Nice quick find. Unfortunately the log book is soaking wet. Needs maintenance. TFTC!
On a caching mission this morning with Keylev. I had mentioned that I wanted to hit 100 caches this week. Managed to get up to 50 so today was going to be the big one!
Local cricket match was on but we carried on our business here. quick find. TFTC

On a day mission caching with B4Dawn.
Well hidden under the grass clippings but that didn't fool me.
Thanks for the cache.

Up this way collecting some lighting from a local supplier, and had to wait for the teenager to finish catching up with friends, so what to do....but locate some local caches.....Heading back from Silverdale towards Newmarket taking the side roads and stopping along the way for the odd cache.....not collecting them all as workmen are all over the place.....
Have just had the text to be collected after the teen has been with mates for the day, so this is the last for the day.....
TFTC.

I presume the log has been changed as there was only one name on it and the cache has been around for ages. Another spot to play a game of cricket this summer. TFTC
Had read the recent logs for this one so came armed with a replacement container, with lid, as well as a journeyed log-book, in zip-lock that has been riding around in my back-pack for a few years now. Removed the lidless shattered old container, transferred the toy and replaced it where it's predecessor was found.
A bit of later in the afternoon caching in the local-ish area, and another part of our back-yard that I haven't really checked out caching-wise since coming up here just over a year ago. Wow, how fast time flies. Just the 5 caches this afternoon but some more for the relentless mass that is the Auckland region. Thanks to the COs.

no log, no lid. also home to an ants nest left a little something inside anyway because it’s our first geocache find!
Tried to find this a couple of times in the last 2 weeks. First time there was a muggle sat very close to GZ, so Geohound and I went for a long walk instead. Second time took my assistant and we couldn't see it. Lesson learnt was don't look the photo and assume the cache is always in full view.
No log in the cache and no lid on it, so I have put a piece of paper in wrapped in a doggie poo bag (sorry it was the only waterproof(ish) thing I had on me).

Quick and easy find, although depends on where you’re standing to consider whether it’s at the “first pole”.
After a string of DNF's in the area, it was nice to find a cache! We had the field of dreams to ourselves today, and spotted this one on our approach.
Glad to get a smiley here today, 3rd time is the charm after DNFs back in 2011, and 2012. Walked straight to it today and made an ultra quick find. Glad to put this one to rest, TFTC!
1 st every geocache with our 8 yr old kid.
So cool and we are now w hocked.
Thank you

After a walk along the Okura Bush walkway, and grabbing a bite to eat I am making my way back towards home. I am running a bit ahead of schedule, so de idea to make a small detour for one more cache. The GPSr was bang on here, though I did miss the cache on the first pass. Soon found after another pass over GZ. Cheers for the cache placement!
Wasn't even planning on geocaching and just saw this unusual container and It was this geocache!!!
Came here this morning to grab this one to continue my daily streak (Day #296) Nice quick find. TFTC
Our first find. Took us a bit to find it as novices but we're very excited once the kids spotted it!
Out and about with a day off work so multi's and mystery's were order of the day and the odd trad like this one. Even though there is evidence of kids hanging around here, the cache was well hidden, but not from me! Soon signed myself in and walked back across the field of dreams.
Back to watch a game of football at the park and another chance to find this. No idea how I missed it last time but a quick find today. TFTC
Just happened to be playing an NFF match in the morning. It was an NFF (nice fast find). XD
In the park to watch a game of football and on checking phone found there was a cache nearby. Checked a couple of times and even though it was found earlier in the day my geocaching senses has gone on holiday and I couldn't find it.
Nice easy find thanks Zork ! Well hidden in this public place too !
No big games on tonight .....

The end of 2015 saw us take on a big couple of days of caching. At the beginning of the year, we set a goal of reaching 4000 cache finds by the end of the year. Towards the end of 2015, it wasn't looking too promising as geocaching got put a bit on the backburner for us as life and things happened. Come the 31st Dec 2015 and still needing a good portion of finds, New Year's Eve called for some binge caching in th North Shore to reach that milestone!
Quicky grabbed this cache on this lovely field before we moved on to the next. Thanks for the hide!

Went back twice to find this one and still couldn't see it! The clue didn't really help either because there are many 'first polls' that could be it. Can someone please let me know if this one is still there because I want to find that damn camo peanut butter jar
I teamed up with yorkshirekiwi83 to find a few caches around the Albany area after the Christmas event in Long Bay this afternoon. Made a nice quick find while the park was empty, just before 2 dog walkers came in. TFTC!

Vistra and I were out on the shore this afternoon picking up some of the caches in the vacinity, a leaisurely walk to GZ and a quick easy find before muggles and their dogs were upon us. TFTC

I kept hearing, "Hide it and they will cache." Then a barefooted cacher appeared as from nowhere, winked at me, and disappeared just as quickly. Was my mind going from too much caching? Too late for that. TFTC.
A rare weekend this month when the whole NZtravellers team was home, so we took advantage of a lovely spring day today to wander around the Rosedale park area and complete some caches. Watched some baseball, enjoyed some nearby lunch and found a cache or two. Had lots of fun, with some great camo’s and one or two tricky hides to really get the geo-juices going!
Prior to picking up MissNZT from a tutorial we decided to stop and grab a couple of sneaky caches. Wandered to GZ and found the cache immediately. All is dry and in good condition. #2167 for us. TFTC.

Had a few minutes to kill while Master Jacksonz did his restricted driving test, so wandered over and got this one. Nice easy find.
