Found today with Kazz444. A beautiful walk here - very picturesque. Cache in excellent condition. Thanks for bringing us here.
Found today with Goldberry17. What a beautiful walk to find the cache which was found just off the track. A favourite from me.
Find#2111This cache has been on a few of my lists with this DT. Today was the day when I woke up early and needed to get my steps up, even in the rain. My feet are muddy and wet now thoughCache and log in good condition TFTC
I was up in the Watagans today, sussing out a possible new cache placement (National Parks permitting), and decided to take a short detour to this one on the way home. I had another incentive too, as this now gives me 9 1/2.5 finds so I'm a step closer to qualifying for a certain challenge cache.A quick find, well perhaps a bit too quick as the cache was very exposed, so after checking with the CO's dad I moved it around behind the tree so it's now out of sight of any stray muggles. I loved the multi-layered container that should keep the logbook in pristine condition for many years to come.An interesting bit of history along here, many thanks to TheOrmos for the original placement and to Team737 for keeping it going.
On my way home from Lake Macquarie and picking up some caches along the way.TFTC Wilbert67
Whoa, haven't seen one of these containers in the wild for a while. A bit of a bush bash but found the cache with no issues and in pristine condition as it seems it was replaced recently. I enjoyed the walk which included meeting some fence jumping goats and cows. FP from me. TFTC!
Found today while caching in the area, we’ve ignored this one for a long time and only just got around to finding it. Nice walk through this little reserve…

Heading to Gosford for a day of caching, we made the diversion through Cooranbong for some older caches that had been on the map for too long. I think we once checked out parking for this, clearly didn't read it properly years ago, so didn't attempt. Today we parked in Avondale Rd, and walked in.
It is a nice area, and we enjoyed the shady walk. We eventually found a faint geotrail near GZ and went in. Unfortunately the cache is in disrepair, and has been for years. At present it is just a smashed bucket. It needs to be replaced..... Thanks for hiding it.

Lovely cool walk to find this one. Careful of spideys. Contents of the container are saturated. Needs maintenance. Thanks for bringing us here.
Found it quite easily once we realised we had to go off so far from the track. Container lid broken and container full of water. Emptied it out but no hope of signing log. TFTC
This one was a lot harder to find than it should of been.. Spent 10 mins walking in the wrong direction. Got to GZ and the signal wasn't great. There are a lot of trees Found the cache after a thorough search. Container is water damaged & mouldy. Needs maintenance. TFTC
Found it.Log is saturated and un signable. Lid is cracked. See photo for log. TFTC.
A quick find after a nice walk. i found the boys walk one with Tombi many years ago on one of our night caching runs. The cache is full of water i couldn't sign the log but it needs some TLC. i didn't have anything with me to fix it up. TFTC
catching up on some VERY backlogged logging while in isolation. found with banj5150 (banj ward), log has been dated back to when it was found. tftc
Found while doing a circiut around the west side of the lake. From the boys walk to here, half way I cameacross a construction fence but easaly bypassed, on the way back the wind had taken it away. TFTC TheOrmos

Found it with a million mozzies and new to caching team Chapslick! Ferrets lost about 2 pints of blood but other than that we had fun. Beautiful walk
Was very confused not to see any activity on this cache during a Mega event.
Got so curious that I had to find it for myself. I did find it and I'm still confused as to why it wasn't found by others.
Beautiful walk it was too
Log was a little wet by still managed to get my name in
Thanks TheOrmos

Since it was such a nice morning decided to walk here from the swinging bridge and do the entire loop around Avondale. This was the next stop after the Boys walk and 'What are the odds?'. A quick find was made before the walk back along Sandy Creek. TFTC.
Another day out and about in the area finding geocaches.
I followed the instructions in the description and I was easily let in to go for a walk.
I did the whole loop and it is a great little walk.
Cache found easily. [^]
Thanks for the cache.

After many a time of having this one on a cache list today we decided was the day we were definately going for a walk. We did the complete 2.2km walk, with Mrs C talking to the sheep, horses and cows along the way. We saw a few feild rats along the trail too. Mr C made the find a little out in the open but still far enough away from muggle eyes. Really enjoyed the walk a fav point for that

