As this cache has been out of action for too long and the cache owner has not responded or performed any maintenance, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to un-archive it.

Nowhere to be seen! Maybe under a big pile of wood chips from recently cut branches?
We did not find cache. A tree has been cut down nearby. Looking at previous logs cache has been disturbed. Confirmation required from owner if cache is still active.

Out for the morning in the Devonport area with the parents so decided to pick up a few caches after brunch.
First DNF for the day.
Suspect that it is missing based on previous logs and an investigation of GZ. A lot of work has been done in the area and not all "items" remain.

We did find this one, but not in the place it should have been. We found it lying on the ground, with nothing in it. We knew it was the cache going by the hint on the lid. There is a tree that has recently been cut down here, so we have placed it nearby. This one needs maintenance by the owner.
I looked for a good while on both side and came up empty. So, either: The tree that contained the cache has been cut down, or I am totally blind.
Another caching win after a loss on the football pitch. TFTC

(886) Had a couple of hours to kill while by bike was having its service. So why not grab some caches while in the area. TFTC
My first find of the day after midnight to kick off the start of a big day's caching; to find 50 caches that are at least 1km apart from each other.
Quickly found aided by headlamp once I homed in on GZ. Thanks!

Out with Reveurs and Anastriel after work to get up their totals. Once we figure out where we needed to be looking it was an easy find. TFTC.
We were attempting to get a lot of caches after work today so Reveurs and I could hit our goals before the end of the year. We approached from the wrong side and at first we were looking on the wrong side of the fence, but then we thought about it for a bit and headed to the right location. TFTC
I had wanted to get to 350 caches before the end of the year and totally forgot, until Saturday. . . So out with Lycurgon and friend to try and get closer. TFTC
Picked this one up on the way to buy my mam's birthday cake. Paperwork a little damp, but still able to sign. TFTC
Found late at night. Log was sodden and cache was home to a small slug. Cleaned it up and best I could.
Been here before and found it but saved for a rainy day...today was that day. Strangely took us longer to find knowing where it was than when we found it the first time, not as easy in the dark, tftc
My second day's caching in NZ this trip around North Shore Hospital where my mother in law is recovering, after a quick visit, leaving my wife, off to do some caching.
An easy find, after I found the right side of the fence.

Out for a few lunchtime caches with kiwigirlcacher and swung by to try our luck here. Not too many issues and the cache was found pretty quickly in the likely spot. TFTC
#1265, Carpark full of tiny dancers, but luckly area at GZ was free from prying eyes. TFTC
Didn't see a trackable.
Needed a cache for a calendar blank and chose a quick grab due to rain for first time in seems like months. This did very well as the short walk was pretty well covered by trees. We even remembered to record the lid contents. PINO TFTC

Easy find thank goodness after unsuccessfully looking for 10SNE1 for half an hour.We were beginning to think we had lost our touch.

We sneaked in behind the building as people were having an afternoon church meeting. Nice singing as we collected the cache. t4tc
I was looking hard for this & asked Jon why he wasn't helping, I looked up & he was leaning on a tree with the cache on his head. He thinks he is so clever! TFTC
After initially looking on the wrong side of the fence this was a quick find with Davycrockpot. TFTC
We weren't to sure which side of the fence it was on but made the right decision in the end and it was soon retrieved quickly signed and put back.Thanks.
Popped over the to the North Shore with the Future Finder this evening to snag some quick caches. I have been meaning to get this cache for sometime, as I used to regularly play social games of soccer on this pitch. GPSr was slow to get a lock under the trees, so I followed my nose and made a quick find. Well, I didn't mean to, but I really have started this series now! Cheers for the cache hide!
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Out and about caching this morning, making the most of the good weather.
We were passing this cache so decided to quickly stop and grab it, liked that the goal posts when not in use were chained to the trees! TFTC

I'd been past this cache numerous times this week and I finally spotted a possible parking spot, so I returned tonight after raiding another suburb further north. It was a bit spooky though, trying to cache at night, while keeping an ear and eye on your surroundings, but managed in the end to find the cache and the first of the series for me. TFTC
4.15pm. Plenty of open space here for a dog to run around in. Focussed onto GZ and moved right to it without a problem. Obviously we were on the right side after reading earlier logs. Found quickly. Good as it gets cold early these days.

Had to have two goes at this one. The gps kept sending me down a private driveway. So started again from the sports field, and this time an easy find.
I too was in the wrong side initially. A quick walk around and the find was easy. Only a few more to go in this series. TFTC
Managed to fit this one in before work, now for the rest in the series... TFTC
Looked for the cache at the wrong place. Made the find easily once at the right spot. TFTC
Found after a brief search. I'd checked the GZ by sight and had missed the cache but on a second sweep from the opposite direction I spotted it.

This was the only find of several I tried to find in the area today, in a spare hour or so.
Nice hide, the log was a little damp, strange considering the container.

Couldn't pick up the huge fungal growth, but the cache was somewhat easier . Damp inside, so gave it a good wipe out - no tradeables in there anyway. TFTC.
I started off all wrong with this one...
I came from the wrong angle, and ended up in some super weird gutter, that was filled with rubbish, and really gross, and tiny, and muddy, and I was thinking, surely this is too gross a spot for the cache! And then I realised that I had been wrong... Cache was on the other side of the fence!
So I walked out, went around, and found it so fast! But now I know what everyone meant by the mushrooms... they were huge! I actually thought one of them was the cache, was about to touch it, but luckily stopped myself in time!!

Third time lucky! Reading the logs certainly helped.
Cache had a bit of water in it so dried as best as I could. Log still dryish.

Nice quick find with the mini geograms. Big slimy mushrooms still there, managed to avoid having to touch any of them. Squeezed in a little item for trade.
Peeled off the motorway after a great night out to make a quick find. I used to go to scouts close by many moons ago.
