Excellent cache Thank u

We needed to go to Mount Tamborine today to collect a junior from camp so we decided to take the opportunity to cache our way there. After finding our target cache, we stopped to collect anything else we passed along the way. We were greeted by an army of bin chickens as we pulled up at the curb but they left us in peace once they discovered we did not come bearing food for them. We walked down the pathway to a variety of bird calls looking out at the peaceful view. At GZ, the caching gods were smiling as we located the well hidden cache in the first place we checked. Nicely constructed. Thanks Aussie Liahona

Out today with hatzofff, RoddyC and poolpool. It's much cooler today adding to our enjoyment of the day. Thanks to COs for putting out caches for us to find. Rolled in for a pretty quick find. Very clever hide, leaving it a favourite point.TFTC

18-Nov-23
Out to do some caching today seeing it is much cooler weather. Around south of Nerang. With hatzofff, echocage1, and our interstate friends, poolpoool. Hmmm. There! All good.Log signed and cache replaced as found at 4:42 PM on November 18, 2023. TFTC, Aussie Liahona adopted from creators Nottinghamers

Down the coast for a spot of fishing Tilapia and Carp for a fishing comp with my daughter.Tried the ponds nearby but no luck. While in the area, went in search of this cache but GPS was bouncing so much, I couldn't get a proper fix on GZ.Couldn't locate this one (maybe tired from too much sun) so will have to come back another time.

16-Aug-23
Was in the area and saw this one was replaced, last time I came was a while ago and was missing, glad to see this is back in action ♡ signed and logged!

14-Aug-23
No luck for me today

23-Jul-23
Found it while out for a stroll with geopet. My first find on 23rd July in 13 years of caching! Up to a streak of 10 now! Tftc

20-May-23
Found this one easily, another great cache.

20-May-23
Found it

25-Apr-23
Should have logged a DNF here a couple of days ago, so when I was coming here for a run and saw the updated co-ords I pounced.

Found it and was annoyed because I had actually looked at this last time but didn't inspect closely enough.

Lid of container seemed to be glued on and I had to improvise a TOTT with a keyring. Got it opened after a bit of a struggle, but the keyring didn't survive the experience.

Sneaky hide and my 1000th find.

Thanks for the cache

Out with the crew for the first Tim win a long time and again took a little while to locate the correct GZ but with a little help from our friends we were able to sign this cache as found.
Signed as Munna Culla Snack Ninjas.TFTC

The planets must be in some sort of celestial alignment… for what feels like the first time in months all the Munna Culla Snack Ninjas are out together…

After almost two and a half years, I’ve returned to avenge my DNF… and I brought reinforcements… This is our last stop of the day and times getting away from us so after about 20 minutes of fruitless searching a message was fired off to the CO…

Armed with some additional information, PirateLinda uncovered the caches location… Confirmed with the CO that the cache was indeed missing, and we were given kind permission to log…

Logs either stamped Munna Culla Snack Ninjas or signed MCSN to save space…

Coordinates changed from:
S 28° 0.942 E 153° 20.013

Coordinates changed to:
S 28° 0.935 E 153° 20.014

Distance from original: 43.1 feet or 13.1 meters.

With the years as they have passed by the cache is now in a slightly different spot and a different type of hiding, so adjustments needed to be made to the co-ords.
Cheers and happy caching!

Out for the day with the usual crew. Haven’t managed a day in quite awhile. Nice drive down the coast to Nerang. Found where the cache should be after a lot of searching. Thanks for the cache

21-Apr-23
Out for the day with the crew of MCSN Munna Culla Snack Ninjas.
Looked everywhere for this one for quite some time to no avail. Read lots of logs, sent off a few PAF's and gradually widened our search area. Finally came upon a suspicious object which on contacting the CO proved to indeed to be the cache hide (minus the log).
Aussie Liahona granted us a find for this one

01-Feb-23
A great spot here! But no luck finding the cache this afternoon. Another time!

Mrs Woodyrothwell and I had spent a night away down the coast and were meeting some of her school friends for lunch. We filled in the time by of course finding some caches. This one caught our attention because of the amount of favourite points.

Even though we had correctly guessed what the hide type was, it still didn’t make it any easier to find. In fact I think we turned over every rock we could see. In the end my wife suggested that I immediately message the CO for a hint knowing full well that as soon as I hit the “Send” button we would find it. And that is exactly what happened. tftc

17-Sep-21
Awesome find one of my favs

24-Aug-21
Would not have found this with out CO help. With tree cover my phone had me 8mts +/- 10mts away and it was. Even once I knew what I wanted I still missed it first quick look. You need to move look carefully and replace all as you may not see it.

22-Nov-20
Got it quick TFTC

22-Nov-20
Nice quick find here thanks.

22-Nov-20
That was super cheeky! Thank you and a fav from me!

19-Nov-20
I have checked this one and all is in good order. Happy caching!

18-Nov-20
Adding my name to the list of DNFs here... I kept in mind that it’s been over 18 months since this was last found, and who the CO is, but I still couldn’t come up with a cache... I’ve contacted a previous finder... let’s see how that pans out...

