After so many DNF's we are confident of it not being there, and we were right.
Unless its ultra hidden there are not to many above ground locations this could be.
Would be good if the owner could check on it or disable it.

It rained from Christchurch all the way south. At this point the sun came out. For which I was extremely grateful.
I guess there had to be two gates on this Pass and two caches to match. Didn't take long for the Ferrett to suss this one out. Thanks Dakota kitten.
A quick park and grab with the junior dakotacat finding this one straight away. And the Lindis was OPEN. TFTC
The GPS made me look to far, but the hint helped. The bigger problem was getting it out. TFTC
It didn’t take too long to locate this cache, but it took us over 20 minutes to retrieve, as it was nearly a metre inside its hidey hole. We were about to give up when we remembered the plumbers drain snake in our car. With this we were able to push the cache out. Needless to say we put it back in such a way the next cachers should be able to retrieve it. TFTC
Together with my family on a vacation trip to New Zealand. Starting at Auckland airport on transfer to Christchurch we went for a roundtrip exploring the south island. This was one of many caches we found while visiting so many nice and interesting places thanks to all the caches why I want to send a thank you to all CO for the work spent. TFTC.
YEAH NUMBER 600

Found during 'The Gangsters' trip to New Zealand, being Big Matt, The Rats, steeba and myself.
Open again today and a quick find. Some feloow Aussie cachers pulled up as we were about to leave.
Thanks drawp for the cache.

Having done the twin of this cache we stopped to pick this one up on our way through. TFTC!

Found this cache as part of the Gangster's Aussie assault on the first NZ Mega with Big Matt, FarmerFrenzten and steeba.
Obviously if there is one of these on the other side of the pass then its only natural that theres one on this side.
While at GZ we bumped into some other cachers travelling through the mountains.
Thanks

No problems finding the cache but we had to use an item out of our caching bag to retrieve it. Returned it in an easier to retrieve position. TFTH
got this one after getting the other set of gates on the other side of the lindas. tftc.
Heading home to CHCH form Qtown. Marking our progress with the odd cache or two. Having found the counterpart we thought it rude not to garner this one. Quickly cornered, signed and returned. Thanks!
10.00am. Travelling the South Island with Aussie friends. Took a few minutes.
Thank you. David and Noeline.

An easy find. Road open. Found cache with Old Boots travelling home from Central Otago. TFTC
Cecily found the cache before i could start thinking where it could be. *tftc*, drawp
Nearly couldn't get this one as last time replaced too far in, found some fencing wire and quickly made hook (left on ground for next time needed).

Good quick stop for the cache. Yet another lovely warm weather geocaching day. SL TFTC
First dnf today. Cache may be gone as there is evidence that there was a fence taken down right at GZ. Next time...
Got some strange looks from motorists. Did they think we were going to shut the gate on them? TFTC
The road was open! I'm glad it was, as it would have been quite a diversion otherwise!
Cheers for the cache, drawp

Missed doing this a few months ago when we did the open or shut one - lol

Easier find than the other gate, but was distracted for a little bit before making the find. Cheers Gav [10110]
This one was Open, too! Just as well too, or we would have had a long round about journey. Another easy find. Thanks for the hunt drawp and greetings from Mandurah Western Australia.
#9 for the afternoon though twas the first find in darkness. Easier than daylight with less muggles? TFTC
Quick find on our way home. 21st find on a great weekend drive up to Tekapo for the round Tekapo Bike race.

Found on my return through the Lindis Pass today. There was a farmer moving sheep just over the fence when I went past on the way North earlier in the day.
Open today. But have been here when they closed it behind me after a hairy crossing a couple of years ago
Found on our way South to Cromwell, yes the gates were open today so it was a very easy driveby cache. Found the cache quickly without any issues today, no problems at GZ as the traffic zoomed passed. Thanks for bringing us to this interesting spot, TFTC TNLNSL (2855)
Found this one on our 4 weeks holiday in the South Island.
A long way from home in the Coromandel

@1525 #5 on our drive north, heading on a big, for us, circuit. This was lot easier to find than #4.
Thanks,

This was one of those caches that must have existed but not published last time we went through - good to get the matching pair signed off. TNLN Thanks
