Took a few laps to find. Did not write in log due to ferocious ants having been stung twice
Being a Saturday afternoon didnt think we would be able to look for due to golfers. However not only were the golfers there were also cricketers. Walked to coordinates trying to look casual. Cache found. Look at this lovely log I can sit on. Bitten twice by an extremely large ant. Very painful. Log signed and casually walked back to car. TFTC Gflunk.

Lots of laps around the tree until we got low and poked in! Loj made the find! Tftc
Whilst on our half lap convinced muggle driver to make a few stops here and there to make some finds. Thanks ps late logs sorry
What a lovely big tree this is. We found your cache nicely covered with camo. Popped in a new rite-in-the-rain log strip. All is good and dry here tho. Replaced exactly as found. Thank you.
We were about to declare defeat and log a DNF here as we made circuit after circuit of our GZ. After about 15 minutes searching the "nah, let's give up" from one of us and the "think I've got it" from the other came together as one.
Busy day at the Goondiwindi golf course. A few caravanners sitting under awnings. A convoy of golf carts racing onto the green. And a lone geocacher doing laps of a tree My legs needed a stretch.TFTC Gflunk
In town for a week for work but not found til I was on my way home as we were just a bit too busy for me to duck off caching prior sadly. Interesting stand of trees here. No cache guardians fortunately for me. Tftc
Gflunk I found your cache Golf vs Cricket on 10/5/2024, 9:20AM. This is my find 6652 and find # 2 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
A great little location in the Golf club grounds. Found by hubby Hans straight away. Tftc
We are on our 2nd day out, heading to Melbourne for Christmas. We only had 1 cache and the Adventure Lab in town. Sadly the cache could not be located today.
As my self and CaptainKirky are heading home from our road and caching holiday, we thought we would stop by and try to find this cache, but unfortunately due to time we were not able to find this cache.
I arrived at the local golf club, and walked towards GZ, where I searched for the cache for about 5-10 min, before finding the well-hidden cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. I noted that the logbook looks a little inconsistent from recent online finders, which I found strange. Thanks Gflunk for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This 1.5 week trip, the purpose was the Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster (QOGM) in Longreach, with its aim to encourage tourism and support in rural towns. Departing from Brisbane on Friday 15/09/2023, I travelled solo taking the northern route through Gayndah, Emerald and Jericho on my way to the event, and then returned through Blackall, Morven, St George, Goondiwindi, and Toowoomba arriving back on Monday 25/09/2023.My Longreach highlights included the two QOGM muster/rally days visiting Muttaburra and Isisford; the Qantas Founders Museum; Stockmans Hall of Fame; Silver Tails Rail Sunset Tour; and the general historical town vibe. Other highlights to/from Longreach included climbing Mt Scoria; Barcaldine's Tree of Knowledge and kayaking in the water park; Blackall woolshed scour; and the smaller intriguing and historical towns that I passed through.During my travel days when I was time-poor, I targeted geocaches that were older in age, high D-T, puzzles/challenges, and rare cache types. In addition, I added 7-8 visited LGAs to my statistics. The scenery was memorable with picturesque sunsets, and a diversity of flora and fauna. There were plenty of kangaroos and wallabies, emus, goannas/lizards, brolgas, hawks, and alas wild hogs, and goats.Today, I was homeward bound from Morven to Brisbane, detouring through Mitchell, St George, Goondiwindi, Leyburn, and Toowoomba. It was great to add another couple of visited LGAs to my statistics: Balonne and Goondiwindi Regional. The premise for my initial southerly journey was oldie [Wild & Wonderful West](https://coord.info/GC119TJ), and then onwards to St George and its scenic river, followed by a visit to Beardmore Dam. I continued east to Goondiwindi, and enjoyed the Qld-NSW border town's history and sculptures. Finally, after visiting Leyburn and completing the [Leyburn Historical Tour](https://coord.info/GC809ZM), I headed along Rosenthal-Clifton Road for a few attractive D-T geocaches that included adventurous tree climbs and tree fishing retrievals.Adventure Labs completed: [Sights of Goondiwindi](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/173f0260-5088-4fac-b0ad-fd7cab4b14c0); and [Inglewood Lions Park](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/f4c1fbb7-37b4-4b65-a87e-e50a9396d4c2).
Dropping into the Queensland side of the border real quick after a work trip, Thanks for the cache, All was in good condition with this one. Log signed and returned where found.
So many possibilities of where to put a cache here. Took a while but got it in the end. TFTH
Thought we were going to be in for quite a search, but found within a minute or two.
Log was full- signed where we could.
Have placed some paper in a snap-lock bag for future use. It’s a tight squeeze though!
Found as part of our 'north for warmer weather' trip from North East Victoria to Central Queensland, via Curtis Island! We have enjoyed the great variety of caches along the way. Thank you to all the COs who maintain them for us to enjoy.

