The recent flooding had obviously been to a higher level. Suspect this one is now out on the Pacific somewhere.
Found nice and easy on my way round to who knows where I will end up just following caches TFTC
Enjoying this South Island trip and had a great time touring the area and collecting caches taking us to some remote locations with tmann421.
Another good find here adding to the fun of our trip. TFTC

Found with Just-Lookin on a geocaching trip around some of the South Island.
Appreciate the effort geocache placers have put in to show us the area.
Quickly found here.
SL Thanks for the fun!

Got it! Last time I did not even get close to the cache, as I approached from the non-fenced off side and did not go beyond the fence in the water. Today, I put my gumboots on, and went right in. It would have been easier to climb the fence at the top than to wade through the water and squeeze past the fence in the water... TFTC!!
It was time to show the new cacher different types of places in the Waimate District where cachers could be hidden.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Not sure what happened here, but I could not find the cache. I climbed under from all angles except jumping right into the water, but in vain

Day 4 of our 5 Day end of year geocaching trip. Mum was quickly onto the find. The book was wet and mouldy(photo). We removed it and added a logstrip to the cache good for 50lines. Sorry for the late log and Thanks for the cache [purple]Our cache find: #3335[/purple] | [green]Cache of the Day: 32/37[/green] | [blue]Cache of our trip: 174/235[/blue]
found cache floating in the creek, retrieved it, cache needs attention, put some dry log paper in TFTC
On a trip to Moeraki and back from Christchurch, other than a few cars racing by I had the GZ to myself no one to notice what 1eyednbf (1 eyed and proud of it) was up to. Quick easy find nice hide TFTC.
I was pleased to find this cache and breath some life into it. Certainly a challenge to access.
Second time lucky for us, not sure why we couldn't find it last time. Fluffyduck38 found it this time around, we're not that keen on all those cobwebs. Ewww. TFTC
Third time lucky and got it this time. Often lots of traffic around here and we had to wait twice for cars going past.
Spent quite a while searching, but no luck today. Nice quiet spot for lunch though!
After putting both ourselves in various perilous situations, we eventually found this cache, not helped by the fact that the hint had us at the wrong end of the bridge. TFTC
Well, you got me!
I spent quite a long time there today with no luck at all. Thought I tried everything, however maybe I missed the obvious.

Not there I think. Hint quite specific

If it is here it is too well hidden for me to find it, but i suspect it has been swept away
Had a good look for this one but with no luck ,,the water had been very high but has now subsided so not sure wheather the cache is still in its place or not. Cheers Bo
There are 2 ways to get to this one. Tar seal or 4WD. Guess which one Heafudd M decided to take. I opened my eyes when we got through the stream. Interesting spot though. TFTC

Not too hard to find, I wonder if the Bitumen sprayer dude had to shout smoko for his mistake???

These contraptions are obviously too hard for us as two out of three tonight we did not find. Found clue but still no cache.
3774. Luckily we found this one after missing one at a similar contraption.
Thanks

A short swing around the place and then the cache. Managed to balance while signing the log, a wet foot or two would not make for a happy cacher! TNLN Thanks.
a wee detour, and grab. cache may not be exactly where orignally placed (it's fine), returned as found.thnx b&w
Last cache for the night, and took a little searching. May have disturbed a nearby swallow that was trying to get a peaceful nights sleep. Cheers Gav [7141]
A local farmer especially turned his vehicle round to ask what I was doing. Thought I might be looking for frogs. I tried to sound interested in the history of the bridge then he thought I was writing a story on its history. Finally he went and I could get on with why I was really there. TFTC #1804
Last one of a couple of days (139 caches I think) cruising around South Canterbury. Thanks Ernie and friends (Bitsprayer and Drawp especially) for a great couple of days.
It’s nice to explore the country roads instead of just driving on the state highway. Takes longer to get to our destination, but we get to check out a few caches, nice views and some pretty interesting spots. Nice driveby. Thanks erninz for the cache.
Took a trip from Canada to New Zealand to visit my brother and nephew over Christmas. Did some caching and was taken to some pretty amazing places. Thanks for the cache!
Nice quick find. Have released "Kiwi" into the wild here, she was getting all moody being caged up. This TB has flown (despite being named the flightless bird "Kiwi" it is a parrot) all the way from Florida and wants to meet her cuzzies, the Kea, Kaka. Kakariki and hopefully the kakapo - so hopefully someone can move her on in such a direction. Poor bird needed to land and I am not heading up Arthur's Pass way for a while..
Found on my way back to the West Coast, seen to remember that day, Glad I were not operating the Bitumen Sprayer That Day.

In Oamaru for the night and saw this one published just out of town, so thought yeah, quick drive out to find it and then back to bed. Quick FTF. TFTC!!!
