On our way to have lunch by the Murray after doing the 'Straya' series. It was a treat to find a big container but if you park where we did it's more of a short hike than a driveby cache. Oh well, what's a bit more walking.... TFTC CPwanderer.
I'm out and about with Wollaston today primarily to sign the 'Straya' Challenge caches but once we'd finished there, we headed over to the Lowan Conservation Park to get us a few more smileys. Thanks for find #5518TNLN
After a week of caching around Adelaide incorporating The Great Leap Forward event, HansandLinda, MeandDe and I moved camp to Bowhill to capture some targeted caches. MeandDe & I tackled this one today. Another great day for caching. TFTC CPwanderer
The Leap Day Mega was a great excuse to come down from Queensland and weve had a busy time exploring Adelaide and surrounds cache by cache. Meeting up with friends old and new, we sometimes cached with them and sometimes alone but always had a great time. Although I have been to Adelaide before, this trip has shown me so many new and interesting places as Ive chased LGAs, oldies, challenges, interesting D/T combinations, rarer cache types and favourites. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining these caches for everyone to enjoy.
Found in our group of seven Queenslanders unsupervised in Radelaide mega'ing. Stacey's mom has not got it going on so Stacey has to step up to the plate again. All logs signed or stamped as SQUIRM. Thanks for the cache CPwanderer
Another day in Adelaide and SQUIRM are on the road again this time with a hitchhiker from QueenslandAn early start saw us soon stopping to wait for the little man from the village who got Staceys Mum back on the road again after her second flat tyre in two days Weve been too hard on Staceys MumFirst stop was Mannum to attend The Best Breakfast Event in the world ever then more targeted caching challenges, D/Ts, high faves and anything else we stepped over along the way there might even have been a new LGA in thereThanks CPwanderer
Its day 6 and Team SQUIRM are heading east, weve picked up a QLD hitchhiker to make a team of seven for the day. After an event in Mannum we are touring around the area seeing the sights.Tftc CPwandererFind #5650
Found it! Slightly more hidden than the others in this series, but still a fairly quick find at GZ. TFTC!
Continuing my South Australian Adventure. After finding a nearby cache, I headed to this one. A quick find was made and the log signed. I returned everything as found, then continued on my way. TFTC
Great location. Took the TBSolo caching in the Murray Bridge and Tailem Bend-Karoonda and Swan Reach area for a few days.Been in SA for about a month now, seeing new sights and finding plenty of caches too. CPwanderer, I found Lowan TWO today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.* * * * * * *SAs Leap Year Event - GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Keep looking up!
On my way to do the On Ya Bike series This is one I stopped at. Thanks for the cache.
Sunday & Monday, sunny and no rain was the forecast……..with the wettest June in so long, I had to take Monday off work to head out for some caches
Where should I head was a dilemma. In the end I decided South, head South and see what I could collect around the Murray Bridge area.
This cache was quickly found, log stamped and all returned as found
TB dropped

Stay at Murray Bridge for two nights with Everlasting and do with Straya challenges Series and Found the cache and logged the log with Everlasting CPwanderer, Thank you so much for placing it.
TFTC CPwanderer for your cache Lowan TWO that we found today.
Camped in Tailem Bend for a few days before making our way to Rutherglen for the Mega. The plan today was Plan B. We originally planned to find the Straya Challenge series fro Karoonda, but our camping spot was not available. We went out from Tailem Bend to find some caches on the way and then sign the challenges.
This was one of the caches we targeted on the way home.

One of seven caches of the original Logan Eight logged today. I’ve been lured out here by the new add-on letterbox to the series, and not having been to this park before, I’m glad I came. All caches were easily found with good coordinates, and all in good condition, with plenty of swaps inside. No snakes were seen, a lizard gave me a momentary scare, and sadly, no lowans (mallee fowl) or mounds (are they in here?). My geocaching.com doesn’t show trails within the park, but they are there and I walked to all of these without difficulty. A big thank you to CPwanderer for this cache and the series.
while wandering through the area on our way to somewhere else for a photo session we grabbed this cache
A good day was had while grabbing these caches with lots of miles covered
Thanks for placing them
*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*

After completing the nearby power trail i pointed the 4x4 in the direction of this national park since i have never been in this national park before. A quick find after walking in to the park. The track in to the park wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. No snakes sighted today but i did see a few lizards and birds.
Found with Mogni. Mogni wants to get to 20, 000 by the Rutherglen Mega in Victoria and make that event her 20, 000 th. So we went out to complete the " Ice cream " series and the " Straya " challenge series plus some extras along the way. 78 ccahes stamped today but since some of them are challenege caches less than 78 were finds. The route to the geo arts was the long way, this was because the main road to Strathalbyn was closed due to road works and the detour was through Milang.