08-Sep-20
Unfortunately the GPS wouldn't completely settle but I still hunted high and low without any luck. Maybe next time.

06-Sep-20
Driving past and had another look for this one to no avail. The bloke in the adjacent house is always in the backyard. Today he was having a Father's Day barbie with some mates.

09-Aug-20
First log for this cache in almost a year and sadly it is a DNF ....my guess is a lot more DNF occurred on this cache over this period

22-Sep-19
Having noticed several DNF I have checked and found the cache to be in place and in good order. Happy caching!

21-Sep-19
Out for a quick spin on Evie. No luck with this one. Knowing this CO I probably looked at the cache, but then again I probably did not spend enough time hunting.

27-Jun-19
Sadly our phones has us bouncing around so like looking for a needle in a haystack...then rain made us run back to the car...sadly no luck.

13-Jun-19
So it turns out the 6 year old niece is scared of kangaroos so we didn't have the best look.

02-Jun-19
Early drive out on a Sunday morning to get a few of the unclaimed caches in the area. Had looked for this previously without success. We noticed that the hint was different which was confirmed by the CO. Still didn't help. Not a good finish of the day with only one of four Nottinghamers' caches in the bag! We think we were suffering some mental blanks as well as cache blindness.

08-Apr-19
ARRGGHHH - with the GPS having us in many spots and searching around the area in general Bunadoorian and I tried. We really did try and then when my phone battery gave up - it was time to move on. TFTC Nottinghamers

08-Apr-19
Grub62 and I had a good hard try at this cache with no luck. So with phone needing charging we departed. TFTC.

01-Apr-19
At last! Thanks for the PAF. It’s certainly there, waiting and not going anywhere soon. Wonderful. Thanks so much.

31-Mar-19
Damn. No much luck after 30 minutes. Got smashed by mozzies!

31-Mar-19
I have checked and the cache is still in place!! Happy caching!

23-Mar-19
Lots of heavy rain and trees cut down in the area made it hard to look

24-Feb-19
Dis not did trees have been removed

12-Feb-19
Three strikes and I’m out...

29-Jan-19
Stumped again... even with your help. I’ll come back when I have more time.

23-Dec-18
Nice area, the birds were definitely a variety. Unfortunately we could not find this cache. Not sure if it has been dislodged from its hiding place. Hunting amongst ants is zero fun when they sting. Looked for a better place to hide a cache away from the ants but did not spot anything.

16-Dec-18
Third attempt at this one...FINALLY! Decided to come attempt this one with reezielou on a rainy Sunday....I mean, 4 eyes are better than two! TFTC Nottinghamers!

16-Dec-18
Why sit at home on a rainy Sunday where there are caches to get. Team effort krcamber had the idea and I made the find.
Loved it TFTC

06-Dec-18
After my second attempt i found it pretty quickly . Last time im pretty sure i looked in this spot but got distracted by all the ants . Fav point from me . Great hide and effort for this cache.

17-Nov-18
TFTC. Great hide Nottinghamers. It took me many attempts. This should get my newbie eyes in the game. Now let's see if I can find your other ones

28-Sep-18
Zero luck for me today here .

04-Aug-18
No go again today but ran into Soldier Boys while foraging around in the leaves. Couldn't stick around as meant to be buying parts to fix a pool pump but got a little side tracked trying to find this cache, whoops. Great to see you found it after I left, gives me confidence we'll crack it on round 3.

04-Aug-18
Well today was the day! This one has been on our radar since we missed it back in April & we've been waiting for an opportunity to come back & turn our frown upside down. On arrival our OC headed towards gz when a friendly fellow cacher popped out from behind a tree, surprising him. Nice to meet you Prouties, we always enjoy meeting other players out and about. Shame you left when you did because we had cih shortly after! The hide was exactly what we were looking for on our last visit, I think we'll blame all the orbs and obstacle course webs that hampered our efforts...(it couldn't have been because we overlooked this well camo'd hide ). We easily spent over an hour here last time, today we were done in under 15 minutes! Thanks for your message of encouragement back in April, glad to have conquered this one, and thanks for your effort placing & maintaining your brilliant hides. FP added for cache construction. Tftc Nottinghamers xo

22-Jul-18
Beat me this time. I'll be back

01-May-18
Have checked and it's still there. Happy caching!

28-Apr-18
No luck

12-Apr-18
Big fans of challenging finds & clever camo we were excited to see what we'd find here! But oh no...we must've used up all our caching luck today & came up empty! After a lengthy search, the geokids realised that we'd ditched the idea of wet and wild in favour of fun & inventive caching ... tears ensued & we got an attack of geo guilt . Off to wet & Wild it is & this one will have to be avenged some other time. It's caches like this that make us wish we didn't live a couple of hours away (but still close enough to have another crack one day) Tfth Nottinghamers xo

11-Feb-18
So this is my first time ever geocaching, but wasn’t able to find it.

06-Feb-18
Found this one awhile ago just re-logging

29-Jan-18
Unsuccessful in this spot too. You’re just too good at hiding these

30-Sep-17
Hunted around GZ for a solid 15-20 mins after my GPS finally settled and unfortunately couldn't find it. However, I did find a brown snake so be careful when checking this one out.

