Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
After all the rain, alas both the cache container and the beautiful Melopsittacus has flooded downstream.... Will replace very soon....
Just able to locate this one today give up after a long slip and slide down the
muddy embankment.I will widen the search zone when on the next visit..

Gps has us away from it but after analyzing clue a bit found quite easily, another stroke of genius took travel bug

Did not take me too long to find, like the prop and cammo, well done. Had to widen search slightly but not that hard to find really, right elevation helps too.
Dropped TB
Cheers

Too muddy to slither down the embankment. I explored the area above and could neither find the cache or make sense of the clue. Still, fun to look.
Found what i thought to be an awesome natural cache hide but no cache inside. I will email CO a pic to see if what i found is the cache. If not im coming back to hse it as a new cache camo :b
After a dnf today and a message from the CO saying that they had checked it and it was still there and had no idea what this bit of natural camo i was talking about was. Lol
I came back for a second look and to take it back with me.
This time i ignored the gpsr and used the geoforce within and came up with a easy find 10m from where i originally looked
Very nice hide. Liked it. Thought id lost the geomutt in the flowing river though, she jumped in and couldnt get out where she went in, managed to find a better spot just a little further along! Twas a nervous moment.

Melopsitticus undulatus sighted guarding the cache or perhaps just enjoying the Melaleuca quinquenervia.
Easy find of a nice cache.

Found my way into the area and searched for a good while without luck. Read back through the other logs and found some other co-ords mentioned so tried them. Located the hide but from the wrong side and when I uncovered it from the right side the Melopsittacus was also uncovered (no wonder I didn't spot it the first time I looked there).
After the duties were completed the foliage was returned to leave the marker exposed but not too obvious.

A clever little hide.
At first with 50M to go as I got out of the ute, the pointed me across the roover, then as I turned the gps slightly it swung 180 degrees to point out into the playing field, this kept happening, so I wndered whereever I could to get the distance to reduce, eventually getting close enough to the bush to take the gap in. I got down to 2/6 (2M away, 6M accuracy) when I managed to spot the hide only 4M away. The hint was read, but made no sense until I spotted the "marker" at which point the hint was unnecessary, as the "marker" stood out on it's own.
A nice little spot, with the creek in full flow (pic added) after the "slight" rains of the past few days.
thanks.

Very well done indeed. Took a while to track down because the co-ords are definitely off a little - by my estimates about 15m. Would suggest that S 33 54.885 E 150 54.350 is closer to the mark. Knowing compassreading and having seen his GPS (so to speak), I understand why the posted co-ords are off somewhat. If anybody wants to start a whip-round for the lad for a better GPS put me down for $5!
Really cute cache and certainly of a type that I have never seen before. TFTcreativeC.

Well done! Very well done! I thought it would be more well blended than I discovered, I must admit I still needed a little help, I knew what I was looking for but the coords were off by 10 metres this was probably just today due to the satelite gods.
Really enjoyed this one however the creek was running well too, Thanks for the cache took the coin

The Cache is behind the soccer field behind the church. Did not consider that my GPS would put it on the otherside of the creek.
After a PM with the CO, I went back for another attempt at this one, as I approached the correct GZ, I spied two potential muggles walking a dog nearby...
Then I heard a voice call my name, it was the jkcourtz team, well at least the jk section. It was just as well we met as they were still of the opinion that the cache may have been over the creek. John ripped his shorts climbing over a fence near GZ, just as well he isn't a commando! So with the new information we teamed up for a combined FTF. Now the cache name made sense..Well done compassreading, oh and by the way, we found these coords to be a bit better today, S33 54.884 E150 54.357, no need to go south of the creek. RS

Joint FTF!!!! with Rainbow Spirit. After doing two RS nearby caches and being FTF I had expected that this one would had been done, so after hunting along the creek the Garmin suggested that we look on the other side of the creek. We started heading back to the geo-mobile when I spied RS walking along with GPS in hand. “I thought you would have found this one by now” and then RS told us that the co-ordinates were not quite correct and we did not have to cross the creek, however I did have to cross a fence which I did not do gracefully resulting in a loud rip of my shorts, Damn! O well it provided some entertainment and laughter . The Melopsittacus was spotted nesting and I was thankful that it wasn’t a Dacelo as my Squamata may have been at risk!! . Left geo-coin.
I must admit that the description of the church and talk of a soccer field didn't seem to go with the area my GPSr wanted me, which was on the other side (south) of Cabramatta Creek.
I managed to cross over to that side and I spent a fair bit of time amongst the blackberry and wandering Jew, and many other types of weeds, with no sign of a cache.