Our fifth ‘bonus’ find on the way back to Bow Hill. The funnest find so far. TFTC
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location.

Quick find here. Some great views of the Murray around here! I love the remoteness of this area. Dropped TB. TFTC
Another quick find on way to Swan Reach it’s a beautiful day for a drive going to visit some resting relatives TFTC
Oh dear, night shift brain. This spot had a nice old water bore on the corner. Ignore the bit about the road surface
Had to park and walk this one, council must have worked the road recently and there is a slight drop off to the road edge. TFTC CPWanderer and superdog Bindi.
All great adventures must come to an end! After five days of intense caching and socialising in the Murraylands, with geo-friends from Victoria, NSW and SA it is time to head back east, with the compulsory stops, to stretch and find a cache or two of course.
Interesting to find a young couple camping in "covid isolation" just near GZ. Fortunately one of them had heard of geocaching!
Thanks CPwanderer for placing caches in such interesting locations.

After finishing off some Adventure Lab Caches in Murray Bridge, I headed to Swan Reach to meet up with a bunch of others for some afternoon caching. I picked just a few caches along the way. Found without too much trouble.
My thanks to CPwanderer for the cache.
My thanks to CPwanderer for the cache.
A beautiful sunny winter’s day had us deciding to cache in the infrequently visited Lowan Conservation Park.
While there we cooked some snags for lunch and soaked up the vitamin D
While cooking we were briefly visted by a magnificent red capped robin. He was a cock bird and getting ready for breeding season so his chest was also fire engine red.
If only he had stayed long enough for us to get a photo
As expected with this CO all caches were found in excellent condition and all with good co-ords.
Many thanks for the hide CPwanderer

A big day’s caching today, beginning with the early morning event at Mile End and the CITO at Regency Park. Then it was out east of Murray Bridge for the main part of the day to find a selection of Traditional, Mystery and Multi caches with FeatherWaite before ending up at Tailem Bend later in the afternoon for another CITO.
The weather was kind to us, with a lovely sunny, calm and not too hot day. Just perfect for caching!
We found all but one of the caches we targeted and all in all it was a very enjoyable and productive day (from a geocaching perspective at least!).
Thanks CPwanderer for the cache.

After checking out the tank and windmill I said g’day to the sheep and made my way to the cache for a nice quick find. TFTC
Mr Tardis was headed for an event at Swan Reach, and stopped here to grab this one on the way past. I found the cache in the first place I looked - don't you just love it when that happens.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache CPwanderer.

Due to the wind being very strong today, we had to cancel the canoe paddle on the Murray with ilook4geo and put together a land based program. There are not many caches around where we are camped, so we went looking for some nearby.
This looked like a good series to do and it was good as it involved some track driving and some walking as well. Each found log was signed and replaced.
Thank you CPwanderer for placing this series of good sized containers and for maintaining them so well.

Out on a cache hunt with goingplaces2, but not doing any water ones today. Picking up some near where we are camped. Cache retrieved, log signed, all was replaced, job done! Time to move on. TFTC.
Out for a drive to check out the silo painting at Karoonda and went back to Mannum a different way TFTC T/B dropped off to continue on its travels
A nice and easy find
A big day out with 101 finds between Adelaide and Blachetown, definitely didn’t take the google maps recommended route that’s for sure, a detour to Murray bridge then through the back roads to Loxton and back to blanchetown. A nice day out overall when dodging the large dust storm.

did this one 2years ago...!!!!! but forgot to log the draft.... cant tell you about its current condition.
Stopped by for a quick find along the the road to Walkers Flat. Maybe I'll get to complete the series one day, but not this trip! Thanks for the cache CPwanderer!
Driving back to Adelaide from Bow Hill and grabbed this one just as the sun was setting. No cellular data with Vodafone in these parts but I loaded up the coordinates on my phone prior to leaving Bow Hill and we walked right to the cache. Thanks CPwanderer.
Our second Lowan cache on our way to Swan Reach today. Unfortunately we'll have to leave the rest of the series until a future visit.
This one was a nice quick find and we were on our way again.
Thanks CPwanderer.

Off for a weekend of fun and caches with Purrfect Di, Sebastbat, and Alex our geonewbie.
Coming down the road to MBridge in the dark, no time for all of these, but a couple were on the way!

