Homeward bound from QOGM2019 and collecting caches along the way. Stopping for the caches makes the drive go along much quicker. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches and making the trip much safer.
Yes there was a row of yellow. Stopped the car near GZ and started looking. Soon found. TFTC Gflunk

One of 5 we went to today. 4 out of 5 is not too bad ! We were guessing a row of yellow leafed trees, so got a surprise to see what it actually is. A quick find with everything in good nick ! Goodbye Gflunk, and thanks for the activities today.
great maintenance job runaway. we actually had a new outside container so have replaced and it should be good as new. this is our 5th maintenance on this trip
Spotted this one as we pulled up. The original container is pretty sad but a fellow cacher has done a good job with the replacement inside it.
We did wonder what the yellow markers were though. At first we thought they might be a trig test line but I checked out the one at GZ and it had no identification plate on it so I guess that's not what they were.
Thanks, our last cache in Goondiwini.

Tftc it led me to exploring the area more whilst staying here for work and discovered the town common
Great repair, maintenance job here runawayz, took a while to work through the new protections. Hope I reassembled correctly b
I have done some basic triage on this one. The notebook was still saturated, so is now on the floor of my car to dry. If CO would like it once dry, please message me a postal address and Im happy to mail the completed pages back. The inner container has now been replaced with another, reinforced with gaffa tape to give it a chance. It was then placed inside a snaplock sandwich bag then into the original outer container, no repairs done to the lid so definitely needs repkacing at some point. The inner container has an identifying mark on tge outside, a new laminated 'you found it' card, a paper log page and a rite in the rain one. Couple items swag also put in. No pen or pencil, so BYOP.
Hope it makes it through to the COs next maintenance run now. Cheers.

Easy little park and grab. We replaced the cliplock bag which contains the log. However it was all very damp and the cache itself probably needs replacing. TFTC
Hi there Gflunk. Today was a driving day - after leaving St George we headed towards Goondiwindi. This cache was a quick find along the way and while the log is dry and quite useable, the container should ideally be replaced before winter rains. SL. Thanks to Gflunk for this cache - our find #6712.
Yaaay!! I'm off on my Brisbane trip. Sad to be leaving my lady and her kids. I shall have to cheer myself up with geocaching ...
I've done some pocket queries and some research on the results. I'm trying to meet lots of targets for Professor Rapidly Wild's UGC series at home, so I'm seeking :
Two caches placed in 2000 - none found so far
One cache placed in 2001 - none found so far
119 caches of size "Regular" - Thirteen found, counting this one
20 caches of size "Large" - One found so far
One letterbox in Qld - none found so far
One letterbox in NSW - none found so far
Any puzzles and multicaches I can reasonably find.
I've located enough caches to find on this trip on this trip to complete all but the last target. So we'll see how I go.
I need a cache in Goondiwindi to give myself a chance of breaking my Project GC distance record for a day. I have driven 150 km more than needed, but crow flight miles are a LOT longer. I'll know how I went in a couple of weeks. Anyway, I'm in Goondi, a motel has been found, I've unloaded, fed and watered the dogs, and now I need the cache. As this one was "Regular" sized, I decided it was a good one. After a bit of driving around, and with my torch, I made an easy find. Now for a dog walk and a good sleep.
Day 1, Monday - 12 in total, including five "Regular" sized caches.
Day 2, Tuesday - 16 in total
Find no 16 of 16 today.
Thanks, Gflunk

Day 1 of my trip to the Clear Waters Mega. Mostly about putting distance between me and my usual stomping ground, but a few caches were picked up along the way.
Just as I was getting back in the car after grabbing this cache, a car pulled alongside me. A police car. Am I lost? No, just looking for something. Queue suspicious looks!

I did try to find this a couple of years ago and failed. this time it was simple. i must have been blind last time. TFTC Gflunk
The lid is still ok but relies on the weight of the rock to keep it closed

After our Christmas visit to Canberra, we are now heading back to Brisbane. And guess what was on the radar: your cache, Gflunk.
Log book is OK but the container is broken at the clips and will not shut tight. Could be a problem next wet season. Sorry don't have anything similar to replace.
Log signed and cache replaced at 1:20 PM on December 30, 2018. TFTC.

Tftc. Just followed the row of yellow to the end. And there it was like the gold of pot at the end of the rainbow. Errrrrrr...maybe not exactly like that. But I found the cache and signed the logbook.
Not quite a yellow brick road
There was plenty of yellow things to follow though !!
OK !! Some businesses seem to be repainting the yellow things in shades of blue and green,
but the yellowness remains in an unbroken,
regularly spaced line for 700 metres
Close to the end of the yellowness,
I found OZ
Should have worn me red shoes for this one

Sixth of 8 caches found this morning as we clean out two towns! A good quick find. Thanks Gflunk for placing this cache for us to find after shouting ourselves coffee at the bakery, which turned out to be a very popular spot. TN LPt and Tb to be discovered SL TFTC
We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Heading to 2018 Big Red Bash at Birdsville, just had to grab a few roadside caches along the way.
Currently camped with El_Peregrinos so decided today to head out and grab a few caches in town before we go on a Cotton Farm tour. Really enjoying our visit to Goondiwindi.

We are staying a couple of days at Goondiwindi on our way to Birdsville for the Big Red Bash. We headed out with FelixII to grab a few caches around town before doing the cotton tour this afternoon. All good with the cache TFTC Gflunk
TFTC. We had decided to stay an extra night at the Showgrounds where the cowboys were doing their stuff. Cotton Country Cutting Comp. also gave us a chance to find another cache or two.
We chose the dusty unmade route to GZ as we'd be walking the geomuts in the Botanical gardens. There were lots of Fairy Wrens, (Mrs. Herbz favourite bird) flitting around as Mr. Herbz went in for find. Nice hide. TFTC
Day 19 of our caravan trip going South from Queensland. Stopped at my birthplace Culcairn , explored Phillip Island and Wilsons Prom, took The Great Alpine Road to Bonegilla and Wodonga.
Spent 10 beautiful days in Victoria. Now in NSW.
Driving back home via Goondiwindi.
Thank you for all those well maintained caches here.

Found by Mary & David at 0930. Wonder why the row of yellow is there? Delighted to see a flock of magpie geese on the way here. A quick find at GZ. Our thanks to Gflunk.
Saw the yellow immediately! Traded some treasures, left a superhero and Pokémon cards
Out and about for a three day road trip.
And today it is pouring with rain. The locals need it so I am not complaining ... much.
I managed to park close to this one and made the dash to the cache.
Back to the van to sign the log book and another dash back to hide it again. [^]
Thanks for the cache.

Found a slightly larger container and replaced the broken one.

Catching up on what should have been logged long time ago. Driving the long way down to Sydney, added an 1939 Australian penny into cache. Replaced the lid that was broken.
Found at 11:28 AM GAFF1.
An interesting trip down this track as we had a 21' van behind us. Managed to turn it around amongst the cattle trucks and then it was out to find the cache which as you know is wrecked.
Thanks Gflunk.
Feedback: Would love to know what that hint means - not that I needed it

Had a great time at the Alice Mega and now on the homeward stretch so still looking for caches along the way. Coongoola may sign small log sheets as CG if there's not much room.
Needs a new container soon but contents still dry and in tact.
Thanks for the cache Gflunk.

I wasn't the kind of row of yellow we were expecting.. none the less we followed to the end and the cache revealed itself. We brushed off some dried mud and logged. Thanks Gflunk.
Out with GeoHubby. ...riding around town and came out to this spot on a lovely sunny day.
