As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 14 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

Great find. Paper to write on is saturated. Vial broken.

Had a very good look at what I thought was GZ. Looked at both clues, but couldn't spot anything. Went and found a nearby cache and had another good look on way back. Still nothing.

Found on a little walk around Hahei. Lovely little park - kotare a favourite NZ bird of ours. Cache very wet after rain overnight. Dried as best we could in the sun and replaced vial inside zip lock bag. Needs a new vial really. Thanks for the cache.

I joined forces with yorkshirekiwi83 for a couple of days caching around the Coromandel Peninsula. After a very early departure from Auckland, we then drove around the Peninsula anticlockwise, calling in at Pauanui, Tairua, Hahei and Cooks Beach, to find caches in those places, before taking the 309 Road to Coromandel, where we stayed the night. A quick find here, although the cache could probably do with replacing. TFTC!

Decided to go away for an early start to the weekend and make a real effort on the Coromandel Peninsula, Vistra was up for the challenge of joining me. Having travelled up the coast to get to these caches, we made quick work of finding this one. TFTC

Cache needs new logbook and new container. The old container is broken and is only sealed by a random piece of wood. In addition the logbook was full. I added a small piece of paper.

Cunning hide, found it on the second pass, the vial is broken with the lid missing found a likely piece of stick to plug it in the short term, but may need some attention.

Found after a walk to the shop to buy ice cream - TFTC!

we found it but took a while as we were looking in wrong place. was fun to do on a sunny day

We soon found the cache, but extraction took a little longer. Presumably owing to the lid's having been lost, the log was wet and soggy. TFTC
