Do not have time anywhere in the near future to be able to get to the cache to perform maintenance - so in fairness to all will archive the cache - thanks everyone who has visited my cache - I have enjoyed reading the logs
Another quick stop and a cache grab. The log book was a wad of wet paper, so I put in a new piece but it won't last long. Cache needs maintenance.
#581 A nice cache on our NZ drive.
Today we found a total of just under 60 caches, breaking our record of caches in a day. we saw many beautiful sights and visited many nice places, New Zealand is full of these. We drove up from Greymouth to Punakaiki and across to Hanmer Springs. A long day with a lot of driving but it was definitely worth it.
Thanks to all the hiders for their caches, without you we would not be able to find these caches and some of these great spots.
All logs were signed wherever possible. Some logs were full or waterlogged and this prevented us from logging them.

On our fourteenth day in New Zealand we drove from Greymouth to Nelson. Weather was again grey and wet, not our favourit for Geocaching )
Also we were grateful for the stop here, the fresh air and few steps outside to overcome some signs of tiredness. The target was clear and the box soon in our hands.
TFTC and greetings from Switzerland

Found it with Team FIN [janahola, kapeka, laalaa & temyllyl]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in New Zealand. Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was pretty good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and really scenary country!
Greetings from Finland

Seventh day on our geo-roadtrip in New Zealand, and caching our way towards south. Logged using our group nickname FIN with janahola, laalaa and kapeka. Driving to south and heading to Christchurch Mega event. Heading south by west coast via some nice caches!
On a geoholiday road tripping to Christchurch MEGA and around beautiful New Zealand. Our four people group (temyllyl, laalaa, kapeka and myself) from Finland used group tag FIN to log the caches.
Welcome to MEGA Finland in 5-7 august 2016!
Today we drove from Nelson to Greymouth. Of course some caching on the way. This was one of todays finds. TFTC!

Found on our 25 day New Zealand South Island holiday.
Apologies for the late log but with little or no internet as we travelled and only super slow WiFi in van parks I decided to log all finds on my return home.
Found on our Westward journey to Westport

Touring the South Island on a family holiday. A little time for a few caches along the way as well as sight seeing and other fun. Thanks to all the owners of the caches we found while exploring some interesting nooks and crannies of the Mainland.

Ahh what awesome caches I have seen on my travels this week , from fake logs, to mint tins stuck to posts, to nanos under benches to awesome tree climbing cache hides, his week has been an awesome time to check out the new caches and of course old!! It was great to see all the different places too, like nelson, and greymouth, and Blenheim of course!! Then there was the small tiny areas, where we stopped to see earthquake museums, with of course the ''rural' caches as I like to call them. then of course there was the significance of stop offs; like the bulla swing bridge, where I went, saw and conquered there and back twice, while dad stooof o the comfort of the flat grass, smiling, waving and taking pictures Funny, but the best part about that bridge was when the people who worked there, started to come across when I was I was about half way going back ,so they had to get past, so they tilted the bridge sideways, onto its side, so then I could get past, it was pretty scary, but awesome too!! Then the bridge bounced and went side to side and swung it was really awesome! Then as they walked to the other side they were jumping and swinging from side to side, it was great fun!!:)
But anyway the caches I encoun tered on my trip were rreally good, each one was different in some way, including popmacs mint trail series in the north island, which was a really neat idea!!
Anyway, I would like to say thanks tov all the great cache owners who took their time to place all these caches Thank you and well yeah TFTCs all round

Found this cache on our way from kookier to hokitika via pancakes mountains Thank you for sharing a lot cool places with us and making our way more bearable Thanks a lot and greetings from czech republic
A road trip of sorts to rectify some Geocaching stuff. First, I've not found any West Coast/Westland caches and second I seem to be stuck on 39 Earthcaches for a while so want/need to push that number along a bit. Oh, and the small matter of getting past 3000 caches in total was also a target today after falling short on our extremely hot and bothered caching trip to Motueka yesterday.
Up at 0530 and on the road at 0615 it was an extremely long day which encompassed 16 hours of driving, 700 kms of driving, and a little bit of fuel sustenance for the thirsty Terrano! With nightowl19 in the co pilots seat and some food, water and plans to cache out to Greymouth via Pancake rocks and back (which got changed later in the day to be via Reefton)
Saw sandflies, eels, sandflies, weka, sandflies, rain and........sandflies, and much more. A great days caching
Only doing non Premium member caches to allow nightowl19 to complete all the ones I do and not have to sift through the others (also keeps the time down!)
Nice easy find, and onwards we go

Will try and see if I can get a new log to here in the near future - not heading this way for a wee while so will try to see if any other cachers traveling might oblige
We found it on our way to Greymouth on a very sunny and beautiful day. The log was very wet. Greetings from Germany and TFTC.
During our trip through NZ we found a lot of interesting places and caches of course.
Thanks to all owners for hiding and leading us to some special places.

First find on our little trip across the island to Kaikoura for New Year's Eve ... We've eyed this one up a few times but haven't been able too stop. Tftc
12926… Nice story about the Sleepy Wakeup, good for us to have a break here too, TFTC.
Makka pakka 2 went out to day to see what he could find and look what he found TFTC. On a quick trip to the cost to day only had time for 3 or 4 caches
Quick drive by. Glad about the quick part as it is very wet today

We were wide awake for this one. Walked over very soggy ground after all the recent rain. TFTC
Quick stop with the trusty motorhome Matilda parked down the road a bit ...sloshed through the muddy grass to grab this one. I had my camera in hand to provide a distraction or explanation to all those muggles zipping past in their cars. Thanks for the cache.
Poor hitch hiker. She thought we were stopping for her, only to be told "sorry love, we're here for a cache". Never mind, she got a better ride anyway. TFTC!!!
Touch and go as it started to rain, but Heafudd M was brave and made it a find. TFTC
Our eleventh find of twelve today. Easy find. Log was a bit damp and tricky to get out of container. Folded it a bit tighter to make it a bit easier for the next person I hope.
Nice quick find here today thanks. When we used to travel down here regularly for work there were some great stories about missing this corner on the way home - not because the navigator was sleeping but because we were too busy talking! TFTC #4647
Found it together with Team Autoværn on our New Zealand tour back in 2013.

Pretty much no one else around, parked up about 100 metres from GZ and raced Miss Geckoh to the cache. The weather is currently holding out, for which we are very grateful. TFTC
