I was a little nervous based off last logs but I got to go and the location matched the hint and what I was expecting so I was confident I was in the right spot. After a short search the cache was found nice and safe in good condition
I took a nice stroll along the beach walk to gather the neccessary clues. I got to what i thought was GZ but after much searching i am not sure the cache is there.
I love the idea of this cache. I had a ball reading all the plaques, and the walk along the beach is perfect for the style of geocaching I enjoy. I made a sight error at the final waypoint, but it was soon fixed, and GZ was quickly located. Thanks for adding this one here and delivering some interesting facts about early Melbourne history. The cache is in excellent condition, but it could do with a bit more natural camo to stop it from being muggled in the future. Given the walk involved, I feel the D rating doesn't give it justice.
Visiting Melbourne from Port Macquarie.Today we ventured to the Mornington Peninsula, primarily targeting mystery and multi caches. The mostly clear and warm weather was a pleasant change from the wet and cold conditions of the last couple days.Perfect day for a walk along here, beautiful part of the world. Thanks for the cache
Well what a cracking day for this walk. I took the little one in her pram with no issues on the path and we got almost to the end before she spotted a playground. That was a bit of a detour but she had a lot of fun! Gathered the final info and GZ coordinates but it was time for ICE CREAM!! Grabbed a couple of scoops and then some lunch before taking the 781 bus back to our car and parked near GZ. Short walk and a great view before a quick find. TFTC!
Today was an awesome opportunity to walk this coastal track, my geohubby and I parked our car near the carpark at waypoint 1 and started the long journey! We wanted to walk on a flat surface and at least 10k all up and this turned out to be perfect! Each waypoint was calculated and found and we enjoyed the views as we made our way along the cliff tops. Lots of friendly people passed us by with their dogs, and we enjoyed the winter sun. It's helpful there's a public toilet about halfway along too and the hotels closer to the main strip of Mornington would be a nice stopover for a cool drink in Summer I imagine. We made our way to the final destination and then proceeded to the GZ, ahhh! clever spot to hide a cache, nice and out of the way! It took us a while, we looked under bushes, in bushes, and logs etc...then I had a think after reading the most recent entries and inspected an area a bit further, and there it was! We signed the newly placed log and I hid it back as I had found. Really enjoyed the couple of hours we spent here today. Thank you!
Cache has been replaced by a generous cacher.
Thx heaps.
On with the caching!

It has been a long time since we have ventured over the bay to cache so with so many caches to choose from we settled with the interesting letterboxes, multis, solved puzzles and labcaches. Heading up the Mornington Peninsula after an overnight stop at Rye we enjoyed the scenery and the sunny day, not so much the wind however as well as learning some of the local history that the caches had to offer.
Done the hard yards completing this multi, collecting all the necessary information to eventually lead us to GZ. The wind was blowing a gale making it for a very icy search. After PAf'ing a previous finder we conceded the cache was missing after some severe pruning. We have left a screw top container that should stay more waterproof under leaf litter, to keep this old cache alive.
Thanks Epsilon Crucis for the discovery wander.

A good walk is the way to keep your heart doing what it should, Figuring on the fly is good for the brain. I had started this a while ago and today was the day.
Feel the love. [^]
Found out and about on the 2023 trip for the Rutherglen Mega. Thanks to Epsilon Crucis and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]

*Cache find # 12616.*
Today I was heading down to Bushrangers Bay to go for a stroll to the top of the rock for an event but I detoured past a for other caches along the way, this being one of them.
The log book is now dry but it is a solid block which I managed to split to find a page to sign.

