Logs
Cars zipping past while the can was searched for. Plenty of room on the dry logslips someone chucked in to keeps the cache going. TFTC
One of two Archived still available caches found on the list of archived listings of interest to break up the journey nailing all the P&G's in the Cromwell area not in relation to the MATM promotion challenge and a stretch of the legs for less serious caching to take the edge off traveling over the past couple of days. Found the culvert and pond trying not to lag any traffic looking for a safe place to pull off the road. Not the most easiest stretch of road with the tile gutter likely to lose a wheel if I drifted too far left. Someone had taken out the other gateway and a few minutes spent lifting broken posts before a rethink and rehash of the PQ. OOoh it's over there lol. Found the black taped berrocca tube and while an earlier finder had added a new logbook, a few peeps had SL but didn't need so much paper lest interested peeps were lined to find these available caches and grabbed some pages for spares to make for a snug fit with the good baggy. Not too keen on jumping in the pond, too weedy and DEEP! TFTC Bitsprayer, without the cache I wouldn't have stopped here. DDay
We are interested in finding archived caches. So when we saw this as a possible find we had to stop and check it out. Sure enough it was still there. Thank you for the cache and thank you for the smiley

Had picked up Ruru_NZ from Cromwell and we decided to head to Alexandra for the night instead of staying there. Found the cache, signed and placed back - all good to go.
First day of my Oamaru GeoFest week. Met up the KCN early afternoon, changed plan and headed to Alexandra.
This one quickly found, and has a nice new logbook, so thanks for that. Replaced to match the clue.
Thanks for the smilie.

Quick park & grab as we were leaving the area. Couldn't sign log as it was saturated. Took photo instead. TFTC
Log book saturated & not in a bag. Will need replaced. Sorry I didn't have any log books on me.
Stunning landscape here. I have taken a photo and asked miss 9 (who started art classes this year) if she could please paint it for my birthday. A favourite point from me. Tftc
Oh, so much thyme everywhere... It loooks like our heather at home - until you get out of the car, feel the smell of thymolole and realize that all this is thyme and even more thyme.
**Thanks** for the cache!

*Finally vacation and time for the trip 'down under' to Australia and New Zealand via China. We’re expecting to see a lot of different animals and flowers and also hope to find nice caches and meet other geocachers during our journey.*

A quick park and grab while on the way home from Cromwell. Left Cromwell early today so I had time to stop and get a few caches that I have been past many time and never had time to stop. So TFTC
The last time we visited New Zealand in 1998, we missed the Milford Sound because of lack of time.
Now, as W is working in Sydney and C is visiting him, it was very close by.
So we decided to turn her visit into a small New Zealand vacation.
And off course this can't be done without a few geocaches.
A few turned into about 150 of them.
We started in Queenstown, but this time no bungy jumping anymore.
At the airport we switched the gsm-card to a NZ one, with internet access.
That way we would be able to check for recent logs and spoiler photos.
After we got our rental car we started the gps.
We're not used to driving on the left side of the road, but that was no problem with all the road signs.
During our last visit it was summer, now it was autumn.
The weather looked more like home, but we had our umbrella and raincoat with us, which we used a lot.
At the Milford Sound the rain was an advantage, as the rainfalls were huge.
Today was our bet caching day, 25 founds.
while W looked for the cache C looked around.
Thanks for the cache.

Biked the river trail (picturesque in autumn colours) from Clyde to Alexandra, then back along the rail trail from Alex to Clyde. After returning our hired bikes in Clyde, jumped back in the car to do a few caches in what was left of the day. This was the only one we stopped for on our way back to Queenstown. Quick find. #1174. TFTC.
A straightforward find while cycling from Queenstown to the start of the Otago Central Rail Trail.
Thank you Bitsprayer for this cache.

A Very easy find.
Cache container was clearly visible from roadside.
Now has a little more cover, but still very findable.
Thanks.

Heading around the lower south island on a family holiday and we are going to pick up a few caches along the way. As many as the wife / mother will let us get away with. To save time and data, these logs will be shared and written by Roaming-Haywards and The Real Batman. This is the last day of the trip and we have been given the green light to grab as many as we can on the way home. Still grabbing the caches I can that don’t have hordes of muggles around. Beginning to think today was not the best day to embark on this trip. Another nice and quick park and find in the area. Parking proved to be not as bad as I thought it would be with a layby of sorts just along from GZ. Waiting for a break from the traffic took a little while but we were patient and the moment came. Thanks for another cache, RH and TRB

Flew past this one so had to back track to the better parking for a quick find and off again. TFTC #7615
On Tour together with Sabe73 as Team "TheBros" around South Island to visit some nice spots.
We also visited this location and could find the box almost quickly.
Thank you for showing us this place and of course for the Cache.
Greetings from Carinthia/Austria.

Not much traffic on the road and good parking meant a quick find. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
by the time we had finished a busy day working near tarras it was already dark and I still needed a find for the day to continue my streak so this one was perfect as we headed back to omakau had the boss pull over so I could grab it quick find and was soon back on the road tftc
Quick find. Was able to put the cache back before a group of Asian tourists stopped to take photos of this lovely spot. The sun on the autumn colours was just amazing. Thanks for the cache.
We’re here from the UK on the trip of a lifetime with Geocaching as one of the ‘must do’ elements of the trip.
Thanks to the cache owner for bringing us here; we would have missed this beautiful sight if not for the cache.

Thanks to all the owners of the geocaches that we found today on our trip to Cromwell via Clyde. We enjoyed our day!
TFTC and greetings from Belgium.
TFTC and greetings from Belgium.
With the headwind and passing traffic I didn't hear the call so cycled on only to turn around and find JRB5050 gone, finally she caught up and said there is a cache back there, luckily a passing truck drowned out her cries of exasperation. TFTC
Since we’re caching buddies, and he drafts for me so much on this bike trip, I signed PC Sniff’s name and claimed the cache for him as well as me, but in truth, he had gone past the spot and I’m not even sure he realized I’d found it. However cycling along the gorge, with cars whizzing past and very little shoulder on the road was enough to make anyone want to keep on going. Thanks for placing this cache. I enjoyed the stop.
On my way from Dunedin to Queenstown I was happy to make some cool finds today
(Allthough there are quite a few "dead caches" along the route! [xx(])
Thanks to the owners for hiding and maintaining the the "living" caches that I was able to find today [^] [^] - and cheers from Germany!

Looked for this at the end of March/early April last year and it definitely wasn't there. Seems to have been replaced around this time according to the logs. TFTC.
A quick pull in and clue helped. The road was quite busy at that time so had to wait for a minute or two to let them pass. TFTC
Nice little lake. Wonder if it was a secret treasure only known to a few when Lake Dunstan was yet to be and the river was far below along with the road....
Quick find, didn't stay long, still raining.
Found on our Invercargill to Christchurch road trip. Thanks to all the Cache Owners. SL TFTC.

Found the spot and the few rocks under which the cache should have been hidden. Unfortunately no cache there.

Tried this with a previous finder as we headed for Clyde. Nice spot but no cache for us.