Enjoyed this walk- it's well kept and so quiet that you can really take in all the sounds of nature. I came face to face with about 5 feet of nature on the way out to GZ so by the time I had to leave the path I was more than a bit nervous. Cache quickly found as it is a good size. It had an inch or so of water in it so I tipped it out. Log still ok thanks to a new bag around it. TNLN TFTC
Found it with the help of 2 grandsons who are just learning. Bit wet but log is dry.
Found with Deheaps Great morning walk. Many thanks. Cache very wet. Log replaced in new bag. SL. TFTC
Beaut morning for a stroll. Lovely maintained track. Cache very wet. Found with megron62and pooches. Swap left. Tftc
I used to do this walk when I was at school, so it was rather nostaglic being back there. Lovely little loop walk. Unfortunately the cache was complete water logged. I poured all the water out of the bottom but both the original and the replacement log were saturated. Sorry, I didn't have anything to replace it again with but I did managed to sign it.
Thanks!
Thanks!
A little confusing as the GPS on my phone kept dropping out under the trees. .... added a gift for the girls
Took some friends to find their first geocache! The mozzies were out ferociously but we were prepared thanks to previous tips. The cache is quite waterlogged and needs urgent maintenance. We were unable to leave a log entry. Thanks for the cache. We enjoyed the walk.
7060 Out today with the Mighty Minons. She was after caches which were medium hikes and this was a pleasent walk along the creek. Got to gz and I spotted the cache straight away. I then spotted a leech on my shin. TFTC
needing to find some caches with the medium hike attribute for another cache.Mr Roo helped put a list together for me and then joined me for a day caching,we had a pleasant walk along the track and found geo zone easily. The log is really wet to the point of being slimey ,luckily Mr Roo had a spare peice of paper with him we could sign. Thanks for the cache TheOrmos tnln sl
We are visiting from Canada and have done this walk before with family. Today the children were riding their bikes around the loop and so we came for the cache! We had granddaughter L. with us and she walked most of the way. Since she is just 1.5 years we were pleased with her endurance! This is a pleasant walk although we are not too keen to go off the path into gum leaves and bark especially when the posted sign says 'Snake Season'! J. had a big stick and fortunately it was not needed - no snakes were seen today! SL TFTC TheOrmos - there was water in the container and the log was damp. We retrieved the TB. Thanks for getting us back on this trail - it was enjoyable even with a bit of rain!
This was a really nice walk in an area not many (non college) people would have been, a favourite point. I read the description and tried to get here around four so I would not get locked in, but of cause I arrived at five, but the gate just went up and I did not need to talk to anyone (on the intercom or otherwise) and just drove straight in (it was a Monday). There were heaps of cars still in some areas, so I guessed (hoped) I would not be locked in. I parked closer to the trailhead and started my walk. There are handy maps showing you where you are going and I chose to go towards the recommended parking (the slightly longer way) so I could come straight back to where I parked (the slightly shorter way), I loved that it was a loop and I did not have to walk the same path twice. The areas varied and the changing scenery was really nice. I walked past one bike and a girl walking in the opposite direction and I wondered if I was going the wrong way around. At GZ I spotted the cache straight away as the camouflage had mostly fallen off and it is quite a large container, but it was far enough from the main track that it should not really be a problem. Unfortunately the inside was very wet, with a couple millimetre water in the bottom. The container seems to be in one piece with no cracks I could see, so maybe it is just the type of container and cannot really be fixed. I dried it out as best I could and squished most of the water out of the log before sighing it. I left the travel bug as I thought it would encourage someone else to do this great walk. I tried to re-cover the cache as best I could and it was definitely better covered then before. On the way out I thought I would take a shortcut across a “bridge” made from an old tree, sticks and a big tyre (how could I resist possibly falling in the cold dirty water)! This lead me to another path that looked like it was taking me straight to the car, unfortunately there was a large (same) river there and I had to go back after a bit more exploring (and it was very close to dark and I did not bring my torch). By the time I got back in the car it was just after six as I headed out the two gates I went through just opened and let me out. I’m not sure if the rules have changed much since the cache has been published, but the college seems a bit more lenient then in your description, but probably best not to test it too much...
Thanks for the great walk around in this really nice area and the decent sized cache too!

Was fun walk - saw snake - found a trackable and will try to move it to find an overseas friend
I had nothing to do at college this afternoon, and i needed to get active so I decided to go for a short run to find this cache. Thanks!
Same as the boys walk, this is a really pleasant walk. Will return just for the experience of a Sunday walk/ride. Nice hide too.
Enjoyed the walk. Well maintained walk too. Not sure about the hint as a bit off the beaten track - it is a bit and a bit more off the beaten track. Did enjoy the challenge of finding though!. [:x]
The track was extremely waterlogged after the recent downpours, leaving us with no other choice but to take our shoes off (except for me since I was already barefoot due to leaving my shoes behind) and walking through ankle+ deep water. This was a very pleasant walk which everyone enjoyed even though the skies were threatening to rain and did start to sprinkle at one stage.
Approaching GZ we all walked straight passed it at first but after checking the clue and a little bit of a further search it was found.

Have run this track before competing in the HRIS cross-country competition. Nice walk today but with lots of water on the track. TFTC
Another found in the dark with Cookie. All this 'chaperoning' he is talking about is new to me!
Cache dry. A few mozzies around tho.

GAFF1, 2121, While I had been a student at this institution in '77 and '92, I had only ever been on the 'boys walk', until tonight. Am sure my parents had been tho - MANY times, as they used to be chaperoned in those days! I don't know if any of the 'young ones' even know what that is anymore
I thought I had Crossroads by the River on the GPSr (but I was using a borrowed one) and I would have liked to see if I could have got there from this side of the creeks.
A very pleasant stroll, only having to use the headlight ~20% of the time while walking on the track. Glad I didn't come across anyone tho', they would have had a surprise.
A short search at GZ found the cache that is losing a bit of it's camo. There was only a slip of paper for a log sheet, so I left an emergency log 'book', double bagged, as there was a small amount of water in the bucket. Also, a silica gel sachet and pen, and a Correct Site Marker - surgical marking pen.
Through: 3Bros, AustLighthouses, IconicBridges Travel Unicorn, Baa, Neigh, and Oink geocoins, B2B ingot, and trackable shirt.

(Oh yes, this would fit the 'Night caching' criteria, with sunrise 0536, and sunset 1946; just have to finish my MGSc - GC2J6AY, first tho.) will need to find 75 caches in December, then I'll be able to finish that level of education

Hurray... Found my first official geocache ?? it's not quite where it should be...
Lovely walk today, thanks guys. Cache is a bit water logged and only a sheet of paper left for a log book.
Cache was wet inside when I visited yesterday. I tipped the bit of water that was in the bottom of the container out.
A stinking Hot and Bluster day for caching, I think summer is coming. No mozzies for me today, but I did nearly stand on a 1' snake AGAIN, second time this week. It was sunning itself on the main trail amongst leaf litter. Cache needs a new log and baggy. Some incredible vines, and huge trees on this trail. One of the trunks would fill most living rooms!
