Found with e.gregory1 on a trip from Adelaide to north-western Western Australia. After spending two nights at Big Lagoon in Francois Peron National Park we called in at this cache on our way through Nanson as we headed out to our next campsite near Mullewa. Thanks for the cache TeamBastholm!
After camping at Big Lagoon in Francois Peron National Park for the last couple of nights, FeatherWaite and I headed down towards Mullewa, finding a few selected caches on the way. This was our last find for the day.The container and contents were in good order. Thanks TeamBastholm for the cache.
Hi there TeamBastholm. While out on the road today we found this cache at 0408pm after a short search - and the container and log are in good condition. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to TeamBastholm for this cache - our find 10897 and the 8th of 11 finds for the day.FieldNotes: The cache and Log are in good condition.
Weve been volunteering with BlazeAid for the last eight days at Nanson. Today we finished fencing early as it was predicted to be 35c again today. This gave me some time to seek out a few Geocaches. Left a copper tube and a sticker. STL TFTC
Cant believe that this cache has remained unfound for so long and that when last found it was on a similar day.Stepped down and located it without difficulty.Greetings from Northern IrelandSL TFTC # 3683
Our plan today was to travel down the Chapman Valley Road and pick up some caches along the way. Thought this would be a tricky hide but was soon spotted. Signed and replaced where found. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.
Caravanning, caching and hunting wild flowers on the trip from S.A. Did a day trip to Northampton from Geraldton and taking the scenic route on the way home. Was a perfect day for caching. Mr. Wombat had to do this one. Just about too old for these. Haa. T.F.T.C.
Found it. TFTC TeamBastholm. Once I got to GZ it was a quick find, replaced as found.
Day 2 Arrived in Gero last night. The plan today is to hit the series and caches around Gero. Thanks to the COs for placing these caches - sorry for the genetic log. Signing as GT Lachy climbed down for this one as I tentatively watched on - loved the old bridge here
Caching in the Greater Geraldton area today. Our intention for the day was to attack some power trails and do map cleanup around town.
Easy find once I was on the correct side of the river. Neat spot. Cheers TeamBastholm!

A nice easy find, quite pleasantly surprised to see it there after the dnfs
Walked down the rocks carefully and spotted the cache sitting there, with a couple of rocks gently placed on it.
Great to see a good sized container, visible from a short distance, so knew which direction to head
Signing the log, replaced as found and happy to put a smiley here
Thanks for sharing this location

Can you please reinstate this cache as it is still in place, no idea why they can’t find it as I was about two meters away and could see the box, co-ords are basically bang on, thanks

A quick and easy find this afternoon. Staying nearby so decided to have an afternoon caching.
Thanks TeamBastholm for placing this cache.
Thanks TeamBastholm for placing this cache.
A nice quick good find on a drive from where we are staying at Oakabella Homestead. Such a beautiful little spot. Tftc
Hi there TeamBastholm.
We found your cache **"Nanson Bridge"** at 11:30:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 22628).
We are staying in Geraldton for a few days catching up with friends. When we had a free moment we started our caching run by nominating a cache some distance from our camp site and then took a route that was sometimes determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. We thoroughly enjoyed our interesting trek around the local area
We ended up finding a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route. (14 finds today & 1 DNF's). Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic travels around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape. Perhaps a T2 would be more appropriate though.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Nice cache the climb down was interesting and the bones perhaps and update cause it's not lvl 1 terrain.
PP1 gallantly went for this one & found it quite quickly too. All in good order here. TFTC TeamBastholm
After attending the Geraldton International Geocaching Day Event we headed of to Pindar to check out the wreath flowers.
As we headed back to Geraldton this was a short stop on the way we just couldn't let pass by especially since we had had a DNF on it a few days previously
We had been fooled by the terrain rating last time but this time we looked more thoroughly and came up with the find.
A DNF rectified.

Day 2 of our mini road trip and still in town doing some more caching. Today's plan tackle Alexander series then head to Northampton, Nabawa, and Nanson then back to Gero.
Have a few caches on my list so fingers crossed we can manage as many as possible
Turns out another warm day in town and I didn't pack my shorts
I was hoping this one wasn't were it was. A terrain 3 level for me but muggle came with me to make sure I didn't face plant any rocks or fall down to the bottom.
Saw cache when a few metres away so a quick grab and sign