30-Sep-17
Thanks to nottinghamers for the tip. Second round lucky. TFTC

20-Sep-17
I couldn't find it, where is it. Any clues? I usually don't ask but this is to hard. Good find

20-Sep-17
Good hide I meant

06-Mar-17
This was my second visit here as last time my GPS would not settle in any particular spot although today it wasn't much different either. Knowing that the CO had replaced the cache I knew it had to be here and as I couldn't understand what the clue meant I meticulously searched all possible hiding spots. After about 15 minutes, I finally found the very clever hide that I hadn't looked thoroughly at the first time I had looked in that spot. Once again Nottinghamers doesn't disappoint and I must say I get so much enjoyment from finding these caches and this is certainly deserving of a favorite point from me SmileSmile

26-Feb-17
Have now replaced container and a new log sheet. Happy caching!

25-Feb-17
On a routine check I have found the cache completely gone so will attempt to replace asap.

Great hide in a beautiful spot! TFTC

27-Feb-16
didn't take us long on the second try thanks!

21-Feb-16
You beat us this time. We'll be back again without the kids complaining we've been looking for too long.

03-Feb-16
we searched and we searched and we searched some more, then eventually one saw what was needed, so log was signed and we could be on our way. Nice little spot. TFTC

03-Feb-16
This was my second visit and it took three of us quite a while to find this well hidden blighter! Great work NHs.

29-Sep-15
So glad I stumbled upon this one. I have no idea what I'm looking for when it's Nottinghamers cache!

Smile #2639

A few hours to spare so we decided to chase up a few smilies around the Nerang area.

'Twixt all the buttresses

Ah! Betwixt & between
but still quickly seen!
LOL ...

Love your work! Smile
Signed & replaced as found.

No wonder this cache has so many favorite points, what a terrific hide. Beautiful park, will have to re-visit another day when we have more time. Cache in hand, neither too hard nor too easy... log signed & carefully re-hid. Thanks for another awesome creative cache Nottinghammers!

08-Aug-15
Took 2 goes but found it

30-Jul-15
Took me 5 minutes and I found it

15-May-15
I suppose I should be happy that this cache has survived in its present form for over 4 years. However given the actions by someone of late I have decided to change the style and hopefully thwart a recurrence of the last few days. I have adjusted the description to reflect the changes and have left the difficulty rating as it was. Should you feel that the rating should change please mention it in your log. Happy caching!

14-May-15
Cache has been stollen only log book remains pages torn out very sad

14-May-15
Log book wrapped up back in plastic bag Sad

14-May-15
Thanks to Blackwidow for the note. It seems yet another one badly muggled, which is a pity as it seems unlikely that I will be able to use this exact location again. I will try to replace nearby ASAP. Meanwhile.....Happy caching!

01-May-15
Brens keen eye found this one
None of the photos are really relevant to finding the cache but they are of the area
Loz's fave cache so far thank you!!! Our co-ords were a bit out but I'm glad we hung in there

16-Apr-15
Find No: 4444. Visiting from Newcastle, staying with my brother in Nerang after the Mega at Stanthorpe, second attempt successful and a favorite, TFTC Nottinghamers!!

11-Apr-15
I have repaired the retrieval mechanism. Happy caching!

08-Apr-15
Up from Canberra and found with Rapidlywild on a two week geomission around the Gold Coast and, of course, for the MEGA Big GrinCoolBig GrinCool

The Mega had come to a close and the fun had finished so we were back on the Gold Coast. Our energy was low so we decided we'd have a cruisy day of caching around the area.

After a few moments of searching, we viewed things from a different perspective to come up with the find. Although the retrieval mechanism is no longer working-the live tree has grown around it. An alternative solution may have to be thought out for this one as it contravenes the guidelines.

Thanks for the hide, Nottinghamers Smile

08-Apr-15
Back on the Gold Coast today to continue caching. The holiday is starting to wind down in preperation for the long drive back to Canberra.

Today we found alot of caches from Nottinghamers who I must admit have some very creative hides Big Grin We had a wonderful day out and about collecting caches and placing our stamp in the log books.

Thanks Nottinghamers for placing this cache for us to make a find on Big GrinSmile

05-Feb-15
This was my first geocache find! I hope the first of many.

I discovered the limitations of my aging Android phone for geocaching and the mozzies nearly drove me away but I "hung" in there. Mine was the first entry in the recently replaced logbook. It is a good hide in a very suburban setting. Thanks Nottinghamers! I hope I can do as well one day.

31-Dec-14
No luck with this one today.

29-Dec-14
Found at 1.33pm another quick find today must be the perfect day for me to find these cheaky caches. Log book is wet and mouldy tried not to breath as I QUICKLY wrote my name on book. Anti bacterial cleaning stuff in car for my hands thank god. TFTC another point for you! Only had thongs but oh well.

29-Dec-14
Thanks to Dchanel for the note.
I have cleaned container and replaced log. Fingers crossed it withstands the weather for a wee while longer. Happy caching!
