Sounds like the local wildlife have reclaimed this location.
Good stuff... it was their spot first!
As an apiarist myself, I'm not about to ask these little critters to move for our sake
I'm no longer in the area to maintain this cache / series, but I'm glad it brought a bit of fun to the caching community over the years.

Weekend trip to Rylstone July 2021. I had decided to head out west to spend some time getting caches I was not able to on my last visit.
Today was a long loop to Bathurst via Sofala, Hill end and Cullen Bullen. I did not poke in amongst the bees to see if the container was still there. The cache or the bees need to move.
Thanks.

Ducked under the bees to carefully grab this cache. Great to have this one in the bag. Thanks for the puzzle, thanks for the cache!
Over in Bathurst region trying to pick up 25 unique cache D/T ratings in a day. It has been such an epic adventure trying to secure them all - we have certainly travelled far and wide!! Glad for all the prep and planning before hand and the few back up caches we included in the list, or we never would have made it.

Nibletricecakes and I had a target today - find 25 different D/Ts. Oh wow! We had to approach this one super slowly - there are loads of bees here. Thanks for placing a cache that contributed to our challenge.
Solved this puzzle some years ago and was hoping to make a find today on my LGA loop. Arrived at GZ and the bees mentioned in previous logs have definitely made their home here. I had a brief look while dodging the bees but couldn't find a way to do more without disturbing them too much. May be worth looking at disabling the cache while the bees are in session or maybe relocating to another spot.
A brief weekend trip to Bathurst with fitzy_1965.
Our main aim was to find previous DNF's and a few others along the way.
A new day brought another find......after a bit of digging and careful avoidance of bees, fitzy came up with the find,

Short overnight camping stay in Bathurst and we took some time for some caches. We had solved this really fun puzzle cache a while ago and were looking forward to the find. At GZ the cache was quickly uncovered (probably not in its original location) - however - bees are setting up home here and didn't really like us disturbing them. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.
Thanks griz4b !!

Spent the day outdoors collecting puzzle caches that I had previously solved. Great weather for it as I made my way in and around my new town. A range of interesting puzzles out there to be solved and I'm looking forward to hiding some of my own. The caches I found today were easy enough with the help of my partner. Thanks for the caches
Homework was completed and a quick find completed by the sisters on there road trip.
Solved this one a few months ago. Was in Bathurst today for second time in our life. Grabbed this one on way past. TFTC.
The last day of 23 of our caching trip to Alice Springs, finding 300 caches in total. This was the last find for the day and the trip!?!
Today we drove from West Wyalong to home. I decided to make it an Unknown Cache only day and I had solved a whole heap in preparation!?!
GZ was obvious but I couldn't spot it! A Phone-a-Friend encouraged me and I was soon up to my elbow pushing past the new growth. Eventually I felt the cache and had a great end to my trip!?! A long unloved cache found!

Out for a weekend of caching from Goulburn to Bathurst and surrounds with The Rats and Steeba.
Despite our best efforts we were unable to find this cache.
Cheers

We had no luck here today, we thought we had the correct coords but alas no cache. Just plenty of bees at a nearby tree
We'd preworked the puzzle for our Bathurst trip to the GCNSW events. After doing a big loop around the south this morning, we were running late for the event but thought we'd just fit this find in. It was a prolonged search, but a great feeling to unearth it, and even better when we realised it had been hibernating for over 15 months waiting for us. Seems kinda strange it's had no attention for all that time. Thanks again grizb.
Finally got this one ! A huge smile across my face i happily SL. Thanks to joshwa27 who solved this difficult puzzle with small interjections from me and a big thanks to griz4b for an ingenious puzzle that i just could not wrap my head around, CO must be a smart bloke. I guess in the end it took a bit of team work for joshwa and i to get this one solved. Thanks again.
Finally worked out the maths for this. A very thorough and well thought out geo cache. One of the more satisfying finds. Gained a better understanding of co ordinates and mapping after this. Thanks Griz4b.
Hi griz4b, emailed you awhile back about getting some help. I hope u can get back to me soon about the remaining letters and how to convert the co ordinates. Thank you really keen to solve this one.
After solving the puzzle back in Sydney, with a little nudge from the co.. gz was a little soggy, and it was hard to drag cheeky Dave away from a cheeky purchase near by.. took snake and left one of our path tags.. tftc..
# 2569. After 3 weeks of travelling our holiday is about to end. Robmc and I are heading to Beechworth today.
This was the first one we collected on the way out of town. It was early on a Saturday morning and apart from a few cars parked with "For Sale" notices all was quiet. Zeroed in on the likely suspect and around and around we went. With some fossicking we finally revealed the treasure we were looking for. TNLN TFTC.

