Lucky Im a taller gal so this was a nice quick park and grab for me. Day 24 - TFTC
Back in the west for WAGB24, but first a few practice sessions with my caching buddy hollowfrog. This cache being a previous DNF, it must be rectified. We needed some extra height, so we commandeered a near by TOTT... a shopping trolley, not the usual kind of TOTT but when you are our kinda short you gotta use what's at hand Thanks dimor we had fun.
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 50 - Bunbury Day 2. The day started on the scooter seeking art locations, some for Labs some for Multis. I made at least one mistake in each multi, but they are sorted now and I will look for them later. I avenged one DNF from yesterday and then went on a car based suburban and industrial caching run till a late lunch. There are some parts of Bunbury that get very busy at times. I sort of fell into a caching run out to Turkey point. A few interesting aches and two trains, more than I have seen for the rest of my trip. With caching done, I headed back to the van for some afternoon catching up on logging. There seems to plenty of retail options around Bunbury. This was the third and largest centre I have been to so far. I saw a good spot, but it was out of my reach. Happily there was a nearby apparatus that solved that problem and I soon had the cache in hand and it was signed and replaced. This end of the centre was very quiet, the other, not so.Thanks for the cache dimor47719.9 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Crystal Compass Rose 2009 5th Ann Forest A#147**Albida**
I have memories, not overly fond memories, of looking for this cache before on a day of solo caching without TaurusSix. On that day the temperature was on the wrong side of 35, and all too close to 40 for my liking. I had searched high and low, preferring the low because it was in the shade. Not long after I was gratified to find out it was not my searching skills, but a muggled cache that was my demise that day.Today with TaurusSix I returned for another go. We noted the weather was markedly cooler. After parking about as close to GZ as it is likely possible, we jumped out and behind a search renewed. Today though the outcome was polar opposite - the cache was spotted in no time at all in the first place we looked. Sometimes the universe is just one our side.Being so close, we took the cache back to the car to sign the log in comfort. We had the cache back I place, and never a muggle sighted. It was time now to loom towards the next cache.Thrice today we looked for a cache of dimors, and now three times we have been thankful.
Took a while but I finally got it!! Had to take a few steps back down the path before I could even see it. At 5’7”/170cm I was almost too short but managed to bat it towards me with a shoe. I’m covered in spiderwebs now . Also saw a big fat spider and some really cool twig cocoons. Thanks for the sneaky cache and the nice new log! ️
Went and checked this one yesterday. Definitely missing.
Did have plans to replace but accidentally left replacement cache at the previous cache I replaced down Dardanup. Duh
Will try and replace this weekend

Searched low & high for this cache, couldn't lay our hands on it, hope to rectify that soon

As I said in my initial log today the thing I most wanted today was a short search. This cache appeared to not understand the concept and proved itself a difficult search.
With the sun bearing down I looked up then I looked higher. I spotted some hiding places that would have proven tricky, but they were empty.
I return down and looked around. I found another potential position, but searching all around and in failed to show up a cache.
I returned to the car to read a few logs and I returned for another look, trying to see places where I had not searched before. I widened the search quite a bit, but nothing helped.
I had to walk away with a DNF, and the prospect and a longer outing.

In Bunbury and Collie for WAGB2022! A massive weekend of caching and catching up with friends. A big thank you to all the COs that have placed caches for this weekend, as well as COs maintained by existing listings. You have made this weekend what it is! Apologies for the generic logs. Cheers dimor!
This has an observed comment written in log and a comment written on outside rape. Maybe need a new hide spot
I found a log book without a container, not sure if I’ve found a misplaced cache or??
Apologies for the late log. I only recently (re)discovered this list of caches which I had picked up on my drive back from a very enjoyable long weekend in Margs. Being quite late on a Sunday by the time I reached Bunbury the retail stores and traders were all closed which made for the perfect time to grab a few caches here. This was one that I stopped off at. Car park was empty so pulled in right by GZ and hopped out to make a nice quick find All ok here today - TFTC
Down in Bunbury on a bit of a get away with Driving Mrs D on a work trip. He needed a bit more sustenance so we ventured here to find this cache while the area was in darkness and deserted.

The Better Half and I came down to Bunbury for a 70th birthday party near Koombana and arrived quite early so decided to do a bit of caching before heading to the party.

Thanks baffle for placing and new CO dimor. Found after grabbing lunch from the shops on the way through. Disturbed a spider or two but easy park n grab.
The jinta mob has been a bit lacking in cache finds lately so Mrs jinta decided that a weekend away was in order to try and grab a few caches while exploring this area! We camped in Bunbury and headed away nice and early to grab a few caches around town and had an absolute blast collecting caches this weekend. Fave points will be awarded when deserved, thanks for putting this cache out. Cheers and TFTC.

Suscoe was out on our last day of caching in and around the Bunbury area.
Another mild day with some threatening cloud in the morning clearing to a sunny afternoon.
We did some caching and some tourist drive things on a great day out.
Got as far as Donnybrook and admired the apples and pears, now we know where the apples that we buy at home come from.
Then back via the King tree and a few roads inbetween.
Thanks to baffle, a quick find for us, glad of that as we always feel a little obvious at places like this.

pug002 found it 26/10/2017 on our trip to Bunbury for our square dance festival. Woke up and thought wow we won't be doing much geocaching today, rainy and windy. Well the sun came out and off we went to try and do as many as we could. TFTC baffle

Hi there baffle - We found Retail #3 today - our find # 3586. SWMBO and I are on a short holiday of a few weeks duration but today we were heading towards Bunbury. The cache was found quickly and the container and log are both in good condition. SL. Thanks to baffle for the cache.
Visible but couldn't quite reach the blighter! With an unknown bug floating in the area too decided to leave this for today
In Bunbury for uwh nationals. Our first find in WA and first for the new year. Luckily we had the svelt grot even and hubby with me, so it wasn't so inaccessible for us as seems it has been for many. Without their combination, it would have been a different matter I must admit. Tftc.
Arrived at GZ and became aware of a man, sitting in his car, taking a bit of an interest in our activity. Pleased to meet you ErAnSaTe maybe we will bump into you again one day.
I was finally able to spot this one. Spotted it from the road. I just couldn't see it when alot closer to it. By using a trolley I was able to reach it. Sneaky camo
After someone previously finding this. I thought I would give this one another shot. But if it's, there I'm definitely to short to even see it. I guess I will have to strike this one of my list to find
Heading down to WAGB event in Busso. Stopped off for a Maccas Run nearby.

Had a quick look for this one. I was either too short to see it or it has gone
Down in Bunbury for a weekend away with the new van, headed out today to grab a few caches. The weather was perfect for a stroll so it ended being a mixture of drive bys and bush walks.
Grabbed after lunch today. Lucky enough to park 3 metres from GZ. The log is nearly full
baffle I found your cache Retail #3 on 1/11/2014 12:24 pm. This is my find #2155 and find #15 today. The cache and log are fine. Thanks for the cache!