Headed back up to Geraldton for another caching run (third time this year). We started off by picking up as many caches as we could in the wheatbelt on the first day before arriving in Geraldton. The next day we headed up to port Gregory and Kalbarri and the highlight of the day would have to be be the pink lakes in port Gregory. Day 3 saw us caching in Geraldton picking up some we missed last time and clearing up a few of our DNFS here before adding some more DNFS to the list. Day 4 we headed off to mount magnet picking up some caches along the way till we arrived there. I must say the caches in mount magnet were quite tricky to find and it was also a stinking hot day so we didn't get to find all the caches we were hoping to find there. The last day we cached along the coast on the way home. Once again it was stinking hot and we missed doing a lot of the caches we hoped to find plus the flies were driving us crazy but we still got to visit some great places. Most of the caches we looked for we did find and we came across some very sneaky well made cache containers along the way. Thanks to all the CO,s for placing there caches for us and all the other geocachers to find.
Headed out early this morning with iluvtrekking with Nanson and surrounds as our destination. Of course there were other various locations to explore along the way and some great caches. This was a tough find. Ended up searching both ends of the bridge. After systematic search we eventually located the container around 12 mts from where gps wanted us to be. Thanks TeamBastholm
We had a wonderful day today exploring the countryside around Geraldton looking for history, flowers and caches. We had to work for this one and we eventually found the cache some 12m from where our GPS was indicating. Thanks TeamBastholm.
Headed up to Geraldton for 4 days to try and find as many caches as we could. Its been 6 months since we were last there and there has been so many new caches come out that we will need another trip there to find them all. We ended up finding 215 and about a dozen DNFS. We picked a few up on the way and did a detour on the way home to Mullewa and i must say the wildflowers are beautiful at the moment. We found a great variety of caches including a couple of wherigo,s, lots of field puzzles, multi,s and the highlight for the hubby was doing the chirp cache. I would like to say all caches were found quickly but that definately wasnt the case lol.... There was some very tricky and sneaky hides that took quite a while to find with a few we went back a couple of times to till we found them. We managed to find a few that we previously had DNFS on and it was was great finding a lot of creative cache containers especially some of the field puzzle ones. Thanks to everyone for the caches and hope to find a lot more on our next trip to geraldton....
TFTC! Today was day two of the "boys weekend" with me and Cravo heading up to Geraldton for IGD 2016, my third trip to this great part of our state and johns second. Think we will continue to do this every year? Especially with all of the new caches getting published around town!!
We picked up a number of new caches along the route and even some that we had missed on previous visits, being in a 4wd this year made it a lot easier to get to some of the hard to reach places that a 2wd would struggle to get to.
Started day two meeting up with Kyzabra, Jinta, Grannett, SVKR, M4YB, clan Wallace and others to grab some orange tree series caches. We grabbed two and missed two, with safety being a first
Priority, two of them were just simply too high up even with some pretty series ladders!!
We then headed out to Nanson, Nabawa and finally to Northampton to complete the Nabawa Bound caches and everything Inbetween whilst dodging cyclists on the "tour de Geraldton" as we dubbed it. Was some really nice country driving today, this is way I love about caching, getting out and seeing the state on remote country roads.
We headed into Northhampton and found our first cache at the window entrance to town, and were surprised not to see the motley crew of Kyzabra, Jinta, Grannett and SVKR as they were heading to Northampton from the orange tree series so I thought it only fitting to leave them a nice little note in the logbook. We grabbed a couple of other caches around town and were met up by the motley crew at one of them, before we basically joined forces to grab the caches between Northampton and Geraldton. With six sets of eyes the caches didn't really stand much of a chance, although we did have to PAF at one!!
We made our way back into town and grabbed a bunch of caches with the motley crew along the Alexander trail where we signed logs at team PGC, don't really know what it means but that's what we signed the first fifteen or so with until the motley crew decided they need lunch and went their own way and we continued to finish the series and met up with other cachers further down who were out enjoying the sunshine.
Grab a couple of other "must do" caches the chirp chirp cache (highly recommended), Roxy rotunda (previous multiple DNF), something fishy (think we've tried for about five times!!) which was great as we had no DNFs which is very good for Geraldton!!
After lunch we headed back to the room to get ready for the event, arriving slightly later than planned we were only there for a short time before caches were published!! Someone announced twenty four emails had come though and I loaded the map and started running north to the nearest cache, gaining some valuable meters on the competition
It was like a scene from the IKEA ad, with Cravo asking if he should get he car and me yelling back "GET THE CAR!!" So I legged it to the first cache and he got the car and picked me up, it was the first of about fifteen FTFs for the day, we
Completed all of the caches north of the event and then looped back around to grab the caches furthest north and then back toward the event. We had a couple of DNFS Which was disappointing.
We headed back to the event and had the pleasure of completing some of geraldtons finest caches, the shake rattle roll, emergency were awesome. We were one of the few teams that actually didn't need the CO to assist by bringing the key!! Definitely a favourite and probably easier doing it with a beer in hand by the foreshore!!
After finishing the event we had a quick drive out to grab the new plane caches, got 3/4 there and then headed down to the water to complete he whereigo cache (highly recommended) and the two traditionals on the walk. Can't wait for tomorrow's adventure.
Thanks to the local COs for their caches

Headed to Geraldton for the International Geocaching Day event on Saturday 20th August.
Barnzy12 and I packed the car at 6am and headed North. Despite making a critical error by choosing the freeway to start the journey we then made it to Geraldton and checked into the motel.
Today was day two and started with a little tree climbing caches with a group of others.
We then headed further north today prior to returning to gero for the event at 2pm.