Catching up on a few late logs (something not that unusual for me). As always, I enjoyed the journey to find the cache, mostly I have been in the company of Team Crackers, maccamob, alansee and the Coffee's, but occasionally I have gone out solo to soak in the solitude of being out in the fresh air.
Thanks CPwanderer for placing this cache.

Up at the shack with friends and introducing them to the sport stellanhans. Tftgc
o internet service here so could not log the find at the time but found it okay on 03/04/2015
The container is suffering from UV exposure and has a few ventilation holes in it. Sorry did not have one with us to replace.
Headed into SA to - hopefully - collect a FTF on another cache so choose a road less travelled by us. On this road, of course, were caches, why else would we choose this road. Thanks for bringing us Chris. SL TFTC
We've driven by this cache a few times, but stopped today to score a smiley - our second in the Lowan series. We were pressed for time, so we'll have to return to finish the series. Thanks CP.
Still leisurely touring South Australia after the Mega
After moving to Big Bend between Swan Reach and Nildottie on the Murray River, last night we started having major internet problems. Seems our Modem finally died. After much research we decided to head to Murray Bridge to go to the Telstra shop.
Well that was interesting as we ended up buying a new modem from Dick Smiths not Telstra.
But of course we managed to make a few stops and a detour so that we found this cache on the way into Murray Bridge.
Thanks for breaking up our journey and helping with our smilie count.

Camped at Murray Bridge showgrounds, on our 2nd trip around Australia.
Took a drive to Mannum, to pick up some caches in the area.
We found a good variety of cache hides, and enjoyed the country scenery.
This was a great unexpected little series, but all the caches were quickly found.
Many thanks for the hunt, CPwanderer.

Not really a drive by. Went for a short walk and found the cache. The features nearby are really interesting.

I am over from New Zealand for OZ Mega 2014 and today joined forces with fellow kiwis Yorkshirekiwi83, Slieschke and Cats&Dragons and hit a few caches under the team name of "3ST" (a reference to the first letter of our first names.) After completing the Fruit Loop series today, we made our way back to Murray Bridge, picking up a few more caches along the way. Thanks for the cache!
Vistra and I were in Murray Bridge for the MEGA event, we got a phone call from fellow Kiwis asking if we wanted to come out and play and hit a powertrail, well of course we were up for it. We formed the group 3ST (which consisted of Cats and Dragons, slieschke, Vistra and myself) and headed out to the Fruit Loops trail, after we had finished we travelled around a little on our wy back to Murray Bridge picking up caches as we went.
Quick find, thanks for the cache

Not only did I have a GPSr but I was with the infamous GPS, in their well set up vehicle on way to a Mega meeting at MB. Should have researched Lowan SEVEN before we ended up at Eight and no Internet reception. You must have contacts in the catering industry or you consume a lot of pickled onions or sorts, thanks for the adventure, I really enjoyed your part in our day, tftc.
Found at 10:49:00 AM
Nearly drove to it but a new scratchy dead branch in the way. easy find. Nice to see a decent size container.
We had a great day caching with TK2. The morning started out rather warm but soon settled to a lovely day.
Thanks CPwanderer for placing this cache and sharing this area with us!

I was in the area for pedal prix, so of course I had to cache too. Luckily brisal5 was available to help out.... my other usual local was away
Anyhow brisal5 had been wanting to do this series for a while so off we went... I was limping by this stage but managed to slow brisal5 down enough to keep up, plus who would have thought his car could drive down those tracks
Thanks CP, a lovely location.

Out to clear a few caches around Murray Bridge with Mogni after the pedal prix. . I have wanted to do this series of walks for a while. Another drive by. Well actually drive to and reverse out! Thanks CP.
The cache maker and I came from Queensland to find some caches and this was one of them.
We have seen lots of nice country, rabbit holes, sheep, rocks, etc etc etc.
We have also found lots of caches.
thanks for the cache

The cache was a little empty for a big one. Thanks for the Find... I Love Mallee Scrub!
Took the grandchildren out for a few hours to give Mum a break - not a good idea as kids were tired and hot and not into appreciating the natural bushland. Only found 4 of the Lowan series. Will come back and finish when everyone is much happier - maybe leave the kids at home! TFTC and kids loved the great swaps. Time to bribe them with an icecream from the Bowhill Store.
I had passed by most of this cache series back down the road.
It was getting on in the day and I was headed for camp
But there is always another cache that crops up on the side of the road that will delay getting to camp by only five minutes..... isn't there ?
So I stopped and after a bit of a scratch around in the mallee produced a cache
TFTC.

It was time to tackle the Lowan series today. Some I walked to and others were a driveby. There were even some bird watchers at Lowan six (they now know what geocaching is). Thanks for the series CP.