With the great resignation currently in place my workplace gave anyone who had been working there for 5 years or more (I just snuck in) a couple of extra paid days off this financial year and this week was pretty quiet so I took today off and headed down this way to look for a few puzzles I had on my solved list and to do whatever else that I freestyled past.
Luckily I had my scooter in the car today because this turned out to be a larger project than I initially thought but I stuck with it. It was fun riding along the tops of the cliffs though with such great views. I was a little worried about my final GZ but all was good on arrival. Log book was stuck together but I found a place to sign it.
Thanks Epsilon Crucis for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Took the kids on this one, stopped for a drink and a park play, finished with an icecream. Log book was not singable.
Our first multi. Great to learn some history. Terrible weather but a fun cache. TFTC!
Enjoyed stayed in Mornington for the day with lovely sunny day. Also enjoyed this multi to sort. Love it. Nice hide spot. Fav for me. Thanks saulman1010 for bringing me here and the multi cache.
Collected the required info for this one a looong time ago
Finally got to locate the cache today
All found in good condition
Many thanx to saulman1010 for the hide

Awesome walk with my geo-daughter this morning, and finally onto the prize. My daughter loved this one! Did some swaps.
I've done parts of this walk a few times before and decided that today was finally the day that I finished up this multi.
Things were nice and easy to comprehend and the final coordinates were in hand in no time.
A few muggles walking about but luckily none decided to pass gz and the cache was found quickly without any hassles.
Signed the logbook and dropped a trackable.

Lovely wander along the foreshore on a calm winters day - you could say respite from the mountains. Some familiar names from a foggily remembered history so attracted to this terrific multi. TFTC
I have been meaning to do this multi for a while. I followed the waypoints without much trouble but when I arrived at the GZ I Made the final search much harder that it should have been .. I think I searched everywhere except the most obvious place. Thanks saulman1010 for placing the cache and for helping share such an important aspect of our local and Australian history.
Took the family clan out for an adventure. But it did take a bit longer than anticipated (1 hour one way world be for a faster walking group) so of the 15 that started the journey, only 4 made it to the end (and the storm was coming). The 6yo who made it to the end had a very big smile after the find. He didn't want to give up until he got the prize. TFTC.
We found Discoverers Walk on a hot Melbourne afternoon.
I was early for an appointment so took the opportunity to quickly work through the waypoints and gather the required numbers. At GZ, I immediately found the cache and then had time to appreciate the view
Thanks saulman1010 for placing this cache and being a part of out geocaching adventure

Maybe I didn't do this cache exactly as the CO expected, but I did enjoy the locations that this Multi cache took me to.
Today after getting off work a little bit earlier than normal, I finally had the time to come and collect the final. I was fortunate enough to find a car park extremely close but I then found a single fence blocking the path. However with no sign and the fence easily stepped around without even leaving the path, I considered it more a guideline rather than a restriction.
Got to the GZ and admired the view for while before starting the search. Couldn't find anything at the obvious place than saw a upside down pot plant. However when I looked under that, it was empty. Starting to worry because of the time period since the last find, I re-searched the first place and wondered how I missed that the first time.
Thanks for the cache Saulman 1010

Found it! We completed the clues and looked for quite a while at ground zero before heading off for a coffee break. Returned to ground zero with fresh minds and found fairly quickly, after disregarding part of the hint. TFTC. Left TB.
Great scenic walk here! Looked for quite a while with Teacher Vic to no avail. Had a quick break and warm up in a local cafe , came back and made a quick find. Picked up travel bug. Thanks for the multi! : )
Loved the challenge of this multi. Found the waypoints over several days after work and finally found my way to ground zero. Learnt a bit along the way as well. TFTC
*After a rare breakfast of delicious pancakes and a rather wet wander through the Mornington Midweek Market, it was time for some Peninsula caching.*
This multi, was a great way to join the dots of snippets of information learnt over the years - making a clearer picture of MP history.
An extra bonus for us was picking up the TB "BET BIL - Cabbage Patch Doll" (TB50D52) earning us extra gold tokens in The Quest for Mary Hyde Treasure game.
Thanks Epsilon Crucis for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Headed out here on a lunchtime trip to look for this and one other target nearby. Having been successful a little further down the foreshore I headed to his one. As I have had a few trips to the area in recent weeks (and I must admit cut a couple of corners) I was had sufficient information to head straight to GZ today. A bit of searching and I was pleased to spot this good sized cache. The hint doesn't quite seem to quite match any more but the cache is eminently findable. Took nothing, dropped the cabbage patch doll TB, signed log and visited some other trackables. Thanks for the interesting multi cache saulman1010 / Epsilon Crucis.

