Might need a little tlc. Very over grown and despite 2 of us looking for a while we had no luck
Could do with some post lock down care, having not been found in a few months.
DNF unfortunatly, during the lockdown the Dogpark is closed. So we could not go there to search for the cache. Teamklavier from the Netherlands
Back in the big city for a few days and on a mission to get some big numbers ..
Was a bit dubious about this one and approached gz carefully (hopefully from the right side)
Turns out it was and cache didn't take long to discover

We were wandering along the fence, wondering whether we had indeed approached it from the correct side, when someone who had been packing up gear in a nearby field came over, introduced himself as a geocacher who had found this a couple of years ago. He pointed out that we were indeed on the correct side of the fence, and pulling out his phone pointed out GZ. What luck! The log was a sodden mess. We replaced the log and plastic bag. TFTC, Little G!
What would I do for a cache? I would drag my Muggles friend and his dog out for a walk in the dog park. The dog was very keen on jumping in the pond, despite it being the middle of winter. After discouraging her we made the find quite quickly and were on our way for a proper walk. Tftc!
Found after a bit of walking back and forth on either sides of the fence with my partner. Great little case on the cache. Beautiful spot with happy dogs running around! TFTC
Entered from the wrong side first up. Found it on the second go from the other side

Thankfully I chose wisely and had the cache in hand quickly. I placed a temporary log in the cache as it was very wet. A lovely day in the park today. TFTH

Don't think that it matters which side you go from - can reach the hand through instead of walking all the way around if I understood what that means the same way CO meant it.
Anyway - what would I do for a cache - I would climb the fence instead of walking around it anyway!
Logbook soggy so photolog this time.

A lovely walk around on a Friday evening - these longer days are such a bonus!! TFTC!
Out for a long walk with miss 6. Luckily approached from thr right angle so it didnt take too long. Unfortunately container and log book were soaking. Tftc!
It's a low numbers calendar day. The sky is blue. So I hope to find a couple of geocaches after having lunch with my parents. Mum came along for the walk.

StreetWalker had found this cache a while ago, on a solo mission, so it was about time I stopped by and had a look too. Took a while for the GPSr to fire up as it is the first I have used it since returning from our holiday.
Finally the GPSr found the satellites and first directed me to the wrong place, but soon I was in the right place, and signing the log book. Been a while since I have been here - pre earthquakes, I think. TFTC.

A surprisingly quick easy find. I suspect a bit of cache creep has occurred to make it slightly easier than previously. Thanks for the effort that goes into your containers and your hides LGM.
Approached from the correct side of the fence first time and the cache was a quick find. I was absolutely amazed to find a LGM hide so quickly! TFTC.
I'm wondering if the old cache is still here somewhere as there are several people who have logged the cache but not signed the log. How can that be?! Thanks for the cache. I've looked many times unsuccessfully but got a hint at a recent event which helped enormously. Pleased to remove this from my dnf list. Thanks for the hide.
Finally got it! Not sure how I missed it last time I was here, although the grass was longer last time I was here. This time I tackled it from the other side, missed it, messaged a previous finder, then found it before getting the reply. Might have been a bit quick to send the message if I'm honest
Interestingly Mr Dan's signature is on the log but he hasn't logged it yet (I'm told he's 6 months behind in logging). Also: the most recent log online isn't matched by a Sig on the paper log. Not sure if they've found the original cache while everyone else is getting the replacement?

In Christchurch for the weekend and this was the only cache we looked for and found. Probably could have accessed it from either side of the fence. Located without too much difficulty, other than a longer walk than necessary! #1537. TFTC.
Tftc. Finally found it. Was very easy today as I only had to sit in the car and wait a few minutes for the muggles to finish walking dogs.
Had a couple of previous attempts, and the cache wasnt nearly as easy to spot in the past?

Out and about finding a few caches before I head to work with morning. No problems here. Found it surprisingly quickly. TFTC, Biggles.
Another daunting LGM cache off the map. PAF to prepare myself - sure enough a very quick find. My phone fell out of my pocket on the walk back to the car, glad it was in the short grass not the long! Beaut day. GLB1721 TFTC (3941)
With a couple of recent finds, I decided to head out here today after dropping Mrs Popmac back to the airport. Seems the grass here as recently had a bit of a trip as it was a lot shorter today than when I was here last time. Cache was found after a short search this time. Thanks for the cache.
#14360. Thought I'd make a detour to find a cache on the way home from work. GZ was still rather soggy after the recent rain. TFTC.

