I would really like to replace this cache if the owner isn’t planning to. Please advise. It is an incredibly special place for my wife and I and I would really love to see it back in action. Photo from when we found the original cache ??
Hi toadmiester7,
Any news on this one?
It's been 4 months since Disabling and 1 month since you said it would be replaced - just politely checking on it's condition before I head down to Vincentia for some caching.

The Cache was removed with the demolition of the stairs. I will be replacing with a new hide by the end of April. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The information made perfect sense to me (for a change) and I looked and looked and looked some more... Now I can see it has been disabled. Well that's a relief! Wish I knew this on the day...
Found it! But it seemed like the cache got a little bit lost.. the coordinates were wrong and the Box were not in a good condition. The Log book got very wet and should be change! We puted the Box back where we thought it should supposed to be.
Thank you for the cache!
Thank you for the cache!
Stairs closed and fenced at both ends. Could just see where the hint suggested but no way to get there. Beautiful beach though.
Beauty of a spot! Thank you took a little searching but the clues were spot on! As soon as we saw the old the penny surely dropped
Absolutely awesome hide and out first trackable!!! Awesome clue- “nailed it” with a bit of lateral thinking
#1416 After parking North of here we headed along the beach with geo-pup in tow (or was that Geo-pup towing us ) Fortunately for us this was the best way to approach GZ as the steps are officially out of service. Once near GZ the 2nd part of the hint made perfect sense. Spotted cache pretty quickly once we were correctly positioned. TNLNSL. TFTC toadmeister7 and Ace7. The log book is a tiny bit damp, but this late in the afternoon there was no chance of being able to dry it out. Love the red in the cliffs in this area, such a contrast to the sand.
Had to ignore the closed stairs.
Stunning view. Even saw a diamond python on the trail. What a bonus!

#3959 2nd for today
Well it's ANZAC Day, so what better way to celebrate than with some geocaching. I didn't have anything planned, so I gave it some thought & decided I'd like to see the coast, so I headed out to Huskisson area on Jervis Bay. It was an absolutely perfect summer's day, pity it's well into autumn. Lots of people swimming, but being school holidays, there were lots of muggles about.
Felt a bit odd hanging around a closed set of steps. Took a while to understand the second part of the clue until I spotted something. Didn't get the first part.
Thanks to the COs: toadmiester7

Luckily with all the rain there were no muggles, but we almost needed watercraft to get to GZ. Took the hint and had CIH in no time. Now back to the car. Anyone gotta boat? TFTC
On our way back on the White Sands Walk we stopped to get this one. The geowife was all over the clue and was looking in all the right places, and pointed me in the right direction. Sure enough we found it. TFTC
Wow great hiding spot. Took Geogranny for her second hunt. The hole family had a lot of fun with this one.

The hint was a bit strange for us but once at GZ we understood quickly ! Nice hide.
We drop a TB because the view is very nice (even if it was windy this day !)

Enjoyed the walk to this cache, and the hunt to locate it.
Muggles were out and so stealth required.

Here with a learner geocacher watching whale after whale breaching in the Bay. Tftc
Found just on dusk with a cover story prepared for any muggles. Will move on TB to another geocache this weekend. TFTC! Fantastic spot!
With my friend the environmental science student we jumped puddles and made our way down to this one. A beautiful evening to sit and watch the ocean. Tftc.
Found this cache while out caching with the geofamily and having a great day out in the beautiful Bay.
Nice hide. all good. Left TB.
Thanks toadmiester7 for the hide.

Love this place. It is amazing. I did take the trackable as i will be heading overseas soon. So hope to head it on it adventure
2nd cache on our home soil. So good to be back in Jervis Bay even if its only for a couple weeks. TFTC. Took nothing, left a TB to continue its journey
Had the entire beach to ourselves which geodog loved. I sent the geowife in to look for this one and within moments she had the cih. Great spot defo be coming back again. Tftc
Beautiful beach, enjoyed a lovely walk before dinner. Loved the hint. Collected TB for onward journey back to the UK. TFTC

Went on a morning walk along the white sands track. Came down the stairs to the beach right near this cache.
A little bit of a climb and we soon had CIH.
Clue make sense to me.

After driving my parents down to Jervis Bay for an Eco Cruise, of course I decided to fill in the time by doing some caching in the area while I waited. As I signed the quickly found log from GZ, I could sit a while in the shade and watch their boat go by.
Apologies to anyone looking for the container today. Found it in it's lovely location but logbook and other items were all very damp so have taken them home for the day to sunbathe for a few hours. Will return them this afternoon. Great spot for a cache and very cleverly hidden, although wish I was a little shorter. TFTC.
Container replaced after a bit of fresh air and sunshine it needs a new logbook and pen.
A nice walk with the family on a rainy day from Vincentia to Plantation Point along the new shared pathway. At the end of the pathway, a short walk along the bush track brought us to this great lookout with fantastic views of the bay. A quick search and I found the cache, signed log and replaced as found. Logbook is wet even though it is in a plastic bag and may need to be dried out by a future finder. TNLNSL TFTC.
Found by Muggle Millie on her first geocaching outing. Beautiful views and a great hide. T star L balloon TFTC.
I've been here before but never checked if there was a cache, cool hide, great spot to just chill & listen to the waves.
Lots of muggles around the bay today with the Husky Running Festival on, but we managed to get a break in the traffic and find this one.
Glorious winters day, water was crystal clear, pod of dolphins swimming by and a nice easy find. What more could you ask for?
TFTC Toadmiester7!!

It is a really hard find, we spent ages looking for it. Please put a hint in that directs you towards the location it is hidden in.
the log is quite damp, perhaps replace it or dry it out? i put it in a zip lock bag to stop it getting worse but that won't help it try out
cool spot and hidey hole. we had a fun little climb to get in there. the log was damp but i was able to sign it. we donated a zip lock bag to the cause, though I don't expect that the log will dry out in it. not sure how water would have got in there unless someone put it back there partially open. either that or those sistema containers don't stand up to a real deluge. thanks for bringing us to this spot. there was a bit of swell coming in, good day for surfing inside the bay. going to be interesting scuba diving tomorrow...
We're on the second day of our stay. The GeoSchnauzers and I are loaded for geocaches. Car, GPSr and sundry kit, ice water, and a sense of fun and adventure. It wasn't such a good day for GeoSchnauzers. Many of the caches were in the National Park, so we skipped them, and a couple were just on the fringes, so I went by myself. And I missed out on the earth cache, because it was too far into the NP. Never mind, we still had fun.
Thanks, toadmiester7. Nice one. I gave my broken ankle a good workout here, leaping from rock to rock. I find the ankle's fitness for purpose still has a little way to go, despite all the exercise I've put into it in the 11 months since it was broken. The log was wet. I suspect it will slowly dry out. I'm surprised it is able to get wet, but I guess sistemas aren't waterproof if they are upside down. Could future finders return the cache so that the lid is facing away from the back surface?
Lovely spot.