Now I thought to myself I need to go out and find my daily cache before I go to work today cmmmmmm which one should I do...... Hmmmm a multi sounds nice how about this one I heard it will take a while lets go have a crack at it. The cache itself is fairly simple but had to rush it as work was encroaching me. anyways had a great time learning about the history that this cache offered. Thanks for the cache and the adventure.

A very windy day that also had many showers to contend with. This type of weather does keep the muggle inside. We knew we were in for a long walk as we parked the car as recommended near Birdrock. We set off finding all the markers and reading the plaques which provided heaps of good info. On arriving at WP10 we got the required clues from Matthew Flinders and the punched them into the GPS. Off we go again. AT GZ we were finding ourselves looking some 10 metres away from where we eventually found the cache. We certainly need the hint for this one. We must have made a mistake with our calcs. Anyway log signed and back safe again. Now back to the car. The round trip must be about 8 kms.
Thanks for this fabulous walk and the history lessons. A favourite point from us.

Well, I had to go back to GZ to have another look and sure enough, there it was where I had not looked, yet so close. Have become rather obsessed with multi's as you just never know where you're going to be taken. This is probably the most trekking I've done for a cache even though I split it up over a couple of trips. Can't believe how busy Mornington is now on a weekend! A stunning spot at GZ. Cache is in good condition although I thought it may be a bit exposed there from a certain angle walking towards Mornington, however I left it where I found it. TNLN.

Quite a few DNF's for me of late. Fairly sure I had the correct GZ and a beautiful spot for a cache to be. Rummaged around a little in between muggles passing but could not spot a cache. Disappointing after the effort.
Found it after a great walk with Zorey666! Took us a little while to find the right coordinates after the statue but really enjoyed the search!!
Note: the start of the trail to GZ is currently blocked with orange construction tape which we snuck around. The cache spot isn't near or affected by construction though.

Found it after a good adventure walk, learnt lots about matthew flinders and then at the park they had a commemoration ceremony happening for the founding of the mornington peninsula! Perfect :3
Very nice. I don't really know the stretch south of Mornington at all, so that was interesting. I do however have vivid childhood memories of the area around the final intermediate stage. When arriving at GZ I found the cache flipped upside down and out in the open down the incline from the path, but otherwise in good condition. I put it under fairly heavy foliage, in the place I imagined the hint was suggesting was its home. Hopefully I wasn't far off. Thanks Epsilon Crucis!
TFTC! Hadn't done a multi for a long time. Very enjoyable on a nice sunny day. Learnt some interesting things. Cheers.
Little bit of cheating went on here once we had worked out the waypoints, and with 5 tired out Geokids we quickly worked out the co ords from waypoint ten, did a u turn and quickly had the cache in hand. Lots of swapping. Happy kids

We found this cache today at 5:50pm as the 25th of 26 on our Langwarrin to Mornington Caching Day in company of Alansee. Nice to follow through and a great place for the final cache. Thanks from D B-A.
Todays run was a lot "less wet" than the previous day. The Demoliton Crew today were together having a blast of a day caching, and to celebrate Rebel Acts 10,000 th find. Congratulations Eric, awesome stuff. With better weather, it was fun to clean up caches in an area we have been working on, on and off, for some time. My thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining their hides, without them, we would have none to find.
A nice clean and easy multi. The cache was soon signed and we continued on our own path of discovery. Thanks
------
After a wet caching run yesterday I was glad to be out on a day that had some sun and only a few light rain showers. TDC members had gathered to take Rebel Acts across the 10,000 cache find line. It was a fantastic day, and to capture Eric pass the milestone, was a great highlight. In typical form, Eric made no fuss of it, no grand event to celebrate it. Eric is just happy to be out and about collecting caches, just one more. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing and maintaining the caches we collected today.

Down at Mornngton for the weekly workout at my sons house. Knew that I was in for a walk but not that long. Did half the walk and turned back for the car. Great to see so many people enjoying the walk, taking the great views of the ocean. Moved the car for the next leg. Found a couple of waypoints mixed up. Arrived at WP 10 and worked out the final co ords. Did the quick turn around to secure the prize. Had the choice of two paths and took the low one(wrong). It made the final 20 twenty very hard. Lot easy option taking the high path. Easy find with the hint, a little weary by this time. Thanks for the great walk sulman1010 I enjoyed the history of the area.