It was finally time to get back out of the house & find some more geocaches - something I don't get the chance to do enough, but baby was due for a nap, so good timing!
I had a few on my solved & unfound list that I was meaning to find, so could st least try make a dent in that list.
Argh this one wasn't solved & unfound, but it was a bit of a nemesis...
I've been here once before - had a very good idea on what I should be looking for... but no luck... but then the event on the weekend, we'd discussed this one, so I came back armed with new knowledge... and determined... so was nice to finally tick it off!! And surprisingly empty on this nice day - had been pretty busy the other time with all the 4 legged creatures about!
TFTC!!

After talking to a previous finder I had another go today. The hint from him didn't help me either darn it!
Wasn't expecting to find this one. Had an idea on what I should be looking for but not sure if I was on the right track or not.
A DNF from us today but Jess.daphne and I are pretty sure we know what we're looking for. We'll be back another day when there are fewer people playing fetch with their dogs.
This took some work...involving climbing in and out of the fence.....didn't need to do that.....and there's the clue!
On my way past, and stopped to sign the log because last time I found the camo but not the log.
Yay! Pretty cool hide! Mind you don't get your hands dirty! Tee hee. Thanks o the cache owner for their help!
One of three dnf s in the area! I am beginning to think I am not good at this game!
Penny for my thoughts.
Cache was there ! It took me all of 20 seconds to find the cache , yes a little bit of grass had grown over it !
Took the opportunity to change the cache container , since i had brought one but the camo could do with a bit of paint as not as good as it was originally. One day might get around to it.

I was the last finder earlier in the year. Was in the reserve today, and stopped for a look. What I found last time wasn't there today.
Last day of our trip to Christchurch for the mega and time to pick up a few more caches along the way to the airport.
Unfortunately no luck for us here today....

Spent a long time looking with no success unfortunately. The grass was long and there were many potential hiding spots so very tricky.
After scouring both sides of fence we left dejected at another little g failed find mission
long grass - difficult at times , will check it out some time
If I archived every Little G cache that was hard to find there would be none !

We approached from the wrong side initially. We found the cache but no logbook or pen etc. But sure we had it anyway.
Hmmm. No logbook here, but certainly a very artificial ........ at the coordinates which we guess is the cache. TFTC!!!
I found the cache with a bit of help from RuruNZ but low and behold no sign of a log book with the container. Have taken a photo of said container and the area surrounding which I hope will suffice as found. CO - please check when in vicinity next.
Out for the mandatory evening stroll with Tali, with no one around and no other four legged friends to play with I broke out the GPS hey presto cache nearby. Though about wht side to approach from and embarked on the hunt. No joy from this side so went for a walk and no joy on the other. Disappointed another DNF.
Should have scoped this out properly at the beginning of our walk instead saved it for the end and wound up on the wrong side of the fence as warned. Decided to save for another day due to tired grumpy cachlets who wanted ice cream and was promised this after a 2 hour walk.
Guessed what the container would be but had no success. Will have to come back another time
I think I may have looked for this one at some other time, GZ was slightly familiar. A quick easy find today though. I certainly have done some unusual things in pursuit of a cache but as long as they are within my capabilities and it remains fun then no problem

Found new container floating above the old one. Guessed what it would be from the logs. Replaced out of the water a few cm away. TFTC!
Found with the grandchildren - they weren't sure about handling the goods! Fun!
What kind of silly question is that? The answer is simple and pretty much anyone with any caching sense would answer "anything". I attempted this last year and failed. My GPSr wanted me in some cabbage trees and there were plenty of possible cache containers but they looked not quite right. I left as I looked a bit out of place due to the environment. I was driving by this morning after seeing a client in Northwood and thought I'd give it another crack. Got is this time and had a giggle. Didn't even think twice. I didn't even use a stick!!! Good fun! Thanks again for another interesting cache.

Found while out for an evening walk with Mrs McMike2012 & a couple of 'muggle' family members. Had been here once before but the GZ area was packed with people doing the picnic thing so didn't even try looking. Beautiful evening & had the whole area to ourselves. Was located reasonably easily, wasn't sure if I should be wearing my 'bio-hazard' gloves or not, but figured the covering article was in fact harmless. Log book is absolutely soaked & Seemed pointless in trying even pick it apart to write in it...ended up writing name & date on a scrap of paper from my wallet...& no, it wasn't a banknote! Sorry, I didn't have a spare log book with me. TN:LN:SL. TFTC...Little G Magic. #284 for us.
Foiled, my dream LGM run was over. Four from five will have to do. I even suspect I know what I was looking for. The grass is really long at GZ. I'll be back.