We had collected the final clues yesterday and worked out some co-ords that the checker liked, now on our way out of town, we were looking to collect the mystery. We parked near GZ, and were thankful the checker was OK - it didn't look like a place to hide a regular cache. But off we went to GZ. A bit of ferreting around and the cache was in hand.
Thanks for the interesting mystery cache, Robmc.

I've had the co-ords for this on a post it on my desk for about a year (before the co-ordinate checker was available) logged back in yesterday and saw the checker, confirmed co-ords were correct, went for a look last night, but even then it's pretty busy. Might have to venture for a look for some obvious places in daytime, then return at night to check them out. Its a work in progress...
Last year we found Teamwork and tried to figure out how to complete the cipher...no such luck . We spent alot of time trying to decipher this tricky little puzzle . With the help from a fellow geocacher, we accomplished the impossible! Took geocoin.
Here's an even better solution: I've put a better geochecker in place!
This one even defaults to 'S' and 'E'.
That should make it a bit easier [^]
And visited a few travellers looking for miles.

I have confirmed that the geochecker works but only if you enter the values in a D M.MMM format. Otherwise, it truncates D M S.SSS values, which causes incorrect rounding on the result. To use the geochecker successfully, first enter your D M S.SSS value into the "corrected coordinates" feature in the cache page (to override the posted coordinates). This avoids the rounding problems and correctly converts the value to D M.MMM, which you can then copy and use in the geochecker.
Hmmm...
I've double checked the geochecker myself, and have had others independently check it as well, and all appears well. I can't account for Swynymor's troubles: their solution was identical to what I was expecting... but they say that the geochecker just wouldn't behave.
I know that computers sometimes have a mind of their own. So, if you think you're having troubles with the geochecker, or simply want to talk about your solution, just give me a bell!

Many apologies to Swynymor for what may be a bad geochecker!
I will be in contact to see exactly what went wrong... perhaps I simply need to change to a geochecker that allows a small margin of error for different calculation methods.
Obviously Swynymor persevered and found the cache in the end... well done!

After much calculating, coord checking and re-calculating and coord checking have established that the first calculations we made were correct and that the coord checker doesn't work.
A great concept gives me an inspiration for a cache of our own. Left puzzle GC. TFTC

Since 'Teamwork Too' is now well and truly found, I have now made (most of) the letters of this cipher available in the description, in text format. This should help any new cachers avoid having to troll through ALL the old logs.
I'm a bit of a fraud, but it is all about teamwork, isn't it? I had lots of help from my "team". Thanks to you all and thanks griz for a great puzzle.
Dropped off Mr White Rat, who, for some reason, isn't listed as being in my possession.

I've just realised I've made a mistake with my log. I didn't drop Mr White Rat here, it was at Teamwork.Sorry.
Well! If a Canadian can..... By lunchtime I had managed to decipher most of the coded message but what did it mean? Emailed our team. Finally caught up and decided to try option 1. The middle of a paddock 200m from the road....don't think so. Tried other ways, emailed a few (thank you 2 Blind Squirrels and Geopilots for your help) and googled a lot. Cachers were finding it! (obviously knew a bit more than I did!). finally the incomplete word and some maths! After all that the find was relatively easy! Thanks for the cache and for making us think! SL took TB
Found at last. One cache has provided hours of entertainment and fun. Thanks Griz for an excellent experience.