On me way into Nanson,
a quick stop at the bridge was needed to find a cache
I wandered closer to the bridge,
and decided that this might take a little bit longer than I thought
I narrowed down GZ as best I could,
and after a rare bit of 'where would I hide it ?' inspiration,
found the cache in the first place I looked
*I beamed* with a cheesy grin on me dial

Phone was jumping around and two words came to mind, those being needle and haystack . So decided to walk around town and focus on some others. TFTH tho.

We have had a big day of caching today! This was going to be #25 on our journey from Geraldton to Northampton to Nabawa to Nanson! Alas a DNF for us! Too much rock climbing too late in the day!
Too good to be true. After 2 quick finds Little Red Riding Hood (aka my GPSr ) not only had me on the wrong side of the road, but also on the wrong side of the river. Eventually I retrieved the cache. I was incredibly hot and tired by now and Pa (a friendly muggle) was ready to go by the time I got back to the car. Many thanks for placing and maintaining this cache. Signed as SG.
Instead of returning from Gerro straight up the highway, I decided to take the long way and pick up a few caches I've had my eye on for a while. I'm glad I did, the area is very interesting and probably not visited by many travellers. This one was fairly easy once I thought "where would this be so as to not get washed away by the river rising?" Someone had left the cache uncovered and exposed to muggles, so I re-hid it using "obvious" cover. TNLNSL, TFTC teamBastholm
Another one found by geograndson cheeky little bugger had it even before I turned into a mountain goat to get to it

Out on a mission today to make a few finds. First stop Nanson Bridge. Excellent spot for cache and fortunately only one passer by. TFTC TeamBastholm.
Took the long way around under the old bridge and through prime snake territory. No bunyips, but did find a horse, an eagle and the cache. TFTC
Found this one after a scramble around the rocks under the bridge. Grabbed the geo coin and will relocate ASAP. TFTC

Found this one after searching high and low near and far. Took the gps a while to settle but once it did the co-ords were spot cache is in good nick. Was a beautiful drive out to this one with everything starting to turn green after the rains. Tftc TeamBastholm. Awesome spot for a first hide.
Way to dangerous for my gammy geolegs, so geo hub tried the rocks, to no avail. He was right on GZ, but which one!!!
Day 3, caching around Geraldton, on our 2nd trip around Australia.
Took a nice drive this afternoon, along Chapman Valley Drive.
After a short search, the cache was located.
I feel this cache should be rated as a 2/3, due to it's location and having to climb over rocks.
Thanks for the cache, TeamBastholm.

Our first find. After being inspired by International Geocaching Day in Geraldton yesterday we started on this journey - great fun! TFTC.
Easy find, but a bit of a climb which was a bit hard due to recent surgery but well worth it. TFTC TeamBastholm.

beautiful location when the grass is green! took necklace, left the Geo_hobo travel bug! he seems at home under the the bridge! hope he travels more soon! tftc, lost_but_happy!
We had a look for this one a fair while ago to no avail. However, this time the new GPS put us right on it in no time at all. Took necklace left necklace. SL TFTC TeamBastholm
A quick find with a little geo-intuition! A very well designed cache, thank you! ^_^
Looked for well over half an hour, I fear it might have been washed away by the rains or maybe even vandalised, there were signs of a boozy gathering under the bridge.
Took us a while to find the cache... It was exactly where the GPS indicated -- I just took a while to realise it!
Thanks for an interesting cache site.

We had to get this cache before leaving the area as we have been staying with friends only a couple of km's away and it has taken us 9 days to stop and have a look. It's definitely a case of the old and the new here and although the old bridge is no longer in use these structures still seem to have more character than their modern counterparts.
Thanks Team Bastholm for bringing us here

After two days of cleaning the Jeep and caravan following our return to Geraldton from our around Oz trip we were starting to get withdrawls from cache hunting. The Monaro hadnt been started in over 9 months so Ian bought it a new battery (another story) and we took it for a run to find this cache.
We hunted for a while and then finally found the cache. There was a small amount of water in the river and I mean very small, obviously Geraldton didn't have an awful lot of rain while we were out of town. We really enjoyed looking over the old bridge, we have been across it often but not seen it from this angle before.
thanks

Starting Point for "It's an Adventure" first to find Trackable. Now we have figured out it's purpose..
WAHOO. FTF. Our first. Not often we have the opportunity around here so a little ride after work was in order. An easy find and well placed. Claimed the FTF trackable. Took the waterbottle keyring and left pedometer and foreign coins. TFTC