Pea bear & I really enjoyed our walk this morning reading about an area I have lived in all my life. Very interesting. Easy walk in to GZ once all the work was done. Now back to the car & a well earned lunch. TFTC

As today was International Geocaching day, this obsession demands that I search out Tupperware and to help with this task i was accompanied by caching partner in crime, ahomburg. The focus today was the Mornington region as both of us had not found many in this region before. Today was also a typical 4 seasons in one day with rain then wind then sunshine and so on. This day also saw me walk around 10+ km's which I think could be a record for me.
Well this one took awhile and involve alot of walking but was very satisfying working thru all the WPs and to finally reach GZ. Didn't know of the facts told by the way point markers before today so was a great read and one of the great things I enjoy about caching. The walk along this section of coast line was great too.
In the end the hint was needed at GZ as the terrain offered quite a few options. A very well constructed cache and a nice size one too which is in great condition. TFTC saulman1010, left blue gem stone. A favorite for me.

Well, a drizzly Saturday morning, so why not another cache run with my caching partner in crime, sedgwickDave. Today was international Geocaching day, so we wanted to make sure we made the most of it. We decided to head towards Mount Martha, then north towards Mornington.
We parked in the nearby recommended spot, put on our backpacks and coats and headed to the start point for this epic cache. We did the whole cache on foot, also collecting many other caches in our travels. We had a great day, gathering all the required information on the way. After some lunch in town, we headed to GZ and soon after we had the cache in hand (Needed the hint tho!)
Thanks to saulman1010 for the Cache and the fantastic walk. A favorite point for this well set up cache.

Completed the markers in the morning with Sikma, the Collected the final in the afternoon. Was a great walk. TFTC
2012-04-28 16:33 Had found all the markers earlier this morning but at the statue we received a call and had to leave. Came back this arvo to find the cache. A great walk and a very interesting story along the way. TFTC.
This was the centrepiece of a great half day's caching with our new friend, the lovely hippihiiri who came to visit after the wonderful Oz Mega. What better way to show her some of our delightful Peninsula, with history added, than to "do" the Walk, which, by the way, we have been meaning to do since it was published. Of course, there were caches to be picked up along the way also. So we visited - and read - all the Markers and eventually retreived the cache at 6.15 pm, quite late because of the new one at the Sea Scouts (another story, see the log for it). Took the bottle opener, left our signature tag for you saulman if you want to pick it up, or the next finder, to move or keep, your choice, but please log. At the end we agreed all the caches were "quality", good because we are not chasing numbers.
Yes, what a great day we had with Dicksontwo! Five excellent caches and beautiful views thruout the whole walk. We took our time with this one as we weren't in any hurry. Interesting history and it is great there are memorial stones to tell the story. Thanks for the walk and greetings from Finland .
At long last! Went with Debs22 and have at last found this cache. Tried about 12 months ago and Muggles kept appearing. After completing all the clues we were frustrated with not being able to find the final cache and as it is local we have looked each time we go past but to no avail. I'm pleased to be able to cross this off my list. TFTC and the help!
Came back for another try today and was successful . I realised that I had been so close last time, and after expanding my search area a little, as well as taking a fairly generous peek at the hint, the cache was discovered (no pun intended)!
This was a thoroughly enjoyable and informative cache that highlighted some great history of the area. The choice for GZ was fantastic, and on a sunny afternoon looked perfect. Thanks saulman1010 for the cache.

What a great multicache! Put on your walking shoes and enjoy the adventure. Big caches are great and I hope my contribution puts a smile on the next finders face.
Gathered the numbers and visited what I thought would be GZ, but couldn't find the cache. Will have to come back another time and check my workings. Thanks saulman1010 for the hide.
Really Interesting cache. Loved the historical trail. Shame that not many people know about it. Didn't get the correct coordinates for GZ at first. Had to go back. Found easily once at correct GZ.