Sad to see this epic saga come to an end. An excellent idea brilliantly executed. Thanks.
We were not going to get this one today but since it was very wet and there was hardly a sole to be seen we thought we would make a quick stop to see if our co-ords were right or not. We decoded this one a week or so ago just after our last trip to Bathurst after we discovered the two in the series. Mr Stilllookin had came across this thype of cryptography before when decoding other caches so cracking the code was quite easy but the maths required a bit of a trip deep into the memory bank fortunately it was not too deeply buried and the co-ords were soon solved.
Thanks to all who had logged the info at Teamwork for making it all possible and thanks griz4b for the cache.

Thanx heaps for the effort in these caches , great stuff, thanx to all the other cachers that made this cache possible again top work; liked gz and found the cache quick in the rain, far muggles did not even know i was there ! the fast muggles took much stealth as not to arose their attentions.

Third to find right behind the man who there is no way I can pronounce his name.
Had worked out the most with him lets call him ???? and stumbled at the last hurdle. Not to be out done I recieved a call late saying he had it. As it was not far from home I blasted down and we did the honours.
This has been a great fun cache generating plenty to chat about and watching for clues. Lots of fun. Thankyou

Forgive me ...........I don't normally carry on like that but this one deserves it.
[The virtual FTF has been claimed, Congratulations to "the_tower_of_song", and now the physical *FTF* has been claimed as well.
This is, without a doubt, the most rewarding FTF I have done.
I had worked out the key to the puzzle some weeks ago and just needed more letters to work the remainder of the puzzle and extract some co-ords from it.
With an unexpected overtime shift coming my way today it gave me time to sit quietly and try to get this one sorted. Getting close to knock off time, things were starting to fall into place but couldn't work out one key bit of the puzzle. It just didn't make sense.
When I got home, an hour later, and looked at it again the light bulb suddenly switched on and it all fell into place. Gathering it all together, I did some quick calculations and had a look on Google maps. The location looked good enough for a closer inspection.
As I walked towards the co-ords, I spotted a likely hide and after avoiding some passing muggles the coast was clear and I put my hand on the cache at 17:50 hours. The GPS had just 2 meters to go so they are spot on co-ords. Not being a good spot to complete the formalities with muggles likely to appear without warning, so it was back to the car before the cache was opened and the virgin logbook got its first entry.
Left a couple more TB's and retrieved and opened the FTF prize. Cool another traveler...........
Thanks to griz4b for putting in the massive effort needed to make this cache possible. And to all the other cachers who have contributed.....Thanks....A great effort by all.
Now how long till the next finder????????????????????????????]

After seeing the same three letter word throughout the day while working on the cipher with Hanjac, it all suddenly became very clear and after a quick consultation with my trade notes, Hanjac and I went straight to the cache.
Congratulations go to griz4b for the amount of effort that has gone into producing such an interesting and challenging cache and also to Code 1 who if I could remember my trade notes a little better might have been second rather than first
Took "Calgary Canada" tracking bug and "second to find" prize. Many thanks. Signed Log.
Keep these mind bending ones coming!

If only there was a virtual FTF! LOL Thanks for the shout out, grizl. Great puzzle. Cannot wait for someone to get their paws on this one, but it will be a shame when it's over! Get out there folks... go and grab it!

I reckon this cache may see some activity this weekend!... My brother, the_tower_of_song, has shown his puzzle caching skills and solved this one from afar (Canada!)... So he gets an honourary FTF and the Calgary Stampede TB is placed here just for him! But of course the cache has yet to be found, and the real FTF is still up for grabs. So today I've put a few small prizes for the FTFers, and added a TB or two. Happy hunting and puzzle caching!
