Away for a few days so doing some of the back roads and weaving our way around, picking up some more of the hides, which we haven't got previously.

It was a slightly windy day but we were making the most of it. We had a lovely day taking in some beach and river views and finding some great hide. Had a few DNF's but was very happy to pick up some unloved finds.

Wandered in and made this find, after a short search. Happy to pick up some unloved here. Container in good condition.

Thanks flange_1&tribe for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

Tassie Trip Day 211 - This was a great day to take on a the little trail whilst it was not too busy in the area the trail was soon completed and then it was off to the beach for a couple more and a great walk along the shore with the rest of the team staying in the Geo Vehicle and moving it to the other end of the area. I had an error in the head today that saw me use the wrong date all day it should be the 18 apr 19 but my pen wrote 17 apr 19 sorry but the electronic log is correct.

It was a nice day for a coastal stroll and that is what was happening and after reaching the GZ it was after a rather long search the container was spotted in its location and the log slightly damp was signed and returned to that location it was found.

Thanks FLANGE_1&TRIBE for bringing us here to collect a smiley.

I bought the dog and went for a nice and easy walk along the beach to collect this and the other cache near by. Both caches were easily found and are in good condition.

An afternoons caching up towards george town and lulworth, after my last trip to tassie I had missed to caches at bell buoy beach, a new multi had been published and a DNF at lulworth needed to be recovered.
All the caches were easily found.
Thanks for the cache.

25-Jul-18
A bit of a rocky journey but the find was easy.

05-Mar-18
The terrain rating wasn't too difficult at low tide, a few rocks to walk over but nothing too strenuous.

The stroll had gone well,
thanks to a lowish tide Big Grin
But it was coming in fast !! [:o]
And I ddn't fancy the long walk over the rocks if I lingered here too long,
looking for a cache Razz

At GZ I could see yet another typically Tasmanian morass of possible cache hiding places Sad
Ever the optimist,
I peeked at the clue,
expecting the usual "No Hint Available" [:o]

But there was a clue available Smile
Nicely specific too [^]
Hallelujah !!
A Tasmanian cacher has taken pity on me [^]

That didn't make battling to the obvious GZ any easier !! [:o]
And a few more scratches later,
I managed to grab the cache without losing an eye Big Grin

TFTC ,
the stroll,
the scenery [^]

Fave dance time ...
... especially because of the hint [^]

Another quick find on a pretty piece of coast, been meaning to walk down to these for some time and finally got around to it. tftc

Although Boy o'bouy was intended as our turn around target today, the lure of "just one more" & "it's only a few hundred metres away" dragged us onwards. After all, it was a wonderful afternoon for winter in these parts. So on we strolled & an easy walk too in firm sand. The GPS pointer did entice us to turn off a little early so we scrub bashed a bit unnecessarily as there was a clear 4WD track from the beach right to GZ. Cache a trifle damp but log signable.

Got very wet finding this one

Out with Carlin&Sondra another find on a beautiful winters day. Adelaide and I build sandcastles

It was taking us far longer to walk along the beach than we had hopped but we were determined to grab all the caches along here so we didnt have to come back anytime soon, this one was a quick find by me only since I was ahead of the team due to me finding that walking on the dry dead seaweed was far faster than walking on the stones and pebbles.
Names soon added to the logbook and we were off again towards the last one.

Thanks for the cache.

We were now seriously late but kept going. Oh well! The rat took the lead here and was reaching for the cache as we caught up. The grass is quite long here so we were cautious of snakes. All clear for now. TFTC

Decided on the 5 caches along this shore as a bit of a challenge for us. Great afternoon, tide quite low and really enjoyable walk. Had to look carefully at the GPS. Area of cache a little bit overgrown but cache came to hand easily.
TFTC and a bit of a path to the final cache.

Travelling around Australia and now in Tasmania!

Today we headed out from Loira to pick up a few caches on the coast, picking up some we didnt manage to stop at in the last few days.

Beautiful warm day today, much warmer than we have seen for quite some time.

Mr Felix walked from Bell Bay to George Town, whilst Mrs Felix drove the GeoCruiser to pick him upCache found in good order. Razz

It is a nice walk to find this cach. Didnt know that the track was there until today.

16-Feb-14
And what a stroll it was, Not a good area to wear thongs in, good hiking shoes would be the go, no beach to walk on just rocks & more rocks, and more rocks. The area is not as overgrown as the other along this walk so retrieving the cache was not an issue, but do watch our for snakes. Take the buzz off with you.

Thanks flange_1&tribe for another great hide. We walked the beach from the Bell Bouy beach side and back. A lovely 4km round trip in the late afternoon. This was the third of the 4. 19/04/2011 21:23 Found: #407 Having had success with Boy O'Bouy I came to this cache and was rewarded with another quick find. I didn't use any hint. Just the obvious landmark. As I was 1.1km from the car with no idea if the tide was coming in or out, I figured that I should return. so that I could make quick time on the sand and avoid stumbling over rocks in the dark. There was one small section of rocks I had to negotiate then all was well. TFTC TNLN SL

Our walk to the cache was most enjoyable but as we headed back to the car the rain started which somewhat marred the experience. An easy find that took us 1 hour 40 mins return. Fortunately the tide was out so there wasn't much rock hopping to do except at the end of the approach. Thanks.

Found this one on Australia Day finally after eluding me for so long so close to home due to work and kids activities taking up all of my time..... Great spot. Walked past here many a time.

A geogem - yellosno - is in this cache. Could the next finder please log it as if they got it from the cache at the other end of the beach (Coastal Strolling) as I moved it from one to the other and did not write the tracking number down to log it when I got back. Cheers.

Needed something different for our evening walk and a couple of km along the beach seemed like the go. Thanks Flang & Tribe.

PS come on sunset and enjoy the view back over the light house and watch the light run down the beach on the bank behind on the way back.

Have really enjoyed the stroll to the caches along the coast line. Quicky found, took geocoin Left a geocoin sent to me from America, on to the next cache

18-Dec-10
Having previously visited nearly all caches in the area, we decided to approach Coastal Stroll (GC2K1J6) and Coastal Strolling (GC2K1J8) from Bell Buoy Beach. It was a very pleasant walk along the beach, made much easier by the quite firm sand exposed at low tide. Once near GZ, we were able to make a quick find. Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful area.