Another day on my return to caching and fitness regime took me to a few more local caches.
I have been aware of the cache along this trail for quite some time but have never got myself in gear to actually do it. Quite often walk along here on a Sunday afternoon with the rest of Team NCP and have read most the markers on many occasions - although I discovered two I hadn't seen previously.
Nice pleasant route and an easy last find of the day before heading back home with very weary legs for a well deserved mug of coffee.

We having been looking at this cache since it was published and with this being the last day of our 8 week holidays and being a very pleasant suuny day we decided that today was the day. We really enjoyed collecting the information, some of the wpts we had seen before but some we had no idea even existed.
We believe that the Mornington shire should be commended for this trail as it really does give you an insight into the local history.
Once finished we phoned a friend and got a lift back to our car before proceeding to gz where we were rewarded with some fantastic views and a relatively easy find Thanks for the cache

I'd done part of the walk along Discoverer's Walk over a period of time and today I had the opportunity to finish the walk and get the cache. Got to the final WP and read the plaque to get the numbers for GZ. Back to the car and worked out the final coords. Parked near the entrance and walked down to GZ where I found the nice sized cache in its hiding spot. Grabbed a couple of TB's and signed the log. No muggles about today as it was raining quite steadily. Really enjoyed the walking and the lessons in history along the way. Great views along the way as well. Thanks saulman1010.
Found this on 13th. April just before hopping on a plane to England and Ireland. Just remembered to log it now I'm back.
Yay another one done, but a good one at that. Great to do some multis that give some history and self guided tour of a great area. Well done and thanks for the work that went into this one. Looking forward to many more:) Dropped TB
Did the walk and got to marker 9 but I had forgot to print of the sheet so I text saulman1010 and he gave me some help
TFTC SL and took FTF price as it had not been taken

You need a good day for this - not too hot and not too cold! A good walk along the foreshore and happily GZ is just out of view of muggles, although it was a little exposed in its hidey hole. Thanks to saulman1010 for the history, walk and cache.
Lovely walk along the top of the cliffs. Had some idea where the cache might be before I started but faithfully completed each waypoint just to make sure! Very well put together Saulman, TFTC.
What a lovely view from this spot on a still water day. And refreshment (!) not so far away if it is hot.

Have done this walk twice now once with my scouts on a scout night
and as a final tester before it was published. Decided to finalize it as I was replacing 2
of my own caches in the area. Found out its really hard to write a log in the dark.

Found @ 11.00am Find #436
Was in the area today and thought I would get the paper work done on this cache as I had completed all stages as a test run prior to publication
Did this cache on the GeoMTB and really enjoyed the ride, views and the information along the way, love caches that involve a bit of effort, makes it more rewarding. The bike made short work of the trip back to the car and if I hadn’t already done the other traditional caches near by they would have been fun to do on the way back as bonus .
I mostly make a mess of these types of multi’s but this one worked a treat
Thx Soulman for another fantastic cache

**STF** Today being fantastic weather I decided to do some "saul" searching. Noted that only C@H had logged a find so put this one to the top of the list. I would highly recommed this one , as the coastal walk is fantastic, and I found the marker info really interesting. It's easy to live an area and really know nothing about it. I do wonder, however, why it is that saulman took me past 3 pubs and 2 of them twice ??? I did resist, as it was before 10am, but never-the-less future cachers should keep it in mind.
SL Left Scout badges and took the FTf that becane STF prize. Thanks Covert, I will pass it on to another cache. Many thanks to saulman 1010.

Nothing better than looking outside and thinking "It is a nice day for a walk and a cache" and then as if by magic a new one pops up. Been down here a few hours before when I should of been asleep. I contacted a fellow cacher who was online but they had other things to do. Really enjoyed this progressive multi. I know this track well and a majority of the plaques. At GZ it was easy to see a exposed cache from the track. After retrieving it and signing the log book I found some more cover to hide it with in it's same spot. I left the *FTF* prize for the STF. Thanks for a well set out multi.
Dam it !!!!
Dose this mean I'm out of the hunt because I know where the final stage is ?

Like oakydog (and saulman on one of my caches) I will have to wait out a few finders
as I helped test this a while back and know where it is hidden.
Good to see this one finally up.
