be left no option but to take the next step and de-list the cache. ###

### **A TIMELY REMINDER** ###
### (CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED) ###
----------
Thank you for temporarily disabling this cache for maintenance - it is appreciated. However, I've noticed that it has been disabled for a while now . . . . . . . somewhat more than the few weeks suggested in the [**Guidelines,**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#maint) so it's time for me to take some kind of action. I wish I didn't have to, but others are probably wanting to know what's going on with this cache.
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list.
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, Archive the cache. Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then.
Please don't send me an email but instead follow the advice posted above.

As other cachers have noted, the road has been........ well...... removed.
It is going back from what i can tell. But it will be a bit longer!
Once the road is back in, i will reactivate this cache.

Clarke's road is closed and barricaded off due to development works. Not sure if its approachable by foot from elsewhere, but if not this one's inaccessible for the moment.
Was in the area, cache is still there. Not hindered by construction so far.
Could not find it scoured the area and there has been some local excavation to uncover a pipe. It wasn’t in this hole or surrounding bush. However we may have missed it. Better luck next time
Had to take the dog to the vet so on the way home thought why not try a park and grab, pulled up in the pouring rain and headed out to grad, after a small search had cache in hand. TFTC
No problems here today!
Cache is exactly how it was left when it was placed all those years ago!

Great camo. Got bitten by mini black ants as I was logging. Ouchy. CIGC TNLN TFTC.
out on the bike this morning to get to #400 which was successful. had to take my shoes off and wade down the road to get to GZ due to all of the rain. got to very damp GZ where the familiar camo was soon spotted and the cache found. Thanks to TeamPacketStorm for this cache

Got it! Funny thing, I've tried pulling these things out hundreds of times looking for caches, and never found one. This time, didn't bother, until geowife (Lea) said "not in that", to which I replied "doubt it", but tried anyway. Whadda ya know - there it is! Tftc
Over for the Surf Coast Mega with tmann421 enjoying the area and collecting caches along the way.
Thanks to all the CO's for adding to the enjoyment of this fun trip and TFTC

A quick find for us here today. Clever hide! TFTC

Somewhat oblivious to the chaos happening less than a kilometre away on the Barwon, we were ever so excited to see water pouring over the road on the way to this one. We've since learnt that this was "piddling" in comparison. Thanks heaps, Team PacketStorm!
Quick easy find for geoben. Coordinates spot on
Another find by the McPhail family

Angel boys and dykstra crew found the second for the day. No need to climb over the fence.
Lots of rubbish...didn't bring gloves. Will come back anotherday better prepared.
Found after 2 earlier dnfs for me for today so was happy to finally get one. Spotted it as the gps lead me right too it.

Today we decided to head out on a maintenance run after a few of our caches had logs saying they needed some TLC.
Armed with fresh log books and containers we headed out on this not too hot and not too cold day!
Thanks to the previous finder, we knew we had to get out and see this one!
Changed logbook over and re hid,
The fox that dies here many years ago has turned to bones as everyone is reporting,
Geez it stunk at the beginning!
Cache all good to go!

Bones all over the place near GZ. Log is entirely out of room. Left a 70¢ stamp to say thanks in advance for putting a fresh log in there. Nicely hidden.

We grabbed this one on a nice day attending the Geelong Christmas event nearby.
We made a short detour on the way home and found it quickly.
Very clever and the log is now full.
Thanks for the cache.

It was a cool one.

Devious little hide. Gps had me a good 8m out making it much trickier. What a desolate place this is now, with a lot of rubbish. Good place for a CITO. Tftc.
Quic and easy find with accurate co-ords
Something wasn't quite right, turns out it was the well hidden cache

Great cache! And great spot! Glad it was at the co-ordinates otherwise it would have been so much harder! TFTC
Found it. Nice hide. If it wasn't for the fact that the Cache was bang in the coordinates then it would have taken me a whole to find that one.
Lovely day for a couple of quick finds on our now normal ties arvo gap fill before geo kid has guides. Cheeky little hide this one TFTC
Found it 2nd time around. Some grote has dumped rubbish up here. Anyway easier to find in day time.
Very clever! GeoDad very pleased with himself finding this one. Super quickly too! TFTC
Raining, dark, no gloves or torch, GPS going haywire so went everywhere, geodog looking at us like we are mad, any wonder we can't find it? Found the animal bones and think we know where to look. Will try again.
In Geelong for the Christmas Smorgasbord events. This was our last cache for the day #26 before heading back to Warrnambool. It was starting to get dark by this stage, so a torch was needed to assist the fading sunlight. Coordinates were spot on and the cache was soon in hand, but a sneaky hide all the same. TFTC Team PacketStorm, a great hide.
second attempt at this one - last time the gps was showing the wrong spot! very clever conceal.
A clever hide, think we spooked the cars parked here.....another find on a night run with Alchey, tftc
Out tonight with Roads75 to put a few smiles on the map.
With a quick search the cache was found.
Thanks for the Cache Team PacketStorm

Finally, we are able to say we found this one! Our first attempt was in the summer. On a warm day in fading light, we drove up to find long grass and a decomposing lamb, and thought better of it. Returning in cooler weather, we drove up to find 4 cars and a bunch of people already there, so looped around and drove off again, muttering about it all looking a bit dodgy. On checking the logs for that day, I'd say it was most likely other cachers we had stumbled upon. Anyway, we were nearby and decided to give it another go. The coast was clear, and after a short search, eventually found it. TFTC!
Found on way home after a memorable weekend. The building looks like a renovators delight. TFTC
Found today, love the old stone building, didn't get too close though figured it'd be private property. Good photos to be had, thabks for bringing us here
Found on another Monday night caching adventure. been a slow night so we were glad of a few quick one. Thanks Team PacketStorm for the cache.
After a fast drive on the dirt road we skidded to a halt, time was passing us too quickly now and we needed a few quick drivebys to get the numbers up. GZ was very accurate and an oddity was investigated and log signed. Thanks. Just what we needed.
Was in a mini mission this morning to get to my 500th find.
Great little hide. Lots of bones around here too. Found an awesome looking skull.
Thanks Team PacketStorm for the cache
Log signed & replaced. TFTC & smiley face

Found with highrod after the birthday event in Ballan. Loved the old building. TFTC
Driving down the Ring Road and thought - now where do I stop to get even close to this one? But as always there is a way. TF Clever Cache.
Found @ 12:46pm, find # 2743.
Biggles1024 and myself headed down to Geelong for the day to attend the Christmas Smorgasbord of events, while picking up our unfound caches on the way and in between events.
It didn't take too long to find this very nice hide, it had us fooled at first glance, but not for long.
Thanks to Team PacketStorm for placing this this cache