Walked from O'Shea's after a 7 hr drive. Needed thr 1.5km walk to stretch out the legs and justify all the pub stops on the way back to the hotel
Quick find then after doing the AL decided to come back and spend the night here. Thanks for the cache.
Found while on work. Logbook is full. Found a spot in the middle of the book.

Both my Geodog Scruffy and myself were itching to get out and find a few caches, so with the weather looking pleasant, we headed off
This one took way longer than I had counted on. Started getting dizzy going round the tree trying to find new spots to look.
Then, when some golfers were starting to get close, something caught my eye.
Was not what I was looking for. [^]
All Good .. TFTC ..

A trip to Perth checking out some of the awesome places along the way in ACT, NSW, outback Qld and NT. Grabbing some old caches and missing LGAs. TFTC.
Back again. The place was over run with cricket players yesterday. Today its golfers. Went around the tree many times and was ready to give up. Even went to the next one for a look. One more lap or two. Got ya.

Luckily the eagle-eyed geowife spotted this one after circling the host a couple of times where I had just looked .
Thanks for placing and maintaining this hide for us and others to enjoy!

After a quick search, the cache was located. Logbook is full. I was able to find a bit of space in the log book to put my name. TFTC
On a road trip from Adelaide with my muggle mate. We have cycling friends having a joint 60th in Noosa, then we are off to Hervey Bay to see some family and the return home……who knows which route we’ll take, if I place a log for your cache, you’ll have a vague idea of which way we have taken

Good find, look with a careful eye. Took a while to find good hide!! First one!!
A great spot to stretch my legs after arriving from Tamborine near the Gold Coast. This could have taken me a lit longer but EYE spied it on my 2nd walk around. Lucky EYE didn’t poke my eye out!
Its taken me a month to log but Ive finally did it. Caching with TheSkype, this is a nice part of town, cache spotted quickly. TFTC
#4150 A quick find with Green-martian. Visiting from Canberra, traveling from Moree to Goondiwindi. This is a nice town. TFTC.
We thought it was in a tree but we couldn't find it. We think it was on a string tied to a bolt in a part of the tree, but it might have fallen off.
My first attempt at this cache was back in 2016.
At that time it was Magpie season, an Geohubby and I were on our bikes. We had about 5 of them chasing us down the driveway and never let us be until we rode back out! Needless to say back then it alluded me.
Fast forward to today, and to my great joy, those magpies just watched us from a distance... whew!
Reading the other comments, I knew I was in for a good ol search... round and round I went ...upsetting a lot of ants
Thankfully I was able to get my smiley and we rode back out... with the ever present magpies watching us from a far.

Wow that took us a bit longer than it should have to find very well hidden thank you
I had to circle the tree before I spotted it. Lots of hidey places in this old specimen. Signed in a blank spot, out of order. TFTC Gflunk.
Tftc GFlunk, able to drive in towing the caravan, plenty of room.
Made the find quickly.
Cache is in good condition.

My husband and i are on a little road trip and finding smileys along the way. This cache took a few circles to find and it was the last place i looked. Funnily i left my husband at our cabin watching cricket and came to find this cache. Had to wait for some golfing muggles to move on before i could start my search. Thanks for all the fun
Heading home from QOGM21 and thought we'd pick this one up. A few muggles around but managed to sign log. TFTC
A quick find this morning, log signed cache replaced as found.
Thanks Gflunk for the cache.
Thanks Gflunk for the cache.
On my way home from the QOGM and continuing my outback adventures, it was onto Goondiwindi before turning and heading to Brisbane. I had a list of caches to collect and places to see, some oldies and some for a grid position.
This was a quick find, we parked right next to the cache, the log was signed before we replaced the cache as found. Thank you for placing this one here, now it was onto the next one.

Just arrived in Goondiwindi on the drive from Cunnamulla to Brisbane. Walked around the tree a few too many times.
First cache for a very long time. Here in Goondiwindi for the weekend and decided to pick up this cache at the golf club/cricket club. Easy find, filled out the log and replaced. TFTC.

Nice little caching weekend Beaudesert to Nindigully on Friday night, exploring Thallon & St George on the Saturday, then Nindigully back to Beaudesert vis Surat, Meandarra & Dalby. Had a blast, found all but one cache, and cleaned up the map a lot. 6 down, out of 26, All caches were either stamped or signed with either RC13 or Rogersclan13 depending on space.
The region had some much needed rain over the week prior which meant there was a lot of mud and water around the place. This cache was no different. Being a golf course, and not fully knowing where the course was, I was more inclined to leave the car on the hard standing bitument and walk across, glad I did - mud everywhere!
Once I reached the GZ, took a few loops around before I eventually spotted it. So many possibilties and hiding spots so was glad to get this one in the hand. Quick stamp and replace before dodging mud back to the car.
Thanks for the cache **Gflunk**
